We stayed in a couple of hotels in San Francisco and area during our trip there. The other hotels were way more expensive than Bay Landing and half as nice. The lobby was beautiful and the staff was warm, welcoming and helpful as soon as you walked in. The rooms and beds were clean and beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic. I think we would stay in this hotel again, even if we had to rent a car or take cabs to tour around San Francisco. First choice!

Very nice hotel. Room was spacious, bathroom had nice facilities, and more importantly it was clean! Staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Two downfalls are that the carparking fee of $25 per day is quite steep as there is no other place to park within the area and the other downfall is that the hotel is quite far from San Francisco city. Nevertheless, the hotel is really nice and definately worth the money. I would still rate it 4-5/5.

I stayed here for a night at the end of a trip. So glad I picked it. Hotel shuttle from the airport was easy and had fast check in. Room was far more spacious than I was expecting. Bathroom was tiny but not spending hours in there so doesn’t matter. The bath was lovely though. The staff were very friendly and polite. The menu at the restaurant was varied and all looked delicious. Will definitely stay here again if in San Francisco.

Business Suite is great size with conference room table and whiteboard (with dry erase pens!). Overall the room itself is clearly not new -- loose face plates on the power outlets, loose handles on drawers -- but serviceable and clean. Kitchen had full sized refrigerator with freezer, microwave, stove/oven and mini dishwasher along with all the plates/utensils, etc. you'd need -- even a lettuce spinner! Extra closet, nice sitting room with tv visible from conference room table. As close to staying in an apartment as a hotel can be. No nearby grocery store, though, that I could find. I had brought my own food and drinks due to special diet so it was very convenient for me. Free breakfast had pancakes, frozen breakfast burritos, fresh bagels, various cold cereal options, instant oatmeal, packaged muffins, fresh apples and bananas and fruit cups along with regular and soy milks. Double sink bathroom with shower and tub. I was very comfortable.

Being an old hotel is not always a bad thing in a high tech city like San Francisco. The rooms and bathroom are much bigger than the normal room. But things like WiFi can be slow. There is also lots of paid parking if you drive. The check in and out is efficient and staffeta are friendly. Food is not great but Ok. This hotel has an airport shuttle so it is also convenient for those coming from airport. But once on hotel, there isn't much activity just outside the hotel.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were happy we chose it. It's a short shuttle ride away from the airport and conveniently located within a 5 minute walk of the Milbrae BART station. This made getting into downtown San Francisco easy, despite the close to 30 minute trip. Something to keep in mind if visiting for a longer period. The room itself was comfortable and the restricted access to the rooms made us feel safe. The breakfast was just enough to fill us up in the morning. There are also drinks and snacks available for purchase if need be and stores located nearby. This is the perfect affordable hotel for a short visit. I'm happy the hotel management has paid so much attention to the details. If the management does read this, I would like to say, please consider real plates and cutlery for the breakfast area instead. I did feel bad having to throw the used plastic cutlery away after breakfast. I will definitely be coming back again the next time I'm in San Francisco.

The Double Tree at SFO is a nice place to spend a long layover. With easy access via the airport shuttle, it's very easy to get to and from the airport. This means you can easily take the BART into San Francisco from the airport and get back to the hotel with easy. The rooms a spacious and comfortable, especially the bed. Would definitely stay here again if I have a day layover in San Francisco.

Toiletries are provided except toothbrush, toothpaste and shave. Free coffee and tea at the lobby. There's a nearby 24-hour IHop. There's Popeye's across the street and a Chinese buffet restaurant right beside the hotel. The vending machines inside the building are really helpful for quick snacks any time of the day. This is more of a hostel so don't expect 5-star hotel amenities. But the bed's comfortable enough for a good night sleep. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Near the SFO airport and there's a hotel shuttle that can take you there.

