This intimate hotel is centrally situated 50 metres from Visby’s harbour and about 5 minutes’ walk from the popular shopping street, Adelsgatan. It offers free WiFi and cosy, bright guest rooms. The basic style rooms are decorated with a nautical theme and feature a TV. The private bathroom has a shower and hairdryer. All have a flat-screen TV. Stenugnen Hotell is located inside UNESCO-listed Visby’s medieval city wall. Part of this wall can be seen in the hotel’s breakfast room. The breakfast buffet includes a variety of choices, such as freshly baked bread. The Destination Gotland Ferry Terminal is a 10-minute walk away. Staff will gladly recommend area restaurants and attractions.

During the period 13-26 July, guests under the age of 28 can only check in if travelling as part of a family. Additional guests of 13 years and older can be accommodated in extra beds for SEK 360 per person per night. Lovely Hotel but not so smooth”
This hotel is really lovely; however I found many problem, the reception was not open all the time, we arrive hotel in the evening, and found the door locked, there is a sign on the door instructed us to call to certain number, but nobody answer the phone! luckily that one hotel customer just came back from dinner, and they openned a door for us. On the reception table we found key envelope of our room, so we had to go find the room by ourselves, a really uncomfortable experience. But for the next day everything was perfect.
