We have stayed at this resort before. We enjoy the quiet and unique feeling of the resort. Many activities are avaiable. Not too far from town so offers the best of both worlds. As we were travelling for personal business. The resort offered us the chance to enjoy quiet hours and stroll the grounds in between the busy schedule we had waiting on the "work" side. A very enjoyable place to stay. If you like horses even so much the better - there is a lot of horse history here. We will stay here again.

Ampan resort is a lovely place to stay either in a couple or on your own, everyone is so friendly.. It is about 10-15 min drive away from pattaya town (the beach ect) but there is a shop just next door to the hotel which has a taxi service for 100 baht per person! The rooms are really big also is the shower room! The swimming pool is very nice also. The whole place is very lovely defiantly would stay again. The only bad part is the people at the reception don't speak very good English so just be slow when speaking and be patient when waiting for a reply.

I came for one day business trip to Pattaya, and stayed in this hotel as i didn't want to be packed in the crowd in Pattaya downtown. I found Suan Palm resort was so impressive, and it's over my expectation as the very new and clean room, lovely decoration, convenient parking lot, and of course its location which is closed to Chonburi-Pattaya Highway, No. 36 Highway to Rayong, and it takes only 10 minute drive to Pattaya beach road after work. Also, the sport club is available inside the hotel area, big swimming pool, and sauna, it is highly recommended if you are a family with kids.

nice resort off the beaten path in a natural surrounding. its quiet to wake up to and its always a relaxing stay at this resort. the kitchen facilities looks clean and nice but I haven't eaten there yet as i have many friends in town and normally hang out at their houses. I am a huge dog lover and dog trainer but the dogs that live on the premises always bark at me and are generally not very nice and guest should stay away from the dogs. they have advanced towards me during my last stay and i had to kick one of them as it was quite aggressive in nature. i think the resort owners should keep the dogs away from guests at all times. apart from the dogs I do like coming here and will continue to come back as i frequent the area almost 2-3 times per month ongoing

I stayed only 1 night in the hotel and i guess me and my friend were the only guests who stayed for the night. the hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. all in all it was perfect untill some ennoying and OBSCENE men showed up, grapped the bar tenders on the butt and played their music in the restaurant so loud that you could not unterstand each other anymore.

The hotel's car came to pick me up from bus station. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. What I needed, they would send my room. The room was very spacious, clean, quiet and bright, make me calm, and very Thai style life. Very different from other hotels in downtown Pattaya. also close to 7-11 and family mart. very comfortable to live here. I will come here next time.

I have been coming to this area for 15 years and normally stay at one of my friends house. Luck has it they are all offshore at the moment. I like the area as I ride my bike around the lake and there are plenty of places to have a beer afterwards. A pool is mandatory for me. I tried to book another place but it was full so booked this place to rest my head at $28 for the night. I was expecting what you would for $28.00. It was a one night on a weekend getaway from BKK and I would be on my bike most of the time so wasn't too phased about my room standard. I normally stay in 5 star hotels for work 4 months of the year so I do have some standards. Upon driving in I was met by the owner. He was very welcoming and knew my name. I was promptly checked in and paid my 750 THB in cash as they have no credit card facilities. I was then taken to the room and was pleasantly surprised. This is simply not a $28.00 room. Brand new bed, fridge, AC, kettle, toaster, microwave and paint job...and furniture. This would be $100 in Pattaya city. There is also a sliding door with new chair and table at the back. I may of stumbled on the best kept secrets around the lake! I went for a ride and came back 2 hours later. The pool is well maintained and enjoyed a dip. The pool area is very clean. The management here have done a massive upgrade and work tirelessly and their efforts and dreams are not far away from being achieved. I had a small plate of fries after my swim and my partner had some noodles and reported they were good. The service was also prompt and with a smile. We finished our meal and drinks and it was nearing 5pm and the owner offered a free drink for both of us which was nice and actually a bit of a shock. This never happens and highlights the owners efforts of pleasing the customer. I then asked could I rent their motorbike as I wanted to go out for some food after our snack. He said no problem, I will drive you! Thanks to management if you read this. Jim.

A recently completed hotel so the rooms are all nicely furnished with good quality furniture, no tea and coffee facilities in the room though.... but they do have a fridge. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant at the front of the hotel provided nicely presented food that was good value for money and very tasty. Can park your car outside your room which was useful. Would stay there again if we ever go back to Pattaya.

The location is perfect for my trip. All hotel staff are nice. The room is new, big and clean. The only knack on the room is that the front door lock of the room I got is not well-installed. I meant that you will have to learn a little bit of technique to lock it properly. Even some staff couldn't get it locked. The other thing is that the bathroom inside couldn't be locked. This doesn't bother me because I traveled alone this time. I didn't use facilities much, so I couldn't comment. But at least, the wifi worked fine. In summary, I am very happy with my stay considering the rate and location.

We booked this place to go to Wonderfruit music festival. However, it can be difficult to get a taxi because I believe the owners have changed hands and the name of this hotel is now called Yinjaroen hotel. Anyway, there isn't much around but we were only here to sleep and in the daytime we would go to the festival site. There is a family mart nearby and some food stalls. If I return, I'll probably stay here again. The room is clean and the staff are nice even if they can't speak English.
