Hotels near Phap Lam Pagoda

Booked the Suite Room. Room was big and clean. Even though the room was facing the main street, the noise couldn't really be heard. Hotel staff were attentive and thoughtful. They noticed my girlfriend's Birthday, and prepared a cake to surprise us. (Really appreciate it.) The only down side was that when I asked to extend my stay by another night, the rates offered to me by the hotel was much higher then the price from agoda. Staff insisted that direct bookings through the hotel are much cheaper(Even though I showed her the Agoda app price). I ended up doing my booking through Agoda and requested to keep the same room. Other then that, really enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

I came with my Wife to Danang for Ironman race on 9th to 15th May 2018. The race hotel is at Hyatt Regency resort but my Wife prefer to stay in city area so that can for shopping so she chosen Vanda hotel in the middle heart of city near to dragon bridge. She booked 5 night for total S$400 & is really worth it ! Due to I have a huge bike box & 2 big luggage she booked a airport travel 6 seaters taxi cost $80 from Airport to Vanda hotel fees pay to hotel. We Were Serve with welcome drink, the check in is fast we reach at 11.30pm & our room is ready for us. By right for hotel check in time is 2pm, the front desk staffs was friendly. Always greeted with smile. The bell boy is very helpful he will press the lift & floor we stay for us , taxi is always waiting in front of hotel whenever u need a taxi the bell boy or front desk lady will walk with us to taxi & tell him where we wanted to go. We also serve with a basket of fruits in our room, our room is surprisingly clean, looked new bed are very comfortable with strong aircon & strong wifi, every evening 5pm hotel staff will serve a plate of nice cookies, Hotel Buffett breakfast is very nice & yummy every morning the foods is different with wide range of variety choices waitress is very helpful I order fired eggs & omelette from the chef she help me to bring to my table. We love the hotel breakfast & TOP view bar meal was very nice beautiful scenery especially in the nights relax listen to music with beer, as for the spa we did not try find is too expensive compare from shop outside the hotel management should consider to lower the price & provide hair conditioner in the toilet. Swimming pool is a bit small but is clean. Gym equipment is too limited. Aircon outside the room, in the gym & breakfast area is warm, during summer is hot is better to on higher to let your guests feel more comfortable. The room was clean and bright. Breakfast buffet with fair choice of food and the quality was up to standard. All staff were quite good in English so communication was not a problem at all. We arrived early in the morning (11am) and the staff arranged an early check-in, which was very good. Special thanks to Miss Lam Thi Cam Huong who helped me with great effort to solve the mobile internet connection issue. On our first night of stay, there were hammer and drill noise from upper floor at 3am. We spoke this issue to Manager Mr. Doug next morning and he frankly admitted that there were an urgent repair and made apology, and subsequently helped us to change to another room. My impression is, the hotel staff were genuinely care about the wellness of customers and were dedicated to help them to make the stay comfortable.

I booked 8 rooms at Brilliant Hotel for January 1 and 2, 2012 for our multi-family party of ~20 persons using Agoda. Below are my observations for the Brilliant Hotel: • Great location, on Bach Dang Street and riverfront, near airport (about 10-15 minutes) • Brand new, grand opening in December, 2012 • The rooms are large and brand, spanking new, even have the “new” smell • All room amenities are there – AC, phone, TV, small refridgerator, safe, hair dryer, wake up service, etc. • My wife and I actually got complimentary upgrade (without even asking) to a huge suite on 14th floor. It has a huge living room with sofa and chairs and even a bar area, followed by a large bedroom with a king bed, desk, closet, drawers, etc. There were 2 flat screen TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom on a half wall at the foot of the bed. • Our room has a stunning view of the river, which looked especially beautiful at night with the city lights • The bathroom is also large, with a large tub and shower system • Wireless internet connection for my laptop was good and fast • Very accommodating staff – both front desk and security / front door personnel • Check in was smooth. The front desk made photocopies of our passports but did not keep them, saying that we can have them back because the rooms have been prepaid via Agoda. However, they did require my credit card and put a temporary charge of 3 million dong on it for verification and security reason (for incidentals before check out). The reason for the large amount was because of the big booking for 8 rooms • As noted by others, the pool construction is not yet complete • The restaurant for breakfast on 2nd floor is very nice. Breakfast was very good, with hot western food, some Vietnamese food, and coffee and juices My wife commented that our room was the largest, best, nicest hotel room she has ever stayed in anywhere, and we’ve done quite a bit of traveling. We live in Vietnam and regularly come to Danang for business. We have stayed in dozens of hotels, but have to say Sanouva is the best in its price range. Well trained, professional staff that are obviously happy to work there; extremely clean, well decorated rooms; attention to the small details. The breakfast buffet was small but of high quality. We literally booked the room 2 hours before arriving in Danang as a quick random choice, but couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended!

