Excellent location, good mid range hotel”
Situated in Downtown Yangon between Bogyoķe San Road and Anwartha Road in the Bahosi area. The hotel kindly organised a taxi to pick me up from the airport but due to a lack of communication by my booking agent I was not aware of this and organised my own taxi (8,000 kyats). On my arrival at The Hotel Bahosi total and utter confusion as to why I did not take the taxi the hotel organised. I apologised but if I did not know a taxi was arranged why should I have looked for this. We all calmed down and I was welcomed with a cold fruit juice and a lovely bowl of fruit awaited me in my room. Throughout my stay at the hotel the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and cleaned every day. The location was perfect for getting around on foot for local sights and restaurants. The Hotel Bahosi also had small convenience store accessed from the hotel. Another great advantage was the Junction Maw Tin shopping centre less than 5 minutes away from the hotel with some excellent places to eat if you are on a budget. Hotel Bahosi arranged my bus ticket and taxi to the bus station on my departure. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Great Value Downtown hotel”
We found the Bahosi to be a perfect budget hotel near the city center. We walked to the Scott market from here and walked back from the 19th street food bazaar at night. The staff were excellent especially the doorman Aung Aung who always helped us get a taxi and even accompanied us on our search for my lost wallet which ended with a miraculous find! If you are looking for a clean comfortable place to stay in the downtown area this is it. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Yangon.

Good affordable hotel in Yangon”
Hotel Bahosi is a convenient and affordable choice when visiting Yangon. Staff is very helpful and friendly and helped us whenever we needed an advise, directions or any transport arrangements. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Attached bathrooms are separated from the rest of the room with frosted glass walls which was a bit unusual but works quite well. Overall our stay was nice and comfortable.

Excellent service, very clean”
This was my second stay at Bahosi. This time I hired out the dining room to give some classes and they were very accommodating. The single room is comfortable and clean and has everything you need. The window is not huge so if you want a view, it's not the room for you. The hotel has a few nice restaurants nearby and a brand new shopping mall if you need something (like I needed to by a mobile phone). Good value for Yangon.

Perfect location, wonderful staff.”
We spent two nights here at the end of a ten-day holiday in Myanmar and loved it. The location is perfect, near the National Museum and Shwedagon Pagoda (though not quite walking distance unless you are very fit; then again, Yangon is a city of 5 million people, so distances are long. However, our random sampling showed that c.30-40% of cars were taxis, so not problem there). The staff were exceptionally helpful, actually steering us away from one or two things we enquired about. They have good maps and guides available (free), the WiFi was good, both in the room and reception, and the room itself was good (the shower was exceptional: great temperature and very high pressure if you wanted). Possibly most amazing of all, there is a 24-hour supermarket next door which can be accessed through a door in the hotel lobby! The breakfast was fine though some dishes were not quite to our taste. However, they do the usual basic eggs and sausage or toast if you are not in a mood to experiment with Myanmar cuisine at that hour (coffee was good). At $50 per night, it was the most expensive place we stayed in in Myanmar but that is good value for Yangon, especially given the location.

Recommended Hotel for explorers”
This is as good a hotel in Yangon as any you will find. Extremely clean, good TV, shower and aircon and above all, an excellent breakfast- there are about 12 different options, including Shan and American styles and choices of real fruit juice or coffee. A taxi to the Shewadagon Pagoda is about 2000 local, although we always haggled (start at 1000 and work your way up). The wifi was at times patchy, but this is a Yangon issue rather than the hotel. The convenience store next door, which is connected to the hotel via it's own door, is very useful for buying drinks and snacks. Finally, the hotel is about a 4 minute walk from a very good Shan restaurant called Shan Yoe Yar, currently in trip advisor's top 10 restaurants. This was our first destination after arriving and was a good education in local dishes set in a very fine environment.

Home away home”

Amazing Staff at the Bahosi!”
We moved the Bahosi Hotel when my friend became very sick in Yagon, and the place we'd been staying was full. We were so glad we chose to stay here. The hotel itself is nice, rooms very clean and comfortable, but what really stands out is the staff, who are wonderful, and some of the nicest people we've ever met. They could not do enough for my friend while she was sick, including taking her (and me when I got back from an afternoon out and learned that she'd been admitted) to the hospital, buying her bananas when it was the only thing she thought she could eat (I only asked them where I could get some, but they actually went out and got them for us!), and lots of other very helpful things. The best hotel staff of anywhere I've ever stayed in the world! Very highly recommended.