Quick take: Aloft San Francisco Airport, located in Millbrae, gets a solid "A" for what it offers. It is geared towards a nomad who is generally demographic 20-50s who is attracted to a hip modern vibes and decor. Cost varies but most should be able to score a night here for $150 or less. Great for solo travelers or families as well. Some pluses to add: the lounge area is large, plush and super comfy. XYZ bar is close by for a drink or to socialize. Minuses: It is located off the main stretch, so walking out to get a bite or to shop is not ideal. Call for Lyft or Uber or BART transfer, which may or may not come so swiftly. In addition, the refreshments and meals at the on-site cafe are super pricey, more than what the should be , even for a mid-range hotel. Otherwise, Aloft serves as a top choice for San Francisco for affordability combined with overall value.

Radisson Hotel provides free airport shuttle to and from San Francisco International Airport. Very convenient for us with early flight out of San Francisco the next day. The room was very cozy and was good size too. The beds were amazing with electronic sleep number where you can adjust the softness of the mattress electronically. Bathroom amenities were complete except for toothbrush kit. In our floor was Ice vending station and soda vending machine near the elevator which makes everything convenient. The reception was friendly and very accommodating.

When the going gets tough, only the tough gets going - it surely depicts the flighters like Westin hotel. With the COVID-19 situation worsening, many flights are cancelled and hotels closed, leaving the travellers desperate. For the whole week prior to my date of travel, I was extremely nervous that I will have no place to stay between flights. Then I received a letter from the hotel group CEO, stating that Westin will stay open. By the time I arrived, it saddens me to see the empty hotel with closed restaurants and single-digit guests. I realize how hard it is for a hotel to stay open at a time like this - thinking about the daily costs with barely any income stream! It shows the nobility of a hotel - they do put their guests in front of their own profits. For that, I solute to Westin - they have won my respect and loyalty! Westin is like a trustworthy old friend - they might not be the coolest, but they are the kind that will support you when you need it. I love them!

I have stayed at embassy suites sfo waterfront hotel many times in the last 10 years. This was my favorite place to stay until 3 years ago, when i asked front desk staff why my room was so hot no matter how cool i set the thermostat in my room. I was told that the airconditioning system did not work well and there were no plans to fix it. I stayed at embassy suites again march 9-12 and asked again about the airconditioning system. No repairs and no plan to repair. Again my room was uncomfortable. I fixed the problem by staying at the crown plaza just up the street from embassy suites san francisco waterfron hotel. Airconditioning worked great, two real beds in the room, ose to tje airport and cheaper than embassy suites. I will not stY again at this hotel until they fix their aircondtioner. I dont think they will as fromt desk staff told me management forbid them to talk to guests about the problem

I stayied at the Red Roof Inn hotel for three nights. I must saying i am really satisfied for all there. The personal was helpfully and courteous, good food at the restaurant and cheap. About my room, i must saying everything was okay, the internet connection worked good for all the time i was there. No noisy on the night. Plus, is near at the airport, good for transfers because there is a shuttle bus service. There is also a bus to go to the shopping malls in Burlingame, restaurants and you can get the train to visit San Francisco.

The hotel provided everything we needed - a stopover for a few days in a convenient location. Ten minutes' drive from SFO airport, ten minutes' walk from San Bruno Caltrain station (for a trip to San Francisco taking 20 minutes and costing $3) and five minutes' drive away from a variety of local restaurants and eateries, we were never far from what we needed. The room was clean and very well appointed, and breakfast was satisfactory. All of the staff members we dealt with were excellent - I needed a package held for me, and they were more than happy to oblige. Altogether, an excellent hotel for travelers wanting all the convenience of San Francisco and its airport without the price tag to match.

I would recommend this place for anyone who needs a large, clean room not too far from Stanford University. There's even a well-maintained pool, if you have any extra time in the afternoon. There's also a Stacks (like an upgraded IHOP or Denny's) right next door. Although I didn't have time to go there, it definitely seemed convenient and popular among locals. The hotel even has WiFi that is fairly reliable. The only things I didn't like were that, when driving from the south by car, you have to make an unprotected U-turn (not that big a deal, though). You also can't see the parking lot from your room. Overall, though, a solid value for the money.
