Had to change room because of bed bugs and dirty sheets. The second room was a little better but the air conditioner dripped water the whole time in spite of multiple attempts by staff to fix it. If this is the best hotel in the Hpa An area, the whole sector needs a lot of improvement efforts.

the hotel needs a brush up. spider webbs in the bathroom and not clean floor. There is new competition in Hpa-an, which means that the owner needs to improve his services, otherwise clients run away to other and better locations.

Very bad staff and service”

Even though we have booked the hotel and fully paid in agoda in advance, upon arriving the staff did not provide us the room, keeping us waited for hours, and lying and not informing about the process. Even though we conformed the correctness of booking at 8am, and they agreed, we could not manage to receive the room from 2pm to 4pm, and we talked practically to all staff and all managers who were around. At 4pm we decided to leave and find another hotel. Thankfully the extremely bas business ethics exists only at Hotel Zwekabin and not with other hotels in the city. NOT recommended, due to the incapability of providing service and treating clients fair. They can ruin you well-planned holiday.

The staff is awful there. Between the female manager who is really not nice and very unclear about what she says or not and makes you pay more than planned and the staff who try to rip you off when you ask for a motorbike trip to the center of the city...Please avoid this hotel. Breakfast is really basic. Double beds are not available in premium rooms which is not really nice when you go as there as a couple. If you want a hotel out of the city, Thiri Hpa An is way better for the same price. The staff is great there.

good location, bad restaurant”

The hotel is in a very nice location near the Swekabin mountain and it is lovely to get up very early in the morning for a walk. But maybe because of its out of town location the food in the restaurant is below standard, especially for a 3 star rated hotel. Also the rooms are not very clean.

A characterless motel”

Unappealing overpriced hotel built and managed by outsiders with no consideration of its potential for contribution to Karen State's economy or culture (no local decor or destination information). Mediocre breakfast (no milk/cereal, poor quality Myanmar breakfast, only banana as fruit), poor bathrooms (no shower curtain, dirty, hot water didn't work initially which is apparently not unusual for this hotel).

Peor imposible”

Creo que es uno de los peores hoteles en los que me he alojado. Sucio, mal mantenimiento, pasividad por parte de la gerencia para solucionar problemas. Le dejamos incluso una al manager exponiendo todos los problemas de la habitación y no se ha dignado ni ha contestarnos. Muy mal y no se lo recomiendo a nadie.

Non accueil et personnel charmant, chambre agréable et salle de bain avec eau chaude (souvent rare au Myanmar). La vue sur le mont Zwekabin et les champs est agréable. Cependant l'éloignement excessif de Hpa-An rend difficile les déplacements. Table moyenne.

Tolles Hotel”

Insgesamt empfehlen wir das Hotel, da die Stadt, so schön sie auch ist, sehr anstrengend ist. Das Hotel selber ist total sauber, die Zimmer luxorisos und sehr groß! Das Personal ist toll und tut alles einem den Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen! Lage: Das Hotel selber liegt etwa 6 km außerhalb der Stadt, so dass man immer auf ein Taxi angewiesen bist. Das bekommt man allerdings für 1500 k einfach organisiert (ein Motorrad auf den man hinten Platz nimmt). Insgesamt also ist auch das nicht wirklich schlimm.

Отличный отель, великолепный завтрак (шведский стол). Живописная природа вокруг, непосредственно рядом с отелем огромная вертикальная скала, очень красиво. Из номеров вид на гору Звекабин, на вершине которой светится пагода. Сама территория отеля ухоженная и красивая. Интернет средненький. Напор воды в ванной средний. Особенность - отель расположен на окраине Хпа-Ана, рядом с отелем нет ресторанов и магазинчиков. Наши гиды сразу об этом нам сказали, и отвезли в ресторан в самом городе, потом отвезли обратно. По ценам в отельном ресторане не скажу, не смотрели. Зато приимущество расположения - тихое место, хотя рядом и дорога. В общем для путешествия по Мьянме на автомобиле и однократной ночевки вполне хороший вариант. Бассейна в отеле нет.
