It was on the 4th floor of a block and a bit difficult to find but well worth the effort. Its opposite the university, set back a bit with an entrance by code and intercom through a gate to the right of a small café, up a passage and a small lift or stair...

This was our serving visit to this hotel and it was even better than we remembered. It's a great location to explore Naples, a short taxi ride to and from the airport (fixed price if you all for it, 22.50 euros). 5 minutes walk into the historic centre of Naples, an easy stroll to the harbour and lots of great places to eat nearby. The hotel itself is clean with good ...

The Maison Degas felt too much like a relative's home, especially with bad decor and a strange cooking smell in the kitchen. If you are not expecting hotel environ then you won't be disappointed. It certainly was not a boutique hotel. Seriously, it was like I visited a friend's aunt's home -- very lived in. On the other hand, the staff were superb!
