Hotel Home Moderne
15th - Tour Eiffel - Porte de Versailles,Paris - View on map
"I’ve been trying to pick a hotel in France which is just right for my budget and spacious for a family of 3 and I found Hotel Home Moderne. This lovely hotel is located in Rue Brancion Paris just a bit outside the city centre and from the famous tourist spots of Paris like Eiffel tower. It is a neighbourhood hotel and the cafes’ and restaurants around the area feels at home. Parc George Branssen is just 5 min walk from the hotel which is good for relaxing, nature retreat and strolling. A convenient store and pharmacy is just beside the hotel. The room we booked is for family and very spacious. The toilet itself is very big. TV channels are very abundant including cable channels. Lift is spacious and there are lots of tables in the dining and coffee area. Internet is very fast and hotel ammenities are generous like the shower gels, and shampoo. There is free french pastries 24/7 at the lobby. Special commendation to Gilles who help me print out my plane tickets - kudos sir. "

Holiday Inn Paris Gare de l'Est
10th - Gare du Nord,Paris - View on map
"I spent 4 nights at Holiday Inn Gare de l’Est over New Year. My train came into Gare du Nord which was only a 7 minute easy flat walk to the hotel. Checkin was quick and easy and Elias was very helpful & friendly. My room was decorated lovely with Parisian feel and overlooked the Gare de l’Est Station which was A very pleasant view especially at night with the lights. The Hop on hop off bus stops right outside the hotel around the corner about 30 meters away. The railway strikes were on during my visit so the metro at Gare de l’Est was not operational however in normal times the location would’ve been perfect for getting around via metro. There are numerous bus stands very close to the hotel also. The street area is a little unclean (as is much of Paris) but the hotel itself is immaculate. Breakfast was good with adequate selection. The room had a fridge, balcony, hairdryer and heating rack in the bathroom. The shower was very good also which I always appreciate. Good hotel. "

New Hotel Gare Du Nord
10th - Gare du Nord,Paris - View on map
"The rooms are clean and simply. The hotel is 2 star, so don't expect anything fancy. The rooms are of decent size compared to other 2 star hotels. What makes this hotel stand out from the rest is, besides its amazing location, its outstanding customer service. The staff at this hotel were great, the best I have ever experienced. As soon as we arrived they made us feel like we were old friends coming to stay in their home. They organised airport transfers and wake up calls for us at the last minute, made sure we had maps before we took of the busy streets of Paris, were flexible with payments when we didn't have cash on us at a given time and helped us immediately, without any complaints, when we got locked out of our room. They also speak very good english and even cracked a couple of jokes with us!! "

Campanile Paris Bercy Village
12th - Bercy - Gare de Lyon,Paris - View on map
"We booked for 5 nights during our recent visit to Paris. Good location near Bercy Village with many choices of cafes/ restaurants and within 10 mins walk to Metro Station - Cour Saint Emilion that connects us to all the tourist attractions in Paris via the Metro and RER network. Receptionists were okay and processed our check-in/ check-out smoothly. Housekeeping was good to clean up our room and ready for us upon our return to the hotel room in the evening. A typical good business hotel suitable for holiday travellers too. Similar to Ibis Hotel, if not slightly better than that. We didn’t take the hotel breakfast with €12 per person since cafes are nearby with supermarket next to the hotel. The only setback is that the shower room is a bit too small even for medium built Asian like us with less than 73kg and 174cm. Overall, we are still very happy during the stay and it is really good value for money for what we paid for. Strongly recommend this hotel in terms of the value for money and budget friendly accommodation. "

Hotel B Square
17th - Arc de Triomphe - Palais des Congres,Paris - View on map
" Our stay was very pleasant! The hotel is located near the Rome Metro station though we didn’t use it— we found it cheap enough to use Uber because the hotel is situated (relatively, in car ride terms) near the Opera (where the malls are), the Louvre, and the Marais. It is also located in a quiet part of the city (which means you can actually have a good night’s sleep), where there’s mostly locals so you have access to good bistrôts (there’s even a good one right across!), laundry, etc. For those who forgot their universal adapters, you can get one from the reception (you deposit €10 which you can get back after your stay/ you’ve used the plugs). You can even leave your luggage with them in case you got there earlier than check-in time, or you’ve somewhere to go before your flight. All the receptionists were very helpful (shoutout to Kris!). The rooms were as advertised, though we were pleasantly surprised by how big our bathroom is (ours even had a tub). We had a really nice street view, and they heat up your room very nicely. They also replenish your toiletries without you asking for them, which is a nice touch. They also clean up your room and still leave your things where they found them, which is nice. You also get a personal fridge, electric kettle, and coffee and tea in you room. The closet (with all the hangers and a foldable drying rack) is also a good size. I don’t know why some people in the reviews found this hotel expensive, because as far as Paris prices go and what the rooms look like, this is pretty decent. I’m definitely recommending this hotel to other travelers and when I come back to Paris, I’m staying here again. "

More about Paris

Paris is arguably the most recognizable city in the world. Renowned for its iconic beauty, the City of Lights sees a great number of visitors drawn to it year after year. In a word, Paris is simply stunning.

Divided by the river Seine and split into 20 districts, Paris's architectural beauty is its most obvious appeal. Building restrictions have frozen the inner city in the late 19th century. Add to that the world-famous sites such as the Arc de Triomphe, Louvre Museum, the Notre Dame, and the Eiffel Tower, it’s easy to see that Paris is overwhelmingly endowed with architectural marvels.

The birthplace of bohemianism, Paris treasures and nurtures art in all its forms. The Louvre stands out as a must-see for first-time visitors, the Centre Georges Pompidou a few streets away providing a modern counterpoint. The Musee D’Orsay is as much as a masterpiece as the art collections it houses of Monet, Van Gogh, and Renoir, to name a few.

Dinning in Paris is a cultural experience for all the senses, and the city’s sidewalks are filled with places to experience it just like the locals.

Paris is served by Charles de Gaulle Airport while the Eurostar to Brussels and London departs from Gare du Nord, and overnight connections to Italy depart from Gare de Lyon.

There's much more to see and learn about Paris, and the interactive map on this page is a great way to find out where all the attractions, hotels, and must-see destinations can be found in this exciting city.
