"We stayed two nights upon our visit to Yangon and were quite pleased with the level of service, the high quality rooms, the beautiful lake/pool/pagoda views, and the amazing breakfast buffet which served about everything one could wish for -- even Mohinga and Congee and beautiful fresh fruit. The only down side is the distance from the airport due to intense traffic at certain hours, but it's proximity to the Shwedagon and the wonderful market, right near Kandawgyi Lake is terrific. Be sure to check out the park with Kandawgyi Lake at sunset -- spectacular and often there is live music."

"After spending the first part of our holiday in a downtown budget hotel, this was our bit of luxury to end our trip. We had booked a deluxe room for just under £60 per night and were upgraded to the 6th floor as our air con was not working. The room was lovely and we had magnificent views of the Kandawgyi Palace and park plus the Shwedagon Pagoda shone brightly in the distance. The delicious and varied breakfast buffet and dinner was served on the top floor where the views were even better. They also had a Gym and Spa with half price treatments that was open until late. The staff were very helpful and even provided breakfast to go as we had to checkout at 4am. The park was a lovely hangout in the evening with bands performing live music with numerous restaurants and bars, it was nice to be away from the crazy hustle and bustle of Downtown. I highly recommend this hotel, worth every penny. Everything in this city is fairly wide spread so you will need to get taxis to a number of tourist sites, but the costs are minimal. "

"The Rose Garden Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to several sights, such as the Shwedagon Pagoda, the Kandawgyi Lake, the main railway station and downtown Yangon. My room was nicely aquatinted featuring traditional Burmese culture and styles and it had all amenities one could expect from a five star hotel. I particularly liked the small bouquet of fresh flowers. Another thing I like is the emphasis on environmental matters like shampoo or body lotion in elegant dispensers or city maps on recycled paper. Myanmar needs much more of that! It was nice to have a balcony, though the mosquitos that appear in the darkness can be annoying. The public areas of the hotel were also great so that I always enjoyed walking in and through the main hall. There is also a very nice scent in the public areas. WiFi is free and has always worked well. There is also a pool, but I didn’t use it. The staff was always friendly, polite, professional and helpful. They are all doing a great job. Joining the breakfast buffet is a good decision given the wide choice of warm and cold food as well as freshly prepared egg dishes and noodles. When coming back to Yangon, this hotel would surely be my first choice and I can only recommend it to other travellers. "

"This place is a true gem in Yangon. Totally quiet at night and the best service you could wish for! Room: We booked the smallest room but it was big enough for us. There could just be more hooks or wardrobes for your cloth. The bathroom was bigger than I expected and everything was very clean and made a high quality impression. Place: The Hotel itself is very nice and green and is like a little oasis in the big city. There is even a little chillout platform in a tree where you can hang out. As the road is very small and the surrounding very nice the place is very quiet. Service: We have to say thank you for being supported so nice by the people of cloud 10! Thanks to the support and the nice explanations of the cloud 10 team we discovered Yangon by taxi, bus and on foot and we got a lot of very good hints how to get around. Every wish we expressed was fulfilled and even more! We even could use showers and the nice chillout zone on our last day until we left late evening."
