Nice Boutique Hotel in the heart of Yangon”
Hotel@Yangon Heritage was a good surprise for us. Located in the centre of Yangon City it was very convenient to walk around the busy streets and only a few mins walk to Bogyoke Market & Yule Pagoda. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable but our room which faces the main road can get a little noisy because of traffic (was acceptable to us and we did sleep very well). We had no water kettle but upon request the Hotel staff happily put one in our room. The restaurant & bar was on the 4th floor and we only had breakfast there but the food was good. All in all this was a good hotel to stay in. We definately would stay here again

Beautiful hotel in a great location”
We spent our first night in Myanmar at the Yangon Heritage before heading north. The hotel was very well located near the Sule Pagoda. The building has recently been refurbished and was pristine, with nice decorative finishing touches. There was plenty of room for us and our luggage. As elsewhere in Myanmar, the bathroom was a wet room, which was well kept. The hotel had it's own fridge and we were left fresh water. The bed was comfortable and we slept well, although the traffic noise could be heard through the windows. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they helped us with our bags, arranged taxis for us, and gave us restaurant recommendations. We were leaving for the airport early the next morning, so the staff very kindly prepared us a breakfast of sandwiches and fruit and gave us water to take with us for the journey. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel in old building ”
We booked the hotel stay for 2 nights during our trip to Yangon. The location of this hotel is excellent with walking distance to many eateries and some tourist attractions, such as Sule Pagoda, Rangoon Tea House Cafe, Chinatown, etc. Alternatively, GrabCar service Is available in Yangon but only cash payment is available. But need to take note that traffic jam in Yangon city is quite common. We GrabCar to airport early morning at 5am which only cost us Kyat 6,900 per trip. We had early schedule and requested for breakfast box which the receptionists were happy to make arrangement for us. Simple breakfast box with sandwiches, fruits and mineral water was good enough for us to start our day early. Staff were attentive, friendly and willing to help. The interior design of the hotel is quite beautiful with many interesting artefacts and displays. Room door and toilet door are traditional wooden door which is very interesting. We stayed at 3rd floor where there is a sitting corner for guests to read magazines, newspaper or relax. The only setback is that the hotel doesn’t not have elevator, hence not suitable for travellers with huge and heavy luggage as the staircase can be quite steep. However, it was not a problem for us since we travelled light with hand carry bag. We enjoyed the stay very much and would recommend this hotel to travellers with small luggage.

Stylish hotel in bustling downtown Yangon”
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our trip and liked this hotel a lot. It is not for the faint-hearted though, I should say, with its super-steep stairs which almost feel like you are climbing up or down a ladder, LOL. We liked the room, the staff and the little breakfast/bar on the top floor. The location allows for a lot of exploring on foot as you are close to many attractions as well as restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately there was some major road construction going on immediately in front of the hotel this March (2017), meaning stepping outside you were greeted by the sound of sledgehammers often times ... aside from the typical craziness of Yangon street life! Nonetheless I would stay here again, because while in the hotel none of it was bothering us and it was a great hotel.

Beautiful building”
Lovely old building with character, very clean rooms and good service. The hotel is right in downtown Yangon, and the staff are helpful. The only downside is the steep wooden stairs, beware if you have heavy luggage or old legs.

Nice botique hotel, great location”
If you don't mind a hotel with no lifts, this is a good choice. Charming hotel in an excellent location (near Sule Pagoda, Yangon Railway Station, and a couple of malls in the area). Nice and helpful staff. Really good breakfast.

Affordable, clean and great service”
Great location, reasonable price and good service. I booked the room with breakfast and I enjoyed the breakfast set (not buffet). I definitely go back to stay for my next Yangon trip.

Little jewel in downtown Yangon ”
Someone recommended to me this hotel. I loved it: small colonial building, maintaining orIginal decor inside. You feel like in a lightly decorated museum. But appealing, not overwhelming. Choose a room on top floor facing the street. In fact your best choice is 302- very cute! I stayed in 105 - was ok- more space but no windows. Staff upgraded me to family suite (105). I am staying again on way back to Inle- this time in 302- not as nice as 301 but still great! Staff speaks English and is simply amazing! Will do anything to please the guests! The staff will go with me to street to negotiate price for taxi! And yes - nice terrace on top for breakfast. Breakfast very nice - limited but substantial. For this money you can't find better in downtown!

Excellent”
Some road noise compensated for by view of Yangon & its traffic. Bit miffed that restaurant menu had no prices. Beer a little expensive. A/C worked well. Breakfast good. Staff friendly.

Good Value - Good Location ”
I took a break in Yangon from my travels throughout Myanmar, this was a nice clean place to do it. The breakfast was very very good and included.

Good”
Billed as a heritage hotel, aside from the lack of lifts (necessitating a steep climb to the top floor), there is not much of a heritage feel to this hotel. Our grey brick room had no views and was distinctly musty. The bathtub had a shower, but no shower curtain, which seemed odd. Compared with other hotels we had stayed in in Myanmar, the room was small. On the plus side, the breakfast was excellent and the location close to Sule Pagoda was ideal for exploring the downtown area.

Good location, friendly staff, nice room”
Staff can speak English. They were friendly and helpful. We can walk to train station, Sule Pagoda, markets, 999 noodle shop. Room looks like what you see from the photos. There is NO elevator. Everything else was very good and we were happy for 1 night stay at this hotel.

Beautiful & cosy hotel”
Located in a renovated beautiful colonial building this hotel has a very central location, close to the Sule paya and Maha Bandula park. The room was very clean, hot shower worked perfectly well as did the airconditioning. Breakfast area is upstairs with view on the street, also nicely done. Breakfast was OK. Only minus was our room was at the front side of hotel so there's a lot of noise from the busy street outside.

Cute decor, excellent breakfast & location ”
Came here with 2 friends, stayed at HYH at the beginning and end of our trip to Myanmar. Loved HYH- decor was super cute, really nice breakfast room with excellent food (3 options to choose from), nice hot showers. Bed mattresses firm but slept very well. Staff at front desk very helpful in setting up taxis for us and overnight bus tickets. Also let me have late check out my last day when my flight wasn't until very late. Location was excellent for what we wanted to do, and easy to describe to taxi drivers due to proximity to more known landmarks (Sule Paya, Shangri-La Hotel). Able to walk pretty much all the places we wanted to go. Cute/cheap little bar next door. Would 100% stay there again if I return to Myanmar.

Exceptional”
The only downer about this hotel is that it's a walk up. Other than that, for a solo traveller, it's perfect. The staff are the best. If your room is fronting the street, it's a bit noisy plus the crows on the tree outside are a bit loud as well, but if you have earplugs or earphones, you'll sleep like a baby. Great boutique hotel.

First stop of Myanmar trip”
We reached hotel at 10am and we were allowed to enter the room. The room is comfortable and toilet is equipped with bathtub and hot water. Our room is at first floor and is facing the backlane, there had been people talking and noises bothering us all day. Breakfast is ok and staff are friendly. They are able to advise on our queries. Sule Pagoda is at walking distance of 5-10 mins and the famous restaurant 999 Shan Noodle Shop is also a stone's throw from hotel.

Very good stay, but attention to the road noises”
The hotel is very nice and the rooms are very confy. I had chosen a double on the main road, so it was my fault, and, how i could think it was impossible to sleep. It was not due to the traffic noise, but only because there is besides the entrance a bar or restaurant and there was people sitting and screaming in the road for the major part of the night. This was really a pity as the hotel is really nice, staff friendly and location is perfect!

Excellent”
No elevator, only stairs to go to the rooms. It's a heritage building so minimal modifications.
