"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bed was ok - no quilt just a sheet and a blanket so it was a bit cold in early May. Breakfast was a bonus we weren’t expecting so that was a plus - Colombo (staff) makes a great coffee and was really helpful with direction to and from and bus stop directions. Was a little far from the city centre about 3km but ok to walk through the main streets they were very lively with lots of neighbourhood restaurants that were open past 11pm so we felt safe. Bathroom was basic and sufficient. Good room size. "

"So many opinions, so many variable needs. Opinion- dirty, no just a bit old but clean and functional. Close to the airport, true but I needed to get into Florence, 4.7km. If you are walking use the main road DO NOT use a GPS track through the park, at the end it goes through about 1 km of very dangerous narrow road. 2/3 of the staff were very good, manager was very helpful. Good breakfast, plus two reasonable restaurants within 300 metres. Only down side were the mosquitoes at night, get a spray from the manager. Not the hotel but in general, be very aware of pickpockets on crowded busses even hold your wallet in your hand while travelling. "

"Very nice hotel, it is like 20-30 minutes away from the city of Florence but there is a bus from the hotel that goes hotel-train station and also train station-hotel. Very helpful staff. My car's battery died while i was there and a very helpful Francesco (reception) stayed and helped me until 8am even if he finished work at 7am. Very nice price/quality ratio. One problem is that the bed was not a double/queen/king bed but was only 2 small beds that were together so there was a hole in the middle of the bed so it was not easy to sleep like that (we had a newborn with us). We requested to be moved to a double bed because that was wahat we booked online but we were told that most of the rooms are like that. The other problem is that the bus Hotel-Florence has only 29 seats while the hotel has probably 100+ rooms so you could find difficulties to get a seat (so have a plan B ready). "
