Impressive views, quiet yet very close to central shops, restaurants and bars. Great value for the room size. I was on 24th floor. Room was huge, but a little on the hot side (the Aircon wasn't working so it had fans. I was also able to sleep with balcony door open to keep the room cool. Room could have been cleaner. Overall I'd stay again as great value for the location.
It was a good stay the air conditioner not working made it a bit uncomfortable especially with no windows for ventilation would've liked for the TV to have more options aside from youtube but all in all a good stay
Apparently some of the rooms do not have heating and it’s been like this since December. There are no details about this when you book so we booked a non-refundable rate and realised the day before arrival that the heating could be an issue. I called ahead and the person helping me was vague at first but when I pressed they confirmed that some rooms don’t have heating and assured me we would be given one of the rooms with heating. On arrival, I reiterated my concern to the person checking us in and apparently no such room had been assigned to us because she crossed off the room number and gave us another. The hotel itself is in a great location so near to the restaurants and canalside area at the Mailbox which was convenient for us. The view was spectacular as well but, the rooms are very tired. The walls were stained, the door was scratched and chipped. It was nice we had a fridge as some people might need that. Considering there are a lot of other decent hotels in the same area, we probably won’t be back.
i booked this hotel for my 21st birthday, and shortly after arriving we realised how ridiculously hot our room was. easily 30° considering our room was on the 24th floor with no windows. we called reception who told us the air conditioning was broken but they’d bring up a fan. the fan did nothing but push hot air around the room. me and my husband went to the reception desk where we were met with 2 of the rudest young men that proceeded to tell us to email the hotel and complain. we asked what could be done about our room for the night as we simply couldn’t sleep in that glass oven, and the boys on reception were smirking and laughing whilst we explained how awful their service had been. we ended up sitting in our car all night and got 1 hour of sleep in our hotel room just before checkout time. if your warm blooded, i wouldn’t recommend the cube hotel.

“Great views. Repair the air con.”
Hotel rooms are on 23rd and 24th floor or the building. The window goes from floor to ceiling so a good head for heights is necessary. Rooms are well appointed and beds are comfortable. When I was there the air conditioning was not working and fans had been placed in the room. This made the room very warm and as the windows do not open it was difficult to get a restful night's sleep. Hotel is well located by the Mailbox complex with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
