"My stay at Ten Hill Place was very satisfying and enjoyable. This hotel is in a very convenient location (imho). Near to quite a few different eating establishments as well as located near some ‘tourist ‘ spots like the castle, Holyrood and the Royal Mile. The hotel staff was overall very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The one negative for me was that the living room rug had water damage because the shower ‘glass’ did not close all the way, hence water was going on the the bathroom floor > rug."

"This place was amazing and not what we were expecting when we booked a hostel at the price we paid! It was decorated lovely, it was clean, the staff were helpful. There is a great locker/luggage area which came in handy. There is a really nice big bar with cheap drinks. The rooms are small but clean and have storage. The location was the best part about it, just off the Royal Mile in the middle of everything! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Edinburgh. Friends of ours stayed in a hotel around the corner and paid 3 x the price and the only difference was the view from their room!"

"Staff are friendly and helpful. They are willing to share with us the attractions nearby. Also, it is an unforgettable experience for staying in a historic building in Edinburgh. Also, it is very cheap and the location is very good that it is near to most attractions. The kitchen is very large that it was not crowded even when there are many people in it. Also, they provide us free coffee, tea and chocolate and necessary cooking equipment. I have met so many nice travellers and we all had a good time here. The common area is nice and cozy that allowed us to chat happily. They also hold different activities to gather travellers making this living experience a memorable one. It is probably one of the best hostels I have ever stayed! "

"Amazing location and very good rooms with good facilities. Very good for couples . A bit over kill for solo travellers The apartments above 3rd floor don’t have lift access so carrying heavy luggage is a challenge . Also the wooden door outside lift don’t close smoothly. Luggage room is dark and light goes on a bit late . They won’t come to make your room till you call. Overall good deal of money spent but just a bit short of wow "
