Good Choice”

With so many choices to make in regards to accomodation in Pattaya. We were very happy with all the facilities in Mantra Pura. It does not have a sea view but the pool is well designed and was very clean. The directions to the hotel were a little misleading as the entrance was on Pattaya North Road and not 3rd Street as was mentioned on the web site. The food at the hotel was exceptionally good with very cheap prices. There was Wifi internet service that we could connect to free. With all the friendly staff there, we will be going back there again.

Spa and relaxation ”

I've been a faithful customer of Mantra Pura Resort due to it's beautiful layout with relaxing pool. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. There is a Spa right on the premises with a well suited gym as well. The best part of this place is it that it was built for all budgets and you don't have to sacrifice comfort for money. I have booked every room from Suites to low budget rooms and all the beds are comfortable. You may see a bit of wear here and there but they are constantly renovating to upkeep it's shine. The best room I recommend is the suite, it has a master bedroom with a separate living room small kitchenette and table. It's my favorite just gives you an apartment feel. Although many are discouraged by it's distance from the famous Walking Street. I feel this hotel is well suited for all Travellers especially families who are trying to stay away from the nightlife scene of Pattaya. and last but not least if you book a room with breakfast included they have a pretty decent buffet breakfast to soothe the appetite.

Very pleasent stay in Pattaya”

i enjoyed very much my stay at mantra pura resort. the staff was very friendly, they help me to contact different persons in pattaya. the wifi connection was very good also. the only thing i could complain is the bath tube. the hot water came discontinuously, but not such a big problem to spoil the pleasure of my stay in pattaya.

Good value for money”

Stayed at the mantra pura resort for 11 nights in October...Id read mixed reviews on this hotel however I was willing to give it a try...I wasn't disappointed,everything advertised was there and more... I had a deluxe room with breakfast...The rooms are spacious and exactly like the images on the website...The pool view was wonderful....I only made the breakfast buffet once and from memory was mostly catered for the Chinese clientele which breezes in and out... The pool is amazing,with sun for the entire day....There are 3 jacuzzi seats in the pool and plenty of sunloungers etc....I cannot recommend the pool area enough,seeing is believing... The location is a bit far out....You can walk to soi buckhao or second road,however it takes about 30 mins....It's not on the baht bus route so a motorbike taxi is a must...60-80 baht per journey so if your on a budget factor this in.... All in all I highly recommend this hotel except for the location....I had the deluxe room and paid €282 for 11 nights...Well worth the price and more....

Beautiful Hotel with Elegant rooms”

For solo, family or business Travellers . The Mantra Pura offers a high class environment with a low budget cost. Offers all the amenities needed with buffet style breakfast remarkable lounging areas and beautiful pool. Mantra Hotel is one of pattaya a best kept secrets located away from the bustling noise of the city yet a good healthy walk away from the beach. I always highly recommend this place with people travelling with children wanting to stay away from the nightlife scene. This hotel includes a nice gym and is tendered by the friendliest of staff. I rate this a 5 star hotel.

Best place around”

I got there just after the riots in May 2010. The kerfue was just lifted. when i saw the hotel it was a great looking place. I was welcomed with open arms and smiles. The pool look so tempting. The abondance of plants are well placed. Upon opening room door its was just like the pictures but better. Good strong furniture. And very clean. Its located in a quiet area away from walking street. But there are stores within walking distance. Just a tuk-tuk ride from anywhere. Hotel also has its own tuk-tuk. I strongly recomend Mantra Pura. Looking forward to my next stay. Great Place.

Good decorated hotel with gorgeous breakfast”

i stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and i feel that hotel is really price effective compares to its peer. it takes less than 5 minutes walk from lotus departmentstore, 10 minutes walk from pattaya beach and 1 minutes walk from a local coin laudry shop so it is really quite convenient for those who prefer longer stay and slower life than those at the night club district. eventhough the sauna room is not fully functioned but her swimming pool is great and the breakfast is really gorgeous so overall, i am quite satisfied stayed at this hotel. ps. you can take a song-taew (local half-bus-half-pickup) to walkingstreet or pattaya beach for just bath (0.5usd). the song-taew runs around the clock so you dunt have to worry about cant coming back to the hotel at night. keep in mind, some song-taew buses are operated as a taxi so you to ask them whether they are a taxi or a bus.

Very pleasant and comfortable”

The Mantra Pura is one of the best hotels I've experienced anywhere. Friendly and helpful staff with good English. Room was very nice with good WIFI and a very good gym with modern equipment and air conditioning. It also has one of the best pools I've seen in a hotel. It's not too close to Walking Street so you will be able to sleep without club music in the background. I would recommend to anyone!

february mantra visit”

the mantra pura is a wonderful hotel, very easy to find, very friendly staff as soon as we checked in. lights needed a little repair but staff engineer came up as soon as we called. the pool is setup centrally in the hotel. rooms are very modern and the price for the rooms is very very affordable. perfect place for couples to relax and have fun. it also will keep you from the noise and crowd of the central walk.

