"Canvas Hostel is clean, organized, comfortable, and provides great value to all types of travelers who visit the Haeundae area of Busan. Canvas Hostel consists of 2 buildings (right across from each other) on a side street near Haeundae Beach. The staff is friendly and can speak English very well, so don't worry if you're a traveler who cannot speak much Korean language. Canvas Hostel is my favorite place to stay in Busan and you won't be disappointed if you choose to sleep in this hostel. Just make sure to check-in by 11:00 P.M. and you're good to go!"

"Good location (selemparan batu dr Busan station) near Busan station, easy find out, easy to check in and check out, easy to go around Busan with bus and metro subway. The owner and staff are very attentive and kind, they help me carrying my luggage when i check in and check out, (thank you very much). One more think that I realy realy like is that the room is super clean 👍. They have heating floor and electric bed cover too."

"The view near the hostel is wonderful. located by the beach and surrounded by high buildings and many restaurants and nice cafe. The room was really clean, even it's a bit small but still enough for 3 people in the room. the bathroom was really nice too, nice design and big mirror hahaha. Ahjussi or the staff is really nice person, he drove us to the nearest bus stop and to Busan Modern Art Museum. The breakfast also the best, they provide egg, bacon, sausage, bread, cheese, cake, banana, coffee, tea, orange and apple juice also. we could cook at the kitchen by our self. The room is almost like a hotel facilities. Overall it is a very nice stay at Bexco hostel. Kamsahamnida Bexco Hostel :)"

"This is one of the best hostel i've been in Korea. They provide free breakfast and free use of washing machine and dryer machine. They do sell detergent for 1000won, which i still feel cheap as the machine used is free. The common room is on lower floor while female floor is on second floor, so it is quite and nice stay. I book the 4-bed with private bathroom, but only shower attached inside room and the toilet is still separate from the room. This hostel would be perfect if the toilet have bidet or other nearby water pipe. Other than that, the common room is shared / being used by restaurant below. So during lunch time you can't freely cook here. But afternoon after 3 or 4pm would be ok as they close the common area from the restaurant. Location wise, it bit far from subway station. But close to all the markets nearby, and you can explore by foot. Mark the place in map, and it is recommended to walk from Exit 7 Nampo Station."

"I was here with my friend in May'13, it's quite late to give this review but I really want to give this hostel a shout-out. I'd emailed Roy with enquiries before deciding on this hostel, and his replies were prompt and helpful. Upon reaching Busan, I wasn't sure if the airport transfer could get us close enough so I reached Roy via online chat and response was immediate. My friend was down with food poisoning and he offered help and advice, and asked about her condition a few more times until she got better. No issues with communicating with him in English, which was a relief. The other staff were also quite approachable so we asked for recommendations and some travel tips. Room was great, it looked good in photos but it was still a nice surprise to find a room so prettily decked out for a hostel. No TV though, but with WIFI you can live with your smartphone :) There was a pretty rowdy bunch that was at the hostel during our stay and their noise highlighted the sound-proofing issues; then again, this is not some 5-star hotel so I guess it depends on your luck if you get a restful stay there. Breakfast is toast with butter/jam, all self-service. Hostel is a short walk from Haeundae market, beach and station! 5 minutes or so. What more could you ask for? Location is great, and the staff goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable while respecting your privacy."

"The location will be much easier to locate if you were to exit from the right exit, since the exits in Seomyeon station is pretty confusing, I would encourage travellers to exit from exit 15 and you will be able to locate the hostel in a breeze. Overall, the hotel condition was outstanding and the staffs were really helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there although it was a short 2 nights stay. The comfort level of the hostel made me not want to go out and explore Busan but instead stay and enjoy the hotel room. I will definitely come back to Calli Hostel if I were to travel to Busan again."

"Perfect location. Just across Busan (train) Station and Busan (subway) Metro. It’s also close to the airport bus stop... 5 to 10 minutes walk towards the main high way. The proprietors were very kind and accommodating. They are always around if you need to inquire and Mozzi the dog was very well trained and friendly. The layout and facilities are very well designed. The view is spectacular especially at night. My only regret would be staying here for only one night. I’d love to stay here longer next time just to watch the sunrise and sunset in the living room sans dining/kitchen. It’s like home for me. 정말 고마워요 사장님, 다음 시간까지요. 🌸"

"Blue Backpackers Hostel worked out perfectly for us. It was pretty conveniently located about a 10-15 minute walk from Seomyeon station. That station has the two main lines you'll need for a lot of activities in Busan. There are also lots of good restaurants and cafes in the area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in late and they gave us lots of great food recommendations in the area. The breakfast was simple but good and they have water machines to refill your bottles. The attached bathroom in our room was Korean style (no separate shower stall), but big and clean. Overall a great stay and I would stay again when I return to Busan. "
