"Pros 1. We got it much cheaper compared to any other option nearby. 2. Given the price we paid, we found the facilities at this hotel to be quite good. It has an AMAZING location. 3. Clean rooms, very comfortable bed, decent size bathrooms although rooms were a little smaller 4. Good TV and Wifi access was quite good as well Cons 1. It is an low/mid budget hotel - not a 4/5 star hotel 2. Apart from bed (New and comfortable), carpets/chairs/table in the room were quite old."

"Our most recent stay was started by the warm reception from what we consider to be the most thoughtful front desk staff. She went above and beyond and even gave us couple of free bridge to bridge cruise tickets. Then everythihg just seems to fall into place and the stay was more pleasant than what we expected. We will definitely stay in this hotel in the future. If Agoda can negotiate a price that would include breakfast, that would provably even better. This hotel is just accross the street from grocery, half mile from Ghirardeli square, less than a quarter mile from Fisherman's Wharf, and the best thing is this hotel is reasonably priced."

"Just realised I hadn't reviewed this hotel from November last year. It was fantastic. The rooms were relatively new and clean, staff friendly and vibrant. Not food on the premises, but this didn't matter. Allowed to bring in your own and own booze too. The best location ever, only one block from Pier , restaurants, shops, transport you name it. We had an early morning wake up with a car horn, I rang to check if we should be evacuating, not complaining, next minute we have free breakfast next door. Yummo. The price was great at the time as they were coming out of renovations and looking for bookings. Hence, my title. But if you can afford the $$$, then stay here for the location. Photos show exactly how good this place it."

"the hotel consists of 3 properties with a 150-200yd walk from check in if you are allocated a room in the "Beach building" (by far the best}We got no help at all with our luggage as it appeared too much effort for them to even offer. That said it was the only downside to our stay-the rooms were well presented and housekeeping was excellent.Right on the wharf with good access to cable cars, trolley buses and all the cruise activities etc-a great place to base yourself"
