Good central hotel for sightseeing Stockholm ”
We had a 4 night stay at Hotel Tegnerlunden which in Stockholm. The hotel was well priced for the being so close to the centre of the city and Sweden is generally an expensive country. We arrived at the central station and walked to the hotel, took around 10 minutes and was easy to find. We arrived several hours early hoping to leave our bags before going exploring. They already had our room ready, so we went straight up! The room was a fair size for two people with a tv, table and a sitting chair. The bathroom was a wet room, which I generally don't like, but this was the best wet room I've ever seen. There was a movable door on the shower which help to stop the water from going everywhere. The heating was good in the room, in fact, we found it to hot and had to turn it down to about half way. Breakfast was generally done well with a wide variety to choose from. We did find on the Saturday morning that it was rather busy but find on week days. We had little need to interact with the staff but when we did they were alway pleasant. The hotel was centrally located within Stockholm and we could walk to the city centre and 'old town' within 10 minutes. During our stay we didn't use an public transport as we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We traveled as far as Skansen by foot, roughly 30 min walk. We booked this hotel through a discount in agoda but we centrally rebook if ever visiting Stockholm again. There was WIFI throughout the hotel which operates fast and we had no issue connecting multiple devices to it.

Comfortable, Clean Hotel w/ Helpful Staff”
I stayed here for 4 nights while attending a conference at the City Conference Center and I really couldn't have been happier with the hotel. I was a short, pleasant walk to the Conference Center and started each morning with the hotel's delicious and nutritious breakfast. I had a twin bed, but it was very comfortable. The bathroom was simple, but very clean and modern. I had a non-smoking room and I didn't smell a whiff of any smoke or other unpleasent smells at all within the hotel. I arrived at about 9am (after a flight from the US) and the staff was able to get my room ready within a half hour and let me check in early. They also let me shower in the communal bathrooms in the Micro Hotel below the Tegnerlunden Hotel while I waited. The staff was also very helpful with all my other questions during my stay.

fantastic stay”
This is a nice hotel tucked away in the quiet area of Stockholm but central enough to reach by metro or on foot. It's located a bit uphill, next to the Tegnerlunden Park. There's little traffic, so even though my room is right next to the street I was never awakened by any noise. The staff was very friendly and efficient and all speak fluent English. The room is smallish and the single bed quite small but just perfect for me.

Very nice hotel”
Really good location, within walking distance from city centre, shops & restaurants, and yet nice & quiet facing Tegnerlunden park. Our room was not huge, but impeccably clean and quite recently refurbished in a pretty and tasteful, typical Swedish style. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced - extremely good value for money!

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend ”
I booked this hotel for visiting my sister, and it was only 2 minutes from her apartment, do a perfect location. Also very good location for the city centre which is only a 5/10 minute walk. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was good, standard Swedish, including fresh bread. The fresh cookies to go with tea/coffee were a nice touch. Hotel staff were excellent. I had 2 reservations (I changed my mind about how long I wanted to stay) and there were no problems making sure I stayed in the same room. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. I've stayed in a few hotels in Stockholm for a similar price and this is by far the best.

Great Hotel in the Best City in the World”
This was the best hotel I stayed at while traveling for 3 weeks throughout Scandinavia. I really felt like I was at home. The breakfast was just like mom would make, the room felt like my very own bedroom. It even overlooked a nice park as well; in central Stockholm! The city is great, and this hotel is a great value. It even has nice high-speed internet access. I will be staying here again! We took a train from Oslo, and had no problem finding the hotel. It is in walking distance to most of the major attractions including Gustav Adolf's Torg, National Musem, Shopping Districts, restaurants and more.

Clean, warm, safe hotel with great location”
hotel is in a great location, 15 mins walk to old town. quite location. rooms are ample. clean and cosy. not huge, but not tiny. the breakfast is the real bonus. food and drinks are expensive in stockholm, so the breakfast is fantastic. toast,tea, coffee, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, juice, boiled eggs, cold meat, cheeses and breads. staff speak perfect english, are very friendly and only too happy to help. not that we are usually tv watches, but because it was so cold while we were there we spent more time than usual in the hotel and there were multiple english channels.

A very good stay at Hotel Tegnerlunden. Nicely furnished, friendly staff and a good nights sleep. The temperature in the room could though be higher. Visited during Swedish winter.

Ideal for visiting Stockholm”
Room was very clean and comfortable. Although on the small side it was good considering the cost per room. The breakfast was included in the cost of the room and excellent, with a good choice. It certainly set us up for the day - important as eating out in Stockholm is expensive. The main shopping area is only 5 minutes walk and there are some great restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is easy walking distance from the railway/coach station with many attractions only 15-30 minutes walk.

First time in Stockholm”
This was my first trip to Stockholm, and this hotel was perfect for my trip. It was about a 10 minute walk from the central bus/train station and very easy to find. It is only a 15 minute walk to the old town (where the royal palace is) or to where the bus/boat tours start from. The room itself was fairly small, but was all the room I needed as a single traveler. It was very clean and had a single bed, desk, TV, end table and closet. I had a nice view of the park and the room was quiet. All in all a great place.

Central but quiet”
It is a valuable stay. Same as most of hotel rooms in Stockholm, it is not big. But the room is cozy and clean. Stockholm is not a large cozy, it is walking distance from hotel to station, museum, old town. The park in front of the hotel keep a fresh air.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The price is decent and the location is next the to pedestrian street of Stockholm. The room was not huge, but a decent size. Staff were able to help us whenever we had some questions. I would stay here again for sure.

Excellent location - tiny room”
Stayed there for 3 nights. Excellent location, close to the city center, 5 mins from the main metro station, 2 mins from the main shopping street. Quiet, but not soundproof from the next door rooms, I was next to the elevator, 1st floor, with a courtyard view. Very good bed, clean, cozy room, just very small (only a couple of hangers in the entry, no wardrobe and the suitcase did not fit the support for that purpose so I had to use a chair. Very basic bathroom, but you have a bottle opener on the bathroom wall as well as a squeegee. Plug and charger station on the bed. Friendly and helpful staff, good buffet breakfast.

Wonderful week in Stockholm”
staying in a room that with a 3 windows 180 degree full park view for a week, we were impressed the beauty of stockholm every morning we woke up. The view was very nice and it was really enjoyable to have a garden view. It is a small 2 person room but the bathroom was spacious. though there is some mistaken arrangements on my last day at hotel, we still recommend this budget hotel strongly

a very good choice”
Very clean rooms and reasonable price. It is a bit far to walk from the train station if you have some heavy luggage but the location itself is very nice. The rooftop view of Stockholm from the breakfast room is unforgettable.

Very nice hotel”
This is a very nice, quiet hotel. It is approximately a 10 minute walk from the central bus/rail station and 5 minute walk from the nearest subway station. From the hotel, there are three 7-11 stores within a three block radius and well as numerous eateries and cafes.Stockholm old town is approximately a 15 minute walk, or a short subway ride. Our room was for three people and had two single beds and a cot, all three of which were very comfortable. One of the nicest things about the hotel is that there is a very nice breakfast included. I would definately go back, since the value is excellent for the price.

Good hotel for business trips”
The Tegnerlunden Hotel is a building made with precast concrete slabs. It is well located in a nice area. Opposite the hotel there is a park, thus a very quite area. The people of the information desk are friendly. The service is good. The room (double bed) was very small but had a nice furniture. Breakfast is served in the 6th floor with a nice view.

I had a good stay here. Booking a single room, but upgraded to double. The room is clean and practical. The hotel is close to a park, yet very close to the city center. You will hear the birds singing which is nice. Standard breakfast. Nothing to complain.
