I stayed in Da Nang for 2 nights at a hotel and 1 night at a resort. The room conditions were good and the staff were very friendly. When I went to have breakfast for 3 consecutive days, the staff remembered me and we had a lot of small talk which was fun. The breakfast and happy hour meals were not particularly delicious, but it was still enjoyable to have a pleasant meal. I had high expectations for the resort, but I was too scared of the lizards, so my heart raced every time I went in. If I go again, I think I will continue to stay at the hotel. The swimming pool and private beach were both perfect. Most of the staff, including Lan Lac(?), were friendly!

As I didn't know where to stay in Danang for the first time, I searched on Agoda and decided to stay at a lovely hotel for three nights. The front desk was located in an open and beautiful outdoor area. The room was spacious and had a partial view of the sea. The beach was just a short walk from the hotel, and I went for grounding twice during my stay. I also swam in a lovely pool for the first time in years. The breakfast had a wide variety of menu options, and there was something different every day for the three days. On the third day, I found out that I could order free drinks at the bar counter in the breakfast area. I became friends with the staff who always greeted me with a smile at the entrance of the breakfast area, and we even took a photo together at the end. I called a Grab taxi to go to Danang city, and it cost about 700 yen. I did a lot of sightseeing this time, so I would like to stay at the hotel and relax next time. Thank you very much.

다낭 시내와 미케 비치는 차로 10분 거리, 공항은 20분 거리, 호이안은 30분 거리, 리조트 위치 또한 바닷가에 위치해 있어 다낭을 즐기기에 가장 적합한 곳이라 할 수 있습니다. 멜리아 리조트에서 좋았던 점은 ① 시설이 깨끗하다, ② 조식 종류가 다양하고 맛있다, ③ 수영장이 많다. (더 레벨 수영장까지 하면 대여섯 개였던 걸로 기억합니다. 참고로 더 레벨 투숙객 아니어도 더 레벨 수영장 이용 가능해 보였는데, 더 레벨 수영장보다 일반 수영장이 훨씬 크고 좋았어요.) 불편했던 점은 시설 문제였는데요. 욕조와 샤워실 배수구가 막혀서 엔지니어를 두 번이나 불러야 했습니다. 샤워실 등도 나간 상태여서 고쳐 달라고 요청했었네요. 빠르게 조치를 취해 주었지만, 샤워실 배수구는 손을 봤음에도 불구하고 배수가 잘 안 돼서 물이 욕실 바닥으로 계속 넘치더라구요.. 이 부분은 좀 아쉬웠습니다. 그래도 늦은 시간이었는데 엔지니어분들이 빠르게 고치러 와주었고, 객실 담당자는 사과 편지와 함께 디저트를 보내주었습니다. 정말 고마웠어요! I chose Melia Resort because it has good accessibility to downtown Da Nang, the airport, and Hoi An. It’s just a 10-minute drive to downtown Da Nang and My Khe Beach, 20 minutes to the airport, and 30 minutes to Hoi An. The resort is also located by the beach, making it an ideal spot to enjoy Da Nang. What I liked about Melia Resort was: ① the facilities are clean, ② there is a variety of delicious options for breakfast, and ③ there are many swimming pools. (If I remember correctly, there were about five or six pools, including the Level pool. By the way, it seemed that even guests not staying at the Level could use the Level pool, but the general pools were much larger and better.) However, there were some inconveniences related to the facilities. The bathtub and shower drain were clogged, and I had to call the engineer twice. The shower light was also out, so I requested repairs. Although they responded quickly, the shower drain still didn't drain well even after being fixed, causing water to overflow onto the bathroom floor. This was a bit disappointing. Still, even though it was late, the engineers came quickly to fix the issues, and the room attendant sent a dessert along with an apology letter. I really appreciated that!

My family and I had a comfortable stay in Melia Danang. Hospitality was superb, from the receptionist to the kids club staff and buggy driver. The shower heads were faulty but got rectified very quickly by staff, and they followed up to ensure everything was okay. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good, in terms of selection and taste. Facilities were a bit lacking though, the kids club could offer more activities, gym can be improved. Surroundings could be better lit at night as some areas are rather dark. Overall, recommended stay here for a relaxing getaway.

Walking distance to Marble Mountain (try going before the tour groups or after to actually feel the soul of the mountain), comfortable benches right by the beautiful beach front with fantastic service if you'd like a snack or drink by the pool or the beach - it's great. Their amenities for the beach and the beautiful infinity pools - all top notch for the price - I think. But where things break down for me is the quality of the ACTUAL ROOMS - be it the Level Room or the hotel rooms --> they all fell short of 5 star hotel standards and felt more like a 3 star standard. We started our stay in a Level Room, but the room felt very dark ( due to arriving in the evening, the dim lighting, and the black marble floors), there was a faint mold smell, and I could see over the walls of our outdoor shower (where moths rested on the walls) .. and so we asked to change a room - even though that meant a downgrade to the room amenities. (different quality of soaps and snacks and coffee and bottles of water). We changed to a Premium Room. When I showered, I discovered that instead of shampoo, there was water mixed with white chunks of I can only assume is old shampoo? But it was 9pm and I was tired, so we slept early. Only to be awaken at 10pm by our loud neighbors. That's where I learned the WALLS ARE THIN and voices carry in the hotel rooms. I made a request to change hotel rooms, and the caring hotel staff followed up with this request the following morning. The next morning, we were given a choice of two different rooms in their "newer" section 3 area. We opted for another premium room - but the quality of this new room was not impressive. This newly built bedroom's "Do Not Disturb" button was not working and rang like a doorbell continuously when pressed. So we left that alone. I stepped on something sharp in the bedroom and found it was a clipped toenail. (Gross) When showering, the water sprays outside the door into the bathroom because the side with the hinges and the ground level part of the shower door has a small gap - letting the water seep through to outside the bathroom while showering. Also, our rain showerhead went in all different directions. The bath tub spout is quite short - so if you open the water spout to full, water will spill out from the top of the tub. Again, the design of things inside of the room has room for improvement. While sleeping, our super king bed had a crack in the middle - so we learned we needed to keep pushing the two beds closer - or just sleep on our own separate beds to avoid making a bigger dip in the middle of the bed. I tripped on the rug in front of the bed multiple times - as it was flipped up at the edges. Additionally, the hinge for the balcony door faces inwards instead of outwards - making a huge lump when closing the curtains in the bedroom. For a newly built hotel section, we found the standard and quality of rooms extremely lacking. But as this was the third room we were placed in, we had no desire to change room anymore - just wanted to enjoy our last evening in DaNang - and so overlooked all the hotel room issues and focused on the gift of simply being together. The hotel staff - specifically Cuong - the daytime manager on our second day - made this a wonderful stay. He was extremely patient and kind and helpful. He took the time to explain the history of the Marble Mountains to us, really took the time to try to make our stay to our request, and made us feel taken care of. In terms of having the "Level" experience - ... this resort does not offer the experience that is advertised. There is no private check in and check out area, there is no all day lounge access. Also, the "private" pools and "private" breakfast areas are all visible to the "public" Breakfast time made both me and my husband feel so uncomfortable- because we saw many instances of other guests sitting down in the level area only to be asked to sit outside of
