"Stayed here while attending a show at the nearby Festival Theatre. Hotel is immaculate and in a perfect place for accessing the theatre and the many bars and restaurants in this part of the city. The check in was slick and friendly and the rooms are modern with all you need for a short break. We had the pre theatre menu in the hotel and th food was excellent with service to match. We also had a few drinks in the bar on our return and again th staff were really friendly. The included breakfast was buffet style and all you could wish for was provided, with a great selection of vegetarian items too. All in all a great value hotel in the perfect location for our needs. "This hotel has good location, very near to royal miles, royal college of surgeons, university of edinburgh, festival theatre etc. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are generally clean and up to standards, even though a bit small. The hotel has a 24-hr resturant and bar which is conveneint, but the food after late night is selected choices only and were probably made from microwave (personal feeling). Breakfast is ok, you can always go to the cafes nearby for breakfast if you want."
