"This was a modern hotel near the best parts of the city. The old, crumbling buildings that provide the history that you are looking for are right around the corner. This building is clean, guarded, and provides breakfast (and dinner if you want it) on their roof with great views of the city and river. I suggest staying here if you want some quiet time while still enjoying the city. Hotel Strand is down the road for some amazing cocktails too."

"best hostel ever stayed in! literally from walking into the hostel and stepping out from hostel after my stay was one of the best experience in a hostel. the price are affordable. the staffs were friendly and they are all young students. always smilling when they pass by you. they were so nice to help us with our bags right to the end of the road where taxi was located. the breakfast is more than enough (hey, it's a hostel that has breakfast, how great is that). and the toilets, omg they were clean! so comfortable to shower and they provide towels too! the designs are simply in black and white. i like it. they bunk beds are huge, bigger than what i have always experienced. they even have thick duvets! you will not regret staying here. i would give them a 6 stars if agoda lets me."

"We went there just for one night to celebrate my birthday and it was remarkable. My wife requested to surprise me with something for my birthday and they decorated the room with real roses and balloons. They even brought birthday cake with my name on it and it was really delicious as well. I was amaze by their service and hospitality. Sunset hour at teak bar is the best and the band was playing really nice music. Breakfast was just ok compare to other five star hotels. We had excellent stay and i will definitely come back to Pan Pacific very soon."

"I stayed for 3 nights and I really enjoyed my stay here. When I arrived I was a bit daunted at the thought of having to carry my bags up a few flights of stairs to the reception, but before I could even think about picking up my case a young fellow arrived to carry it up for me. Check in was done by Nancy and she was very helpful and very nice. She gave me a map and told where all the interesting places were and how to get there. She answered all my questions and also booked my ticket for the boat trip from Mandalay to Bagan which went smoothly as I am writing this from there. The map the Guest House has is very useful as it contains the most popular tourist spots. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was simple but adequate. I would stay again next time I'm in Rangoon."
