“Relaxing Stay but Not Quite 5-Star Standard”
The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. We were also allowed to check in early, which was very much appreciated. The property offers many free activities and great wellness facilities, including a sauna and cold plunge. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the air conditioner in our room was very noisy and couldn’t be adjusted properly — even when set to 25°C, it stayed around 21–22°C and made the room feel quite humid. The breakfast buffet was below expectations for a 5-star resort. The selection of cold cuts and cheese was limited, and the atmosphere was chaotic with too many kids running around and shouting. We also weren’t informed that additional dishes could be ordered. We also tried the BBQ platter on the beach — the setting was lovely, but the chicken was unfortunately too dry. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with great facilities and service, but room comfort and food quality could be improved to truly meet the JW Marriott standard.
