Entirely adequate”

I think the bad reviews here are unfair. This hotel, for what you pay (cheapest in Casablanca), is entirely adequate. The beds are comfortable and the shower has hot water with good pressure - the bathroom is rather outdated though. They provide soap and the wifi is good enough in the hallway, however regularly drops out in the rooms. Breakfast was very nice, breads, jams, etc, plus pancakes made to order. The one main downside is the noise - a pumping bar downstairs means loud music. For us on a Sunday, the music stopped at 11:30pm which is okay, may be later during the week. Bring ear plugs.

I stayed in Morocco for 15 days and I have stayed in other 3-star hotels. Therefore for fairness, the following comments are based on the comparison with similar hotels I have stayed in Morocco, i.e., I won't compare it with 4-star/5-star hotels, or hotels in other countries. The hotel is in a convenient location, this may be the main thing that's good about the hotel. The biggest problem with the hotel is cleaniness. The room itself is not clean. Many surfaces are sticky/dirty to the touch, e.g. floor, table, basin, bath, etc. There are visible dirty sports on the wall, in the bathroom, etc. The breakfast room itself is beautiful, but the cleaniness is un acceptable. The floor and table cloth are both dirty/sticky . There's no big plate to put food in. There're only large plastic trays and very small dishes to hold food, which are both dirty (with visible food residue). The wifi is very good, easy to connect and very fast. I would say this hotel's hardware (building) itself is good/satisfactory, but the cleaniness is terrible if you're used to the standards in European/Asian hotels. I wouldn't recommend it to others, and wouldn't stay again.

The receptionist would't give me my change back. ”

Not bad location, but extremely noisy at the evening. The receptionist, Mrs. Lorraia refused to give me my change, saying that it was city taxes, when I already had payed the room AND the taxes! I had to insist and wait for about 10 minutes, because she ignored me on purpose. When she realised I was not leaving, she throwed the change over the balcony and swore in arabic. The bedroom and the bathroom was pretty clean, but there was a cockroach with about 5cm, even though it was the 5th floor! The breakfast isn't bad, but has no eggs.

The reciption staff made us to pay more fee even we paid it all already. ”

I booked this hotel and paid all including hotel fee. And when i arrived there, the reception woman told me to pay more fee even we paid it all already. She kept saying we can’t stay there if we don’t pay more. We paid more fee by cash. And then we could stay there. :(

If you are a single traveler and simply need a place to sleep, this is for you. We had a group and the woman at the front desk was pretty bossy (not rude). The men at the desk were pleasant. Housekeeping refused to bring the number of towels we needed, and the WiFi never worked. So, if your travel group requires more convenience, this is not the best hotel, but a single traveler should be fine.

I kindly not to reccomend to stay this hotel. Firstly they gave me a really dirty room. After I have asked them to change that room, they said me to relax and wait for a few minutes before a cleaner made it clean. I have waited for a half of hour in the unfriendly hotel hole. There were not any towel in the room, and also it was so noisy because of big road behind the hotel.

IV been traveling for 6 months in total 6 countries , this is the worst hotel I ever saw , impolite staff in the reception especially the women , very dirty hotel , a looot of noise from the multiples cabaret around the hotel and from 7 am the noise of constructions in and also around the hotel start so don’t think that you can sleep before 3 AM and after 7 Am , this is torture yes. Housekeepers can open the door of your room anytime , I asked them for a towel and they give a towel from another room who they just checked out ... I still have a lot to say , JUST AVOID THIS HOTEL.

I've been traveling for 6 months in 6 countries , this is the worst place I ever been, totally and extremely impolite and unprofessional staff... totally dirty hotel ( the keeper she gave me a towel from another room who they just checked out !! my friend was coming and he saw her taking the towel from another messy room's bathroom !! ) there is plenty of cabaret around the hotel without any soundproof windows ... so imagine the Morrocan traditional songs from midnight till the morning dears... and a lot more just avoid this hotel.

Hotel being renovated. Reception is a mess. Was charged another two Euros as ‘taxes’ even though everything was paid. Their restaurant is closed so you have to walk 5 minutes to another restaurant for breakfast - which is also a waste of time since hardly anything worth eating.

Hotel was situated near bars and small resteraunts . Staff were very polite and all had good customer service skills . Breakfast was morrocan style but very nice . Only issue was there is only 1 lift and night before we left us broke down due to arrival of guests overloading it . With hotel having 6 floors it could do with another lift or a poster needs to be posted on lift stating 2 guests and cases only . Otherwise it ws a nice hotel and excellent value for money

Nice,clean Hotel in Casablanca. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were extremely friendly. 15 minute walk from Casablanca Port Lift was broken and the room was so noisy I hardly slept all night. Ok for one night.

I really enjoyed my stay at hotel majestic. I only had one encounter with a maid that knocked on my door, that asked for a tip. This is something that I didn't appreciate very much. Because it felt very forced. But after all, a good stay!
