Hotels near Tam Bac Lake

My family stayed at the family room, I would definitely stay again if I visit. Good things about the hotel -Clean, quiet, comfortable and very spacious -Convenient amenities -Very Friendly and helpful staffs -Close to the city center and shopping center -Great continental breakfast -Beautiful view of the city and lake -Clean outdoor swimming pool with city view :) Need improvement -May need to check on maintenance on facilities: if the tub drainage lever works, toilet flushes, water hose spray is not strong. -Beach towels and lockers need to be available for use. -A sign on the door on how to open the swimming pool door may be needed (There is a button on the left side wall that needs to be pressed to open the door) and you need to tag the room key card to open the door for exiting. Overall, a fabulous experience and stay!

We arrived at the hotel with such nice greetings from the staff. As the hotel knew the fact that we were newly wedded, they gifted us free upgrade to Luxury room. Needless to say how surprised and stunned we are, we thanked the friendly receptionists and proceeded to our room under the guidance of a doorman. The room gives a cozy vibe with its wooden interior. The bathroom is small yet fully furnished. Bedroom is lovely and minimalized with a big comfy double bed, a working table, and a chilling relax sofa. Though sometimes we still can hear the upper neighbor walking and the aircon is a bit cold to our liking (25°C is the highest temperature), we had a great night sleep. The breakfast was indeed a great feast. It is not everyday happening that you eat sushi to start your day. Because it is for breakfast, no raw fish was involved and yet the rolls were delectable. They have so many options for breakfast that everyone will be satisfied here: phở, omlette, cereal of several choices, samosa, croissant, newly toasted bread (3 types), sushi rolls, kimchi, miso soup, porriage, fried rice, toasted corn and tomatoes, yogurt, and fruits. Coffee is nice and many choices of tea are also available. Serving time for breakfast is long too, up to 10AM which is good for day sleeper like me. The swimming pool is outside at the ground floor. It is a pity that we came on a rainy day, but we managed to do a few laps. Depth us only 1.2m, enough for some chilling. The swimming pool is not too big, yet lovely for some leisure moments. On 2nd floor there is a lounge area where residents can chill down with a book. The bookshelf there is filled with international selections, from Japanese to German ones. The silence of the hotel and welcomeness of staff made our stay uncomplanable. Would love to revisit and recommend to anyone who has a big budget and would love some precious silence in a Vietnamese city.

staff could not do enough for us. we needed an early breakfast to catch the 7am hydrofoil to cat ba. they got all the kitchen staff up early, and packed us a "picnic" breakfast to take with us 6.30am. didn't ask, they just did it. the room was big and clean. the restaurant directly opposite the hotel, on the otherside of the vacant strip of land, was something else. after 3 weeks in vietnam it still shocked. i ate a plate of frogs, which were delish. take a photo of the menu. i still don't know what "fried cement" (its a main meal) really is??

I have gone to Hai Phong 4x now. This new hotel is by far the best I have been to thus far. Just opened in April, 2018, this hotel is very clean and all about service. I am delighted and extremely happy with my experience. I highly recommend this to all travelers. 1. Room is beautiful. 2. Brand new ammenities 3. View of the city is great 4. Gym is workable 5. Skybar and Spa was not open but definitely a try when I come back 6. Staff- FANTASTIC! great crew here.

We were pleased that we had chosen to stay at Classic Hoang Long Hotel, where we were warmly greeted upon our arrival. The reception staff were welcoming with bright smiles and help in getting us to our room. We highly recommend this hotel for its proximity to the Opera House and easy walking to other points of interest in Hai Phong. The breakfast meal was made fresh to order after a comfortable sleep in a Q bed in large room, prepared us for the new day. Thank you all of the team at Classic Hoang Long Hotel for making our stay so pleasant.

Just stayed one night, stop over before we went to CatBa Island. good location to the wharf. Very friendly and helpful staff, spoke good english,room was very clean and comfortable. complimentry drink on arrival. We had a very nice dinner with a great top floor view, the staff there were very nice. Good pool and gym. Breakfast was plentyful anything you wanted was avaliable, nothing was too much trouble, staff were very friendly and happy. Staff helped with directions and taxi next morning which helped us as taxi driver did not speak english. Take caution when taking taxi from airport to hotel. Make sure you take taxi drivers that have labled shirts and metered taxi,s. Vinasun and MaLing were very good and wont rip you off. We made the mistake of going with anyone and ended up with a non metered one so he tried to charge us a lot more and tried to take to other hotels not the one we were booked into. We had quite a lot trouble with him.we would gladly stay there again.

the experience was good considering i availed a discounted room. The room was always kept clean, orderly and smelling good. All my toiletries were constantly replenished. The food during breakfast has less variety but the taste was good. I love the baguette and strawberry jam. Staff were friendly though conversing in English i quite a task however they tried their best to cater for my needs. the hotel taxi was good, rates are ok and the driver is very courteous. the price of the beverages available in the room are cheaper compared to other hotels since they used local rates (vietnam dong). likewise price for additional services such as laundry are cheap. Nice view from my room and i find the hotel well secured.

Very central location in Haiphong. If you're luggage isn't too heavy, it is walkable from Ga Haiphong (the Haiphong railway station), about 5 to 7 minutes. Plenty of restaurants and comparatively simple outdoor eating and drinking establishments in the immediate area. Also walking distance to the Ben Binh (ferry terminal) - about 15 minutes - where the ferries for Cat Ba Island depart. The hotel doesn't pretend to be fancy, is a no-frills business traveller hotel. Choice of Asian/European style breakfasts. The room cleaning staff, while helpful and friendly, are seemingly unaware of how noisy they sometimes are. One day two of them were "chatting" while doing the rooms. One of them in a room at one end of the hall, the other in a room two doors down. They had the doors open so they could holler to each other. Mind you, the whole country has a much higher tolerance for noise than is the norm in Europe,North America and elsewhere in Southeast Asia. All in all, I deem the Bao Anh Hotel a very acceptable base from which to explore the city.

We stayed at this hotel in Oct 2019 for 3 nights (208 was our toom, I think). I rate this hotel 5 stars. Here are my rating reasons. Room: nice decor, simple but elegant Staff: From the front desk to the restaurant and the pool, all staff always greeted us politely with a smile on their face. They were eager to help us with anything we need. Kudos to his customer service. (My bad that I forgot to ask his name). I also wanted to acknowledge Miss Phuong (front desk), Charles Vu (bell person), Dang Ninh (restaurant), pool staff, and the housekeeping for their excellent customer service. Breakfast: Buffet breakfast had both Western and Vietnamese foods. It was not a huge buffet but enough to fill us up to start a day. Location: very convenient to walk to the restaurants and a super market around the hotel. From the hotel, you could walk to the train station for about 10-12 minutes. Haiphong was a good base for transferring to Halong bay and/or Catba island. Highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here with my sister for 4 nights, the hotel was nice, staff is pleasant but only one man speaks English. The room was clean but only when you ask them to clean it. We gave our clothes on laundry, and they said 30.000VND for everything, but when we checked out we had to pay more; 30.000 for each thing! We gave 60.000 and took off. Hotel is situated only 6 minutes walking from the main train station, and 10 from the city centre. There is also cable TV, if anyone is interested.
