We chose Lotte as it was out of the busy downtown area so we could relax which we certainly did. (Taxis are simple to get and cheap so taking a 15 min ride was no issue for us). Clean and spacious room with a nice view of the lake. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The complementary breakfast buffet is great, you will also be able to get a view of the pretty flowers on the patio. The gym need some improvement, it’s pretty small and the treadmills are pretty much all out of order.
I was well received by the hotel friendly staff. I was shown all the amenities in the room and use of safety box in the room. Room services were very good and amazingly fast. The bedroom was very clean. Bathroom room was clean too. Near the Inya Lake but 30 minutes from the City.

I think it's thoughtful to provide a torch and a zapper in the drawer next to the bed, a safe with digital lock, and a writing board with a notebook and a pencil on the bench. this is a new good place to stay in the inya lake area. no facilities but a nice room w flat TV . WiFi etc and plenty of good restaurants next door. if bed pillows and cover would have been of better (highest) standard it would have been top marks.
I would recommend SG Hotel, the staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Decent value for money and the location is pretty convenient for Inya lake, Myanmar plaza and Shwedagon pagoda. You won't go wrong here.

Great staff but location not convient. there was no restaurant nearby but there were plenty of street stalls around hotel. room was big and clean but no hot shower. there were night market along the road and it was interesting to look around. but market operated until early morning so may not be nice light sleeper.
