    A fabulous apartment and an excellent base to watch the world go by and to explore the Amalfi coast”

    We arrived at La Luella just after sunset, its about 1hr - 1hr20 from Capodichino Airport (Naples) and were met by the owner Cristiana, who let us in and showed us all the amenities. She also sent us some recommendations for places to eat and let us know that she was available should we have any questions. The apartment is nicely furnished and has everything you need. Cooker, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, sandwich toaster etc.. Beds are comfortable and each room has full height double door/windows with shutters which really let in the light. We went in October, but for the hotter months, each of the bedrooms has aircon too. The apartment is in Marina Grande, which is a fishing village/port about a 15 minute walk from central Sorrento. Marina Grande is pretty self sufficient, with multiple restaurants, cafes, a small supermarket and a bar or two...There is also a beach and a beach club, if that is your thing. We used it as a base to explore the Amalfi coast. Most of the organised tours will pick you up, either from the apartment or from Piazza Tasso, which is a 15 minute walk away. All very easy. The apartment and Marina Grande itself have a really nice vibe about them. Relaxed, friendly and beautiful views. I did a lot of research before choosing La Luella, and it did not disappoint. It was excellent and an ideal place for us to stay in every way. (The attached photos are all pictures taken from the apartment balcony)

    This apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Sorrento! Clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped with everything you would need. Every room had a sea view making it extra special. The apartment is located in the fabulous Marina Grande near restaurants and only a short walk into town. Cristiana our host was extremely helpful throughout our whole trip, from sending us restaurant recommendations to helping us book trips to the Amalfi Coast and Capri! Our trip to Capri in particular was unforgettable and a very special experience! We really appreciated Cristiana’s help with everything ☺️ If you are looking at booking this apartment, do it!! You won’t regret staying in La Luella. We cannot wait to return again.

    A perfect place for a family vacation”

    The apartment is located right above the Marina Grande. Central location, 10 minutes walk from the city center. An amazing view can be seen from the balconies. The apartment is large, spacious and very clean. The kitchen is equipped. The host Christiana is very nice. We received an immediate and high-quality response to all requests even when we contacted late at night. The mattress is very comfortable. Although the apartment is located above the promenade, you can hardly hear the voices of the tourists, and this is thanks to the excellent sealing of the windows and doors. In short, a perfect family vacation
    Things I don’t like
    It is very difficult to find a parking spot . If you are coming with a car, it is very recommended to reserve a parking spot in advance.

    Fantastic apartment in a truly special location.”

    We were met as soon as we arrived and keys handed to us, also shown around the apartment with explanation of all facilities. Host Cristiana is so helpful, gave us loads of really useful information of things to do and see, plus helped us with travel from Airport to Sorrento which saved us money. Fantastic location with awesome views from the many balcony windows in the apartment of Marina Grande and Sorrento bays. Great fun watching all the sea activity every day. Brilliant location to stay and enjoy the restaurants at Mains Grande plus an easy 15 minute walk into Sorrento.
    Things I don’t like
    There is not a lot to dislike, it really is a fantastic appartment in a great location, a little pricey, but we had a great holiday here so can't really complain.

    We had an absolutely fabulous stay. The apartment was very spacious, clean, gorgeous views from the many balconies. The host was wonderful. My daughter is doing her study abroad at Sant Anna and it was 5 minutes from her. We loved our stay!
