    “Beautiful View, Cool Vibe, Skip the Kitchen”

    The rooms have beautiful views of an idyllic beach. The beach mostly empty throughout the day and the hotel doesn't have a ton of rooms so you're guaranteed a degree of privacy. The staff were really sweet, especially My who we visited a few times at her family's restaurant on Bãi Xếp beach for some delicious seafood. She was really welcoming and kind. They offer free beers on arrival and for helping clean up trash which is awesome. The bar is good and has some nice options and happy hour deals. The rooms are fine, though the spring mattress in our room was a bit sunken in and left my back hurting. Also, during the afternoon hours the AC struggled to fight off the scorching heat from outside. Also, our bathroom was a bit smelly. The room could also use some chairs. Lots of shelfing. No chairs. The food from the kitchen was universally disappointing from our experience. Maybe because we live in this country famous for its delicious cheap-eats, we're judging too harshly but the English muffin on my breakfast sandwich came out stale as a rock and with unmelted cheese, not to mention it was tiny. The đậu phụ sốt cà chua (tofu with tomato sauce) was expensive for a tiny portion and tasted really sweet like ketchup, not the traditional, savory flavor. The seafood chow mein was made with pasta noodles and dehydrated shrimp, it was better than the others but I'm sure this kitchen could do better with a few changes and some quality control checks in place. Overall, totally happy with our stay just for the view from the rooms and access to a beautiful, empty beach. Biggest problems were the kitchen and the sunken in mattress.
