Excellent hotel but a little lacking in the F&B ”
Stayed 3 nights at Hotel Emion Phnom Penh and most of it was great. The location was good, the rooms were clean and spacious, the level 19 infinity pool had a fantastic view and gym was pretty decent. Our only complaint was that the nice poolside restaurant was only opened in the morning for breakfast and the kitchen is closed for the rest of the day, no lunch or dinner services nor any room service. But apart from that, the hotel is worth every dollar.

Absolutely brand new with superb facilities”
Our first trip to Phnom Penh and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. We love all things Japananese, and this is definitely a very well appointed hotel by Japanese standards. Clean and good facilities with a great breakfast. Coffee and biscuits in the lobby are complimentary (although unfortunately only within certain hours). Some reviews say there was construction going on in the last week of November 2018, but we were there from the 29th November 2018 and it was all done. Hotel room was large with a rain shower, microwave, large refrigerator (not those dinky small ones that can't fit anything), and sink. TV was good with a large selection of channels to choose from. Internet speed was good enough for streaming, and the AC was acceptable (couldn't change the blowing angle much though). There's a kids play area (small kids), gym, and a beautiful pool overlooking a stunning river, especially during sunset. Still lacking a decent restaurant.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We arrived early in the morning and were fortunate to only have a short wait for our room which was on the 9th floor with great views of the river. The room facilities were great, lots of storage, handy kitchen area - not that we used it - and super modern toilet facilities, couldn’t fault the room. At the moment the restaurant is only open for breakfast , which they do very well, but believe it will be opening for evening meals shortly and though there is a swim up bar in the pool again this has not yet been brought in to use and was my only reason for only awarding 4 stars for facilities. Loved the free coffee and cookies in the cafe lounge and the staff were helpful and friendly. If I’m Phnom Penh again would stay here again.

Little details that make all the difference make this a clever well designed and thought out hotel. Staff are very well trained all through the hotel from the guest staff to room staff to the restaurant. Ive stayed in many hotels and Emion Hotel and its staff are very good on an international standard. They also enforce a strict no smoking policy which is great as many do not and the guests just flaunt rules with no respect for others. Great job Emion

I have stayed at at least a dozen or more top quality hotels in Phnom Penh, and I would say that this is the best of them all. They have excellent service and the rooms are great. The only area that wasn't the best was their breakfast. It was better than most, but not the best, though for the price it was very good.

When I stayed here, it had only been about two months since it was built. This means the cleanliness was beyond expectations since everything was brand new. The welcome drink was iced ginger tea and it was really delicious. There's also a complimentary bar for guests at all times. Multiple elevators as well, so that was convenient. The amenities were high quality from a local Cambodian company. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of Western and Asian (Japanese and Khmer) cuisine. The location is a bit out of the main city area, so a tuktuk ride is mandatory to go anywhere, but it was worth the stay there. Overall, an amazing stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Phnom Penh.

This hotel was just built in October 2018 and is very well organized. We were greeted with welcome drinks and waited on politely while the staff organized all of our check in papers. We were allowed to check in early. The room and very comfortable and exceeded all expectations. We have a toddler and she loved playing in the kids room on floor 18. We loved the location as it is near royal palace and riverside for an evening walk. The breakfast is amazing... Full buffet and espresso machine! Overall, we give this hotel 10/10.

We are very impressed with this brand new hotel. Started with the welcoming lobby, cooling welcoming drink, served by nice staff who speaks good English. Our room was very spacious, clean and quiet. Knowing our neighboring rooms were all occupied, we never heard any noise during our stay. Amenities are thoughtfully provided. Breakfast was impressive. There are local, western, and Japanese choices. Servers are professional. They always serve with plenty of smiles. Another highlight is the “edgeless” swimming pool. From certain angle, it almost looks like it’s a part of the Mekong river - yet cleaner by far. The gym is well equipped and has a view too.

This is a brand new and very tidy Japanese run hotel. While the restaurant is only open for breakfast and the pool bar does not seem to be open for business yet, my family enjoyed the hotel. There are only 6 lounge chairs at the pool which meant that many people had to use chairs and tables near the closed bar to enjoy the pool. The view from the roof top pool is stunning! There is no room service but the gym is really nice. I would stay there again.

I booked this room for my guests. But I accidentally chose the room without breakfast. So, I called them to see if I could add breakfast for our guests. They said I could and I had to pay 10$ per person. So, I asked them if i could pay the cash via money transfer or they can hold my credit card for a certain amount. But they said I had to come to pay at hotel. So I asked them again if they could help tell the guests to come to breakfast upon their check-in in hotel because I would love to go and pay the breakfast fee before the guests check out or later in the evening. And sadly, they couldn't even do that. In short, I had to go all the way to pay for the breakfast fee and tell all my guests to go to my breakfast by myself. Staff were not so helpful in such circumstances

Stay for two at Hotel Emion”
Stayed in the Junior Suite this past weekend. The room is spacious and clean, however...... The bed is positioned horribly. If you're a single traveller it is positioned fine, but the positioning of the bed doesn't allow both people, if sleeping two, to access their side of the bed. As seen in the attached photo one side of the bed is pushed up against the wall. An absolutely ridiculous layout, especially for a "suite". On top of that... The pool is disgusting. The water is merky. The pool drains off the side (similar to an infinity pool) into an area that is filled with algae which recycles into the pool. Having a pool, in such a warm climate, is an absolute must for us as we travel and often a big part of choosing a hotel; the view from the pool, despite looking good in photos, is blocked by white dots on the glass... And as I said, the pool is grimy and makes you feel like you just soaked in filth coming out.

This is a new and lovely hotel. Really spacious rooms. The view was amazing! We could see the river and the Royal Palace from our window and balcony. Best of all, staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always smiling!

This hotel was amazing. The breakfast was great, the hotel facilities were really good, too. The one thing I would point out is that the bar was a little small. If rhey let people sit inside the restaurant area at night that would be good. my girlfriend and I were able to sit and drink by the pool though, so that was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
