Amazing time at Paradise!!”
The best ever vacation , my wife and me had so far. We had a complete relaxed stay in a nature based, beautiful resort. Just absolutely best place to go for vacation at peninsular Malaysia. The wooden house we stayed was excellent . The resorts jetty were they serve free drink during sunset is completely awesome and panoramic. The small hood build to relax after bathing at beach also super cool. The staff are really friendly . Need to specially mention Resident Manager, Aruni and also her assistant Mike. They are very friendly and entertain our needs with smiles. Kudos to the other staff who were equally friendly too.. Hardly can see plastic at this resort, more environment friendly resort i guess. They are currently experiencing shortage of water due to no rain for 6 mths, so the pool was closed. Only downside of the whole experience is travel by ferry to Kg Genting Jetty. It can be tiring and testing our patience. Beside that, overall Amazing time at Paradise!!

Best Resort in Tioman (BY FAR!)”
Simply put, the resort is amazing in all aspects. The location is insane, mix of jungle with pristine beaches. The facilities are all well taken care of, with impeccable taste and dedication. Both restaurants provide a delicious menu with fresh food and awesome drinks. The staff’s incredibly polite and well trained, they take care of all your needs. Make sure to have a massage, it’s insanely good and relaxing. Best experience in a month of traveling Malaysia/Singapore/Brunei.

This was easily one of the very best experiences we ever had traveling together in terms of the resort itself, the way the place is run, the amazing people working there, food, drinks etc. It is so many small things that made it the perfect stay. We felt so welcome and enjoyed the friendly and accommodating service throughout our entire stay and will definitely come back.

Amazing location with luxury elements and amazing staff ”
This was my second visit at this resort. Everybody is just amazing, especially Aruni the manager and Rashid from Bangladesh in housekeeping. So friendly,helpful and always smiling. He really brings everything you need for a company like this!! Food amazing, drinks tasty and the sea cliff chalet is super beautiful. Nice clean Beach, will definetly come back again. Anniversary getaway ”
This place is a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is strictly private, only hotel guest can use its amenities and there are only 16 villas . Everyone knows your name and the hotel manager Zachary and Belle were the best host I’ve ever met in Malaysia. They always made sure special attention to details were given. Including amazing turn down service. The rooms were huge, private and well maintained. It has an amazing rustic charm yet still luxurious. My only regret was not getting the sea facing villas as they were fully booked, but my jungle luxe sarang was amazing in its own way, complete with an outdoor jacuzzi. Will definitely visit again .

Wonderful location and excellent staff”
Positives: I had a lovely few days here with my boyfriend. The staff really make this resort. A big thank you to Mike and Azida. They are really lovely and nothing is a problem. Delicious breakfast and the food in general is really good. Love the concept of the rooms built into the trees in keeping with nature and loads of wildlife. Constructive feedback: We both felt that the resort is overdue a renovation. It felt tired. Very worn wood in most places, wooden planks and nails lifting on boardwalks, jetty and welcome area needs a big tidy up - new thatching on roofs, painting and re-sealing all wood. Sea front wall is crumbling - I believe this is about to be fixed up. Contractors were starting this as we left. Likewise the rooms are comfortable but balconies and wood etc could do with a tidy up, replacement blinds & general spruce up. This is not to take away from the staff/lovely service, nor the fact we had a great time. But the price/quality ratio may disappoint some travellers.

Fabulous resort for rest & relaxation on older family holiday”
Mysrlf & 3 children in their late 20’s stayed here & loved it. We feel it was the best resort on the island. The staff cannot do enough to help you & are very warm, professional & helpful. All the little touches go a long way such as the free sunset drinks every night, free water & night cap in the room etc. If you’re looking for total R&R this is a fabulous place to stay. My only complaint was the Italian menu was very limited. The food was otherwise delicious, especially the Asian.

Slight improvements needed”
Very good overall, however the resort does not quite reflect the cost. Slight improvements are needed and attention to detail must be enforced. We really like the food and the hard working and friendly staff but we also noted overworked staff not fully engaged with guests. We believe management needs to consider extra staff during the breakfast time and around the beach cabanas as it felt like were not properly looked after. This would be in a 2 or 3 start resort but a 5 start resort should exceed a customer expectations and go the extra mile. Additionally, we felt like the boat transfer from the nearby Genting village to the hotel should be free of charge as boat is the only reliable a d easy accessible method of transport to the resort. We will be back

Expectations need to be managed after MCO interruption. This is the 3rd 4-5 star resort that we have visited in the last month,we have seen the negative impact as hotel/ resorts are trying to cope with new SOP and being understaffed. Location is truly beautiful and the small touches make it special, high tea, free cocktails, free whiskey in your room for a night cap. Food was excellent, fresh and very tasty all round. Staff is trying hard to please all, but difficult as they run at half the staff capacity than before. Wi- fi is none existent with no mobile reception if any networks. Some maintenance needs to be done to ensure continued safety of guests with the wooden steps and some attention is needed on the sanitation as toilets and drains had an awful smell that fumigated into room.

Not as good as expected”
Japamala is a high end place for mostly couples who do not like too much activities such as swimming/snorkeling/diving. Japamala is a quiet place where people sit around on lounge chairs all day long, reading or watching the ocean. The bungalows are large, beautiful but have issue. The A/C was not strong enough to cool up a large wooden unit. The A/C got overheated often (after running for close to 1 hour) and turned off automatically. Once the A/C power got low or turned off, it needed to be turned on again. As the bungalows are in wood, the A/C did not make the room very cool. In order to cool off the bungalow with low A/C, all window coverings needed to be close to prevent the sun to come in, making the room very dark. Paying a high price for the accommodation, I felt going on a tiptoe to make the A/C running. It was a terrible feeling for the guest to accommodate the room and not the other way around the room to accommodate the guest.