GREAT for the money, fine staff. Very clean and quiet.”
The Bahosi is a very pleasant budget option in an expensive city. It's downtown, about ten minutes by cab from the old colonial section. Don't expect the Ritz, and don't expect architectural charm. But if you are looking for clean, quiet, safe, good hot water and great staff, the Bahosi is an excellent choice.

Unexpectedly great hotel”
It was unexpectedly pleasant stay at hotel Bahosi. Booked for three persons through agoda.com for less than 70usd - it delivered good value for that money. WiFi could be better, but that's not a deal breaker. Woul definitely stay again

Hotel Bahosi, Fantastic and Cozy Hotel in Yangon.”
I find it an excellent experience at the hotel. The staff were very friendly. You will be greeted with a very friendly and welcoming smile every time you see them. You feel like home staying with your family members. The response to your request was very fast and satisfactory. The hotel staff will help you hiring a taxi and they will even bargain it for you. There is a convenience store at the ground level by the lobby and carry most of the essential items from personal items to food and drinks with reasonable pricing. The breakfast is served on the 7th floor which makes it very private. The breakfast menu includes Europeon, Chinese and Burmese food. Mohinga a famous Burmese breakfast is served. It is essentially a very delicious fish soup in fish sauce served with rice noodles. Another famous Burmese breakfast served is "Ohn No Khauk Swe - a coconut milk soup with chicken meat served with flour noodles, The third famous Burmese breakfast served is "Pe Nan Byar" which is boiled bean soaked or fried in oil served flour bread known as Naan. Still another famous Burmese food served is "Saan Byoke" which is a thick boiled rice served beans and fried dried small fish. The food served is very clean and hygienic. The utensils are also scrupulously clean. The restaurant staff are also dressed with appropriate professional clean dress. Needless to say they are also very friendly and the service is excellent. The tables are also spotlessly clean which makes eat with complete confidence. Back to the hotel room, one thing I like is the minibar which is small fridge containimg drinking water bottle, coke cans and fruit juice cans. The price of these drinks also very reasonable. The room has a safe. I kept my money and Passport safely throughout my stay. Also included in the rooms are hair dryer and electric kettle for making booked water.the hotel also has laundry service and I found it very convenient. Overall, this is an expensive hotel with four to five star status.

Quiet location, helpful staff”
I would definitely stay again. Rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast was nice, staff were helpful, price was reasonable. The hotel was in a residential area west of some of the main sights in downtown Yangon, but within walking distance of a very nice restaurant - Shan Yoe Yar.

Good hotel”
Hotel is in a convenient neighbourhood accessible to most attractions in downtown. Great breakfast variety among all the hotels I have been to in Myanmar. Room is slightly dim but air con is strong. Great service in Yangon.

Nice place, prepare to walk”
I thought this was a nice hotel and the staff were really helpful in every regard. It's a little hard to find since it seems to be in among the hospital buildings but that's no problem if you go by taxi. If you want to visit cons town or downtown Yangon be prepared to walk about 2km. The hotel is just a little further away from the Centre of town than you might consider 'central'. Overall this is fair value for your hard earned

Ideal stay”
The staff were our favourite bit about the hotel. Very welcoming and incredibly helpful with all our queries. Breakfast was ideal with a fab view of the area from the 7th floor. The staff arranged prompt and great taxis for us when required and recommended some great places to eat. Thank you Bahosi.

Wonderful place for a three to four day visit”
My stay at the Bahosi Hotel was wonderful. It is clean, a friendly staff. A convenience store is attached to the hotel and so is an entrance. There is also a very nice restaurant short by with a excellent variety of food. It is an easy 15 to 20minutes walk to down town. To see major attractions it is about $3 one way per taxi. People are honest and friendly.

The rooms and facilities at this hotel are clean and comfortable. Hotel Bahosi makes its name through its fantastic service. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and spoke English well. They also provided some helpful travel tips by email before we even arrived. Recommended.

Best location”
It is located in a good quarter as I could walk to the big citymart nearby. It isn't too far from the Chinese quarter, the Boyongke Aung San market (old and new), the Junction Mall, the Botatung pagoda, etc. Their price is so reasonable compared to others in Yangon and their location is a big advantage.
