"a lot of times booking online, sight unseen, is risky. i was particularly wary reserving my villa here because the pictures were too good to be true. but the price point was cheap for what was being advertised so i took the risk and booked 4 nights at son tra. best decision i made! the pictures on agoda really don't do it any justice - the villas are beautiful; large, spacious rooms with upstairs and downstairs, big bathrooms, and wifi throughout. on top of that, each villa also has its own private pool and most are right on the beach (which is a private beach)! the customer service is also very good here, the staff treated my girlfriend and i very well and were always helpful. on our second night they even upgraded us to a beachfront villa at no extra charge, which made our stay all the better! yes, there were some minor problems that have been mentioned in other reviews - you are very far away from everything and taxi rides will kill you, but from what i saw of danang that's not a huge issue. there was very little for us to do in the city aside from go to the beach - which was unnecessary as we had our own at the resort. there were also some minor wear and tear issues with the villas, but for what you pay v.s. what you get it's not a problem. for me, son tra was the perfect place to get away from everything with my girlfriend for a few days and just relax. i highly recommend staying here if you go to danang."
