"The hotel was centrally located, it's a 10 minute walk from the main train station. It's close to Chinatown and the Bull Ring. Staff were professional and friendly. We had a very good rate from Agoda and was the best value for money hotel we have stayed at during out 3-week honeymoon in Europe."

"This is a good hotel. Distance from New Street station is fantastic but its a shame the surrounding area is so grubby and run down. The welcome and checking-in was warm and professional. The room was very good, a little cold though. No matter what I tried to do with the thermostat, nothing seemed to change this. I did mention it when leaving the hotel. I should have said it during my stay to be honest. One of the main reasons for booking this hotel, apart from location, was its gym. I was hoping it wold be a good one and one I would expect to be in a 4 star hotel. But it was awful and useless. 6 dumb bells, 2 running machines, 1 rowing machine. There were 4 people working out in the room and that was over crowded. If someone was using the dumb bells, you had no chance unless you wanted to be hit in the face by one. It was the worst gym I have ever seen in a 4 star hotel. I did speak to reception about this and they said it was going to be refurbished, no date was given. This was the only down side to it and dont want it to over shadow what is mainly a good hotel"

"We stayed at Jurys Inn for 3 nights. The room was spacious and we had two double beds - the pillows, mattress and duvet were very comfortable. There is also roadside parking up to 8am the next morning, and the hotel has a paid car park too. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay at the hotel."

"This hotel is conveniently located near the city center. The rooms are new and clean, the staff very helpful. The major problem is that the room is completely empty: no table, no chair, no closet. In fact, there is not a single table in the whole hotel. I had to go to a restaurant to do some work with my laptop. Good place to stay if you are on vacation, not if you need to work"

"This is a comfortable hotel in an upmarket central area. I've stayed several times and love it. Be aware that you have to buy coffee; it is not free (although you get free bottled water). Many rooms have no windows - it is only a few pounds extra to book a room that has one, so I always do. Bloc is fantastic value for the standard - bed, towels, monsoon shower, wi-fi and climate control are all excellent. "