We checked in a room that was on 9th floor , the room was clean spacious with modern design that come with a awesome view. we had great breakfast and good sleep everyday , their staff is extremely friendly and helpful . Everyone make us priority and assist us with everything that we needed .We booked a car to Hue City on the second day , the driver are so kind and friendly he even help us with our photography - thanks Suoang , thanks for the banh bot , not to forget the helpful Guest Relation Hoang Lam that give us alot of information about Da nang

It's difficult to find anything negative about the Centre Hotel. The location is excellent, the rooms are modern and clean and some of the top rated restaurants in Danang are within walking distance. What makes this hotel a truly outstanding place to stay is the staff. They are friendly, helpful and always smiling. I fell in love with them. The front desk booked us a tour to Sun World and the newly opened Golden Bridge. I was a little concerned at first was the price was less than half of what other tours charge and the others had less than stunning reviews. We had an excellent tour with guide, a buffet lunch and spectacular views. You are in for a special treat when you show up for the breakfast buffet that is included with your room! Coffee, juice, fruit, soup station, eggs cooked to order and an incredible selection of Vietnamese, Asian and Western dishes updated daily. There's something for everyone. And once again, the staff was incredible! Enjoy and don't eat too much!!!

We got upgraded to a river view one bedroom suite on a high floor- the views were magnificent, you can see both the river and the sea. The suite was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We loved the bath tub, the spacious bathroom and having 2 TVs. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in a hotel in Vietnam. Will definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel.

I came to Da Nang for a 3 weeks stay to visit my friend and his family. I booked the Avora for the first 2 nights until I could assess it's quality and value and to compare it to other local hotels in that area. There is no comparison. This is by far the best value for the money and I immediately booked the whole 3 weeks here. The staff makes me feels so comfortable and are so friendly. It feels like home away from home. One more thing. Da Nang is an awesome city. I love it.

I booked Happy Day Hotel simply for the location. It is located in the heart of Da Nang’s city centre, within minutes walk from top restaurants on TripAdvisor and a 5 minute walk from Han Market. It is a recover front hotel and you are able to see the Dragon Bridge from outside the hotel. The room itself was very simple. Had what a budget 2 star hotel would need. Doors on both front and bathroom were old and made a lot of creaky noises and were hard to shut. They were wooden and very outdated. The AC wasn’t cold enough. Staff and security were friendly and accommodating and let me check in at 8am luckily. Unfortunately the pictures on Agoda did not reflect the room, specifically the bathroom where the photos showed a glass window to separate the shower from toilet. This was not the case as the shower and toilet shared an open area.

The hotel is located above the most popular supermarket in Danang and across the road is ae large local market - perfect! We slept in the second night and missed breakfast. We wandered down about an hour later and asked the receptionist where we might find a decent place for breakfast. To our surprise and delight, they opened the restaurant and provided us with a cooked breakfast - it was delicious and the staff were charming and gracious - five stars! We also met the manager who was equally charming and eager to please - this is one of the few hotels where everything exceeded expectations.

This is the best hotel with greatest value. The hotel has everything for our group: bar, swimming pool, karaoke, spa ... The hotel is brand new, and super clean. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. They have a booking desk with providing best tour around at a good price. I would recommend this hotel if you want to be in the central of the city in a quite area. Thank you staffs, and will be back soon

I'll start with the 2 cons. First the location is a bit out of the way. It will take you about 10 minutes to walk to where the action is. For us this was not a problem as we walk everywhere. The 2nd con was there was a Kareoke bar next door that we heard very well. They would wrap it up by 9 though so it didn't bother our sleep. Otherwise the location was super quiet and peaceful. no car or walking noise at all. Otherwise this place was awesome. Our hostess was super friendly and helped us booked 3 great tours right when we first arrived. our room was very clean and the hot water and aircon worked well. The bed was stiff but normal for Asia standards. We tried the food at the hotel and the husband cooks it in their kitchen. The breakfast and supper were both excellent. We highly recommend this place if you can stand some minor walking.

