"i choose the murrayfield at random as i needed a one night stopover and somewhere near the airport (about 20 mins in a car) and i wish i had longer. the room i was given on the first night was lovely with a double bed and all the amenities you need. i had dinner in the bar, very nice and great value.. the scottish breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was huge. my experience in the murrayfield was so good i spent the last night of my visit to scotland there again and was given a room in the new refurbished murrayfield house which is absolute luxury, i am not sure what stars this is but it would have to be 5... the room had everything from the big tv screen inside the mirror (very clever) right down to the complimentary dram of whiskey. i loved it and again unfortunately only one night, i will be recommending tis hotel to everyone visiting edinburgh."
