Perfect stay in kalaw”
We loved this hotel !!! The location is perfect and only a quick walk to the centre of the town. The hotel is very pretty and super clean. Staff was helpful and very friendly. The bed was so comfortable too :-) We had a lovely breakfast. I just really liked the homely feeling we had immediately.

Serene stay in lush colonial setting away from the ”buzz” of Kalaw centre”
Helpful staff, nice garden, nice nooks and crannies to have a seat in throughout the garden. I absolutely loved the spacious rooms with crispy white linen. Also enjoyed the fresh air coming in through open windows. Very pleasant with the rooms being cool inside, as a contrast to the hot temperature (but still cool for Myanmar) outside. I see why one would like to retreat here, hiking in the near area and retreating for a relaxing evening in the serenity of the wonderful rooms.

Serene and classic get away”
I enjoyed the atmosphere so much I prolonged my stay. Loved the colonial buildings, the furniture, the crisp white bedding, the coolness of the room, listening to people living, rather than traffic. The hotel is set in a nice, big garden. The staff are helpful. The breakfast (only food I had) is good. If you want to give yourself a treat, this is where to go.

Excellent Experience”
I did not expect too much about this hotel. However the hotel room was clean and the building was decent architecture. The staffs are welcoming and hospitable. The environment was so cool and refreshing since we went up to Kalaw from Yangon(hot and humid). The breakfast was really good compare to other hotels in Myanmar. I wanted to book it again on the way back from Inle Lake. No even a single room left for the weekend. I wonder why~~~ !! I will definitely stay in this hotel next time.

Fabulous Hotel”
We overjoyed staying at this fabulous hotel. The breakfast was good (but not too much tho). We stayed at three different rooms at Acron A201, A215 and A208. I would say A208 is the best as its on the upper floor and centre while you can see breathtaking view from the bed. The mattress is really nice. The room have the heater so it will make you warm for sure. The hotel staffs are very attentive and polite especially receptionist karen girl who always welcome to each and every guests with never ending smile. The hotel is close to train station and 5 mins walk to maluca (crazy in portuguse) restaurant, amazing bar which is opened in Dec 2018. I will definately go back to kalaw and stay at KHH. Cant wait to go back as its probably the best hotel ever i stayed in my life.

wonderful hotel”
I've stayed just one day as booked kalaw treking but if i had time I would stay more days. It has good garden, atmoshpere and kind staffs. Breakfast is also good. I have stayed with a little boy at acorn building, it was a little noise(from the generator??) in the night, but overall It is good hotel to stay.

Very nice hotel ”
The atmosphere of this hotel was fantastic, you could really feel the past of this building, lovely surroundings. A trip back in time ! The rooms were very spacious. Just need a slight work on the noise insulation for the rooms in the mail building (windows and doors, as one could hear people in the garden or corridor), but overall we had a wonderful stay !

We made memories! ”
We were here for two nights, with young children and parents. The place is more than a 100 years old and It reflects that time zone perfectly. Beautiful vast gardens, organic plantations, old quarter charm, antiques on display and that bonfire to enhance the tranquility of those chilled nights. The food was extra ordinary, nothing less than a fine dining; loaded with flavors and presented with elegance. The staff caters the guests with personal attention. Rooms were spacious and clean as well.

Step back in time”
The two main buildings are colonial masterpieces. Rooms are cosy and classical. Breakfast and dinner were great. Main drawback during my December weekend visit was a marathon run was being hosted from the hotel, resulting in large numbers of people, late noise and hotel staff seemingly overwhelmed. Made it extremely difficult to have a quiet read in the beautiful gardens. But I presume this is not usually the case.

Front reception need proper customer service training”
Restaurant and bar staff are very professional with beautiful smiles. But staff at reception are grumpy and sometimes look confused and disorganized, especially the lady at reception.