our stay in hagl plaza was great, we dined in the restaurant and there was a variety of foods from different cultures. the meals were good value for money. the pool on level 5 was very well kept and the staff at the pool were extremely helpful with towels and drinks. our room was one of the best ive stayed in and was very inviting clean and modern, overall a very good experience. (just a bit of advice watch how the locals work through the traffic before trying it yourself)

This is a hotel I'll definitely come back to. Before we checked in, we didn't expect much from this cheap hotel. However, everything was better than we have expected. Though the room rate was low, everything was good. Room was clean and rather spacious. Staffs were friendly and efficient. Service was good. It's really value for money. Actually the location was very good, too. Within a few minutes' walk there was bus stop for taking a bus to Hoi An. And walking further ahead, there's a big local seafood restaurant that many locals eat at. Price was reasonably cheap and quality is good. Our only complaint was that it's too spicy. In addition, it's only 10 minutes taxi ride to the airport. Or, if you like, you can walk there in 30 minutes. I'll definitely come back to this hotel next time I come, and I'll definitely recommend it to anyone considering a hotel in Da Nang.

I travel with three family members therefore I booked two different kinds of rooms, the city view superior room is the best. It is spacious, clean, very bright by large windows. at night it offers wonderful view of Han river and the Dragon bridge. There is a very good seafood restaurant ( Madame Thoi seafood restaurant )and many local restaurants nearby. I will return and strongly recommend this hotel to visitors to Đà Nẵng.

This is a good hotel right on the river, a block from the best restaurants in town. It's clean and comfortable. Good bathroom, good tv, very good service. When I wanted to make coffee in my room, they volunteered to bring piping hot thermos of water every day. Very nice. Some reviewers complain that staff don't speak english, but it's not the case. There was always 1 person available who spoke english. Da Nang people really do not speak much english, so this place is actually better than average... Breakfast was ok. Mostly Asian buffet but they'll cook eggs for you. Very strong VN coffee. My complaints about this hotel: 1. the laundry was very expensive and not the best job 2. the towels are fairly new and nice quality, but they are Brown and Smelly because of the poor water quality in Da Nang. Hotel needs to add chlorine bleach when washing the towels.

What an absolutely beautiful hotel to stay. I can't thank the Manager and staff enough for their friendliness and helpfulness throughout my stay - nothing was too hard. Really beautiful people, I felt very very welcome. The hotel Manager Trang sat with me to go through my list of what I wanted to go see while in Da Nang. She highlighted their proximity to the hotel on a map which was fantastic. For the few things I wanted to see that were a distance, she organized a driver to take me to these locations and bring me back to the hotel at such reasonable rates I was impressed. I don't think I would have been able to go to these locations without her assistance, I am so grateful, they were really worth going to see. A very beautiful hotel, lovely staff and management, beautiful clean rooms and bathroom, extremely comfortable bed and a great menu to choose from. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend them. Nothing was too hard. Really very beautiful people.

Hotel is situated near shops and night markets, so its best for those into shopping and looking for cheap thrills. The hotel is relatively new and rooms are provided with basic amenities that will make your stay comfortable. Getting a taxi to go to other places is not a problem. Family rooms are very spacious with nice interior and comfortable beds which can accomodate up to 4 persons. Rooms are always maintained and cleaned. Delicious free breakfast are being served every morning. The hotel staff are very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Eventhough receptionist is not very well conversant in English, they can still able to communicate. Hotel helped us book a tour to Hue City even with a very short notice. Highly recommended hotel and high value for money

camillia hotel is suituated at acentral business district with lots of shops and restaurants arround. it provides rooms with beautiful and warm decoration fit for a five star hotel. the breakfast is a combination of east and west choice , one that is the best i have seen in vietnam. the front desk staff are so friendly that makes your stay there so enjoyable. i difinately will always stay at camillia hotel in hue.

The hotel is very close to airport, only 5minutes drive. I got upgrade room since I booked 2 double room but I got 1 family and 1 double room. The room is very clean, tidy, and furnished new looks. The breakfast is very awesome, many Vietnamese food available, many variants and everything looks delicious. If I don't concern with halal food, I would like to try the whole food, hahaha. It's also close to Dragon bridge, only 1,5km, and we walked to Dragon bridge at night, feel comfort and safety too. There are many café and restaurants on our way from hotel to Dragon bridge.
