“Great Last Minute Booking”
Due to the recent flooding that Hue endured, our driver recommended that we change our hotel because it’s located in the flood zone. I immediately went to search for an alternative hotel to stay at and when I asked the driver if La Vela Hue Hotel was on higher grounds, he said that it was so I ended up booking 3 nights in a family suite with 2 connecting rooms for my parents and brother and the Twin Luxury Suite for my sister and me. The hotel staff was very attentive, the rooms were clean and had all the amenities that we needed including an abundance of electrical outlets. Breakfast was excellent and served the best tasting banh bot loc that we had during our 4 weeks stay in Vietnam. The Vietnamese coffee was out of this world! I wished the weather was better so we could take advantage of the nice view from the infinity pool. Overall, this hotel provided great quality and service. If I’m ever in Hue again, I would definitely stay here.

“Beautiful Hotel — Wish We Stayed Longer”
We stayed at La Vela Hotel in Hue for only 2 nights, and it definitely wasn’t enough. The hotel is fantastic — a well-equipped gym, a beautiful rooftop pool (with a stunning glass-bottom section), and super comfortable rooms featuring a great shower and a stand-alone bathtub. Although it’s a bit far from the city center, the location is in a quiet area and just a 3-minute Grab ride from a large mall with plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, pharmacy, and cafés. You can walk there in 15–20 minutes, though in the August heat it’s not ideal. The hotel is also about a 15-minute Grab ride from both the Imperial Tombs area and the Imperial Citadel/center. Highly recommended!

“Amazing stay”
I stayed in La Vela 2 weeks and that was one of the best stay in Vietnam for 7 months. The hotel is new and has a very stylish design. Lobby is so beautiful! Rooms are spacious, and what is most important for me: they have a very good soundproofing windows ( what is rare in Vietnam!)+ super comfortable beds and pillows. I slept very well every night. I booked the room without breakfast but I paid it on site ( once or twice). It has a lot of options as well as western food, so local one too. And it worth the money. The only downside that the hotel could not offer me a good deal for a long stay, so I just extended my stay with the new bookings few times. Booking directly with hotel is much more expensive than through Agoda. The location is quite far away from the old town ( 3-4 km), but grab is cheap. Some days I even walked. New huge Aeon mall is nearby the hotel, so I went there almost every day to have yummy lunch or dinner ( there are a lot of restaurants ). If I come back to Hue I d stay again for sure!

“A safe holiday”
Recently, my wife and I had some work in our hometown of Hue and chose this hotel to stay. This is also the hotel that my family often chooses to rest each time we come back to Hue. The hotel is quite new, with high-end amenities, and is clean. Especially, the attitude of the staff is very attentive, polite, and professional. The hotel is spacious, has a good view, and the parking area is large, located next to AON Mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. We are very satisfied with this vacation.

“A day but really satisfying”
I had a long trip from the North to the South and stayed at many different hotels, and I felt very satisfied staying here. Although the location is a bit far from the center, it did not hinder our experience at the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are clean and tidy, and although the pool is small, it has a very beautiful view from above. The breakfast is plentiful and appealing. I would return if given the chance.