Pleasant stay in a nice resort”

I think the resort is a real value for money. I got a 3 bed spacious room for my family (wife and 2 kids) at a very reasonable price. Resort is located on a main road which is away from the hustle bustle of pattaya but is well connected. The staff was friendly and provided all possible help when asked for. The resort also has a nice pool and a good gymnasium. One of the cons was that the kitchenette in the room did not have any cooking utensils and microwave. This was a bit unexpected. The bathroom fittings and the furniture appeared old and probably should be refurbished. Breakfast was good though it did not have many vegetarian options. Overall satisfied with the stay.

Exactly what I was hoping for.”

i was staying whilst sorting out a funeral so i wasn't interested in how near or far it was to the beach etc. the hotels proximity to main roads meant it could get a bit noisier at night than somewhere off the main road, but actually the air-con provided a noise cover all night which meant i got good nights sleep and at a very comfortable temperature. the quality of the room was very good, and excellent value. free bottled water was a nice touch too. actually preferred the hotel being away from the party/seedier side of pattaya. there must be nicer parts of thailand to have a family holiday, but couldn't fault the mantrapura hotel. if i have to go to pattaya again i will stay there again.

we stayed in mantra pura resort for 5days.place is gorgeous,spacious room with balcony,great swimming pool.the only this is location as to centre you need good couple minutes of walking

Excellent Choice”

As someone who usually complains, I have to say we really enjoyed our stay here and extended our stay. We stayed in a 1 bed suite and it was huge, with two TV's, free WIFI and an enormous bathroom. The swimming pool is spacious, clean and not too deep for nervous swimmers. The sauna, steam rooms and enormous shared jacuzzi are very enjoyable too. The price of drinks in room service is marginally higher than what you pay in a supermarket and food is tasty and very good value too. Most of the clientele are Thai families and although you are near the chaos of Pattaya, you aren't immersed in it and get the feeling of being away from it all, whilst being very close to it all! Saengthaws stop outside the hotel to take you to the beach/Walking St for 10 baht and coming back you can either pay 100 baht for a taxi or change at Dolphin roundabout and pay 20 baht. We will definitely return here.

Absolutely gorgeous”

We stayed for two nights during a "two for one" night Agoda special. This essentially was a 50% discount! We could not have been happier with this deal! The resort is stunning and worth a stay whether or not you can get a discount! We loved it and would highly recommend it to any couple or family. It's far enough from the "Pattaya Action" to be quiet and only an easy short 5 minute ride to town or to the bus station.

Great mid-range choice”

On arrival we were upgraded to a suite which was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The pool is large and the breakfast basic but plentiful. There is a large selection of Asian food offered due to the large number of Chinese tour groups as well as the standard eggs, bread and ham. The staff were pleasant and helpful and helped to arrange a babysitter for us from the cleaning staff of the hotel who was kind and patient and quickly won our daughter's affection. The hotel was good value for money and its location was of no concern to us as we know the area well and have our own transport but it is well served by motorcycle taxis and on the songthew route. We normally stay at the Dusit or Woodlands but will definitely return to stay at the Mantra Pura again.

very good hotel in a quiet location in north pattaya,far enough away from the action re;bars /girls etc. yet close enough and accessable.tesco walking distance ,bike hire across the road,bus station down the road and fairtex muay thai close by.

great location and swimming pool”

I really enjoyed my stay at Mantra Pura and the swimming pool is perfect. The location is great, the staff is helpful. I stayed in a standard room located in the back building. The con is only the traffic noise at night due to the fact that the back building is right next to the main road. I highly recommend people to stay at the deluxe area or any rooms in the pool view building.

Comfortable / Relax / Valuable”

We met a little bit problem about booking voucher by Agoda when we called to check and reconfirm with hotel directly. But agoda center help us about this. So when we checked-in, the hotel told me that they upgraded our room from Deluxe triple to Deluxe pool view with additional bed. We really impressed about this room type. The room was old style but clean and comfortable. The terrace can open directly to swimming pool. The Breakfast was good. But we met a little bit problem about water system in the toilet. Finally we think we will come back to this hotel again if we have plan to relax in Pattaya.

My kid and I have a good time there after moving from jomtien to north pattaya. Lots of reatairants, food shops, and nightlife in this area and we enjoyed going for a ride after dinner. This low rise resort is a nice place to stay if seavoew doesn't matter for you that much. Fitness is ok and sauna room opened upon request. Everything in the rooom is superb!
