Irriwaddy Idyllic ”
Lucky Dragon Hotel composed of double bungalow units is the idyllic location in Pyay along with its facilities and amenities. The landscaping is enchanting and surpasses the views of the hotel shown in PR script. The staff is ever reaching out to make one's stay idyllic. My stay in Pyay was beyond expectation in every way, in large part because of my accommodations at Lucky Dragon.

Greatest hotel in Pyay city”
Spending 1 nights in the hotel, I found that the staffs were very nice since before I arrived at the hotel! I asked various questions about how name of the bus company to Pyay, train scehedule, etc. via email and the staff replied me quickly. Situated in the ideal location, you can walk to market, river, park, city centre as well as Swesandaw pagoda. The staffs can help you everything. Room was so good and big with the suitable prize. I would recommend it to budget traveler as well as family with children and couples.

Good well run hotel”
Enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good location for the town and in front of the ayerwady river although not a particularly scenic part.. The breakfast was not memorable although the eggs were cooked to order and hot unlike the toast which is pre toasted to a pale hint of brown, cold and rubberised by the time it arrives on the table. We were glad of the comforts of this hotel as there doesn't seem to be much of a choice in Pyay.

Worth to stay”
All of Hotel staffs are friendly and kind, located near from night market, Pyay railwai station and japanese restaurant Yokohama. . They help the guest to book tour, toketoke, rental car, buses etc. I would like to stay again if I hav echance to visit Pyay.

A nice clean place to stay”
Near the banks of the river, Lucky Dragon is a quiet hotel, and is easy to find from the centre of Pyay or the bus station. The layout lends itself to a relaxing time and staff are willing to help out with travel arrangements. The pool is nice to look at but didn't look great for swimming. With a tasty breakfast, it's a good option for your time in Pyay.

Perfect little hotel in Pyay”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Dragon Hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were great and the newly tiled pool was a perfect way to end a hot day. I would highly recommend the Lucky Dragon as a beautiful and economical place to stay.

Quiet, clean and friendly in Pyay”
Throughout Myanmar, the hotel staff have been exceptionally efficient, helpful and friendly. The Lucky Dragon was no exception. It is located in a quiet area with a good restaurant across the road with a view of the Arrawaddy. I recommend this hotel to all.

A nice place to stay”
After staying in some rough places , the lucky dragon was a lucky find. Everything was good, the bed, the food, the service, the location. We arrived at 2 in the morning and all went well. This is a good place to stay.

Stayed 3 nights mid October 2016. Even though our bus arrived 1hr late from Bagan, close to 11:30pm instead of 10:30pm, the staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpfull. There always seemed to be at least one staff member working at any point in time who was able to communicate effectively in English. The room was very clean, the bathroom was excellent and modern and the aircon was effective concidering the heat outside!! Located approximately 15 minutes by tuk tuk South of the bus station, the hotel is well positioned for walking to most of the city's attractions; a 15min. stroll to Pyay's famous Shwesandaw Pagoda, an absolute must see especialy in the late afternoon as the sun goes down and the Gold of the Pagoda reflects and comes alive!!!! Breakfast was good and refelected the usual mix of Asian & Western choices available in most Sth Esat Asian hotels. The pool was being well patonized by the hotel guest, especially in the late afternoons, appeared very clean and well maintained. The hotel is conveniently located near the local food night market that offers a diverse choice of local delights and Sth East Asian cusine as well all the other colour you would expect from a local experience. Other restaurants are very close at hand, offering all manner of cusine choice and diverse settings especially along the river (literally across the road from the hotel). In summary, at the price point, ticks all the boxes!!

Great oasis in the village of Pyay”
I really enjoyed this hotel. The pictures do not do it justice. Its really beautiful. The hotel is in a bungalow style. Front porches with chairs all facing the walk way. The grounds are very well kept and you can eat on tables in the middle of the hotel walk way or in the restaurant. The beds are comfee and the shower is the best so far in Myanmar. The food in the hotel restaurant is good. Try the Tomato Salad. The staff have a good sense of humor and attempt to speak English. One down fall. Do not leave your room door open. Lots of bugs. Bring your bug spray to this town and use it.

Cozy, intimate spot!”
I loved the little cottages. It was so much more intimate and home-like than a hotel where everyone is in a warren of rooms off a corridor. The breakfast was adequate and the pool, once the swim lessons were over, was fun. They have a slide!

Good location right in the middle of everything and close to the river. The staff was very helpful even though not everyone was English speaking. We booked our transport to our next destination via e-mail through the hotel and everything went fine :-)

Welcoming hotel with good pool. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. They can assist with tour bookings. Good location close to restaurants. Rooms are clean and large with balcony overlooking garden area. Breakfast is your typical Myanmar fare.

Best choice in Pyay”
Charming bungalow style layout right around the corner from night market and decent restaurants, yet nice and quiet. Rooms clean, great breakfast, only thing to knock a point off the staff rating is that communicating in English was a trial. But they tried *very* hard!

Happy Dragon”
Only stayed one night. Friendly, helpful staff. English spoken. Clean spacious room. Very nice garden. Pool was closed when we were there but it isagood size with lounge chairs etc. very good breakfast buffet catering for Asian and non-Asian tastes. There is a night market in the next block and also Grandma's KoreN Kitchen with English menu. All in all, very good accommodation in a good location.

Garden is very well maintained and looks better than in the pictures. Rooms are standard but overpriced but there seems to be no better hotel in town.

Very good but cold milk for tea would bet a bonus. Also Internet patchy but that is true in most Burmese hotels.
