Molo Beverello hotels & places to stay

I was immediately upgraded on arrival from my single room booking to a double room with a sea view - how lovely! (it is low season). room was great, nice hot bath every night, a couple of english lang TV news channels, comfy bed, lots of pillows; breakfast was awesome - nice touches including local pastries, grapefruit juice, fruit, muesli, hot chocolate - all appreciated. Staff were helpful in a number of ways. Even found the 'fitness room' after 3 attempts (it's not signed or mentioned in the services directory) - it's minimal but ok. i walked from here to the Port for ferries twice, and all around old part of town and up to Gallerie Umberto, so location is great. Cons: there aren't many. Staff don't know tourist info, so don't bother asking things like 'where does this ferry go from?' or 'where do i get this bus?' as they are just guessing.... Rooms are kitted out in cheap white chipboard fittings but overall very pleasant. Weirdly, the whole front wall facing Vesuvius with fantastic views is bricked in - you just get a small side window facing out to the sea - opportunity lost for great views!! but these are minor - overall a great hotel.

This hotel is very close to the port which makes it easy for travel to Capri or other islands. It is also within walking distance of the Centro Storico which makes an interesting stroll through the narrow streets. The hotel has some nice sunny rooms that face onto the street, unfortunately ours was facing onto an internal courtyard, but we didn't plan to stay in our room other than for sleeping, so it was not a problem. The room was very clean, the staff at reception were very friendly and breakfast was fine with plenty to choose from. It can be taken on the terrace overlooking the Castel Nuovo.

The best part is the rooms are new. Unfortunately the hotel is inside an office building which poses several difficulties for you. One is the fact that the elevator requires 50 cents to travel upstairs and it is only large enough for two people with luggage. The second is that the reception of the hotel is not 24 hours. In fact in my three days at the hotel I only saw the staff at the desk one time in the afternoon. There was nobody in the desk at 3pm on Sunday and was locked out of the front door and had to wait for another guest to enter the door. This is a big down side. Otherwise the rooms are great and the owner is very helpful to introduce her city. I just hope they can fix the reception and have a staff there more often. Most people don't travel with a working local phone to call in case of help.

We spent two nights here. The hotel is reasonably good location if you travelling by train. We took taxi from the airport but when leaving Naples, we were able to walk to the closed by train station to move on to the next city, about 20 mins walk. We also took a train on one of the days to Pasitano, again by foot to the station. Walking distance to main tourist areas and some famous pizzeria. Hotel room is average overall as you expected in normal hotel in term of quality and spaciousness, nothing spectacular but still comfortable to stay in. Shower is small. Breakfast is good but a variety of pastries. There is also an espresso bar operated by staff if you fancy decent coffee compared to the usual auto-machine generates coffee. Overall, a decent hotel.

The B&B is on the fourth floor of a large building. The outside street is extremely busy (it is one of the main thoroughfares of that area) but it was entirely quiet in my room. The people who run the B&B work extremely hard to make it comfortable and were extremely helpful telling me what to see in my one day in Naples (I didn't need a guidebook !) and in arranging a taxi for me to the airport the next day. The room was big and the bathroom plumbing good. The breakfast was large with a lot of choices. The location was convenient for me because I could walk from the port where I arrived on a ferry. It is on the edge of the centro storico and a modest walk to many of the main sights in Naples.

If you stay Covo Degli Angioni Hotel, you won't regret it. I stayed 3 nights in this hotel(May 16th-19th, 2013) and I perfectly satisfied. The hotel manager was really kindly and she told us the best pizza restaurant in Naples which name is 'Sofi'(just near by the hotel). Also Naples public safety is not very good but this hotel's location is relatively safe. I stayed economy double room and the room size is bigger than I thought. The hotel offers breakfast and it was fine.

Paulo, Elena and Luka treated us like family from the minute we arrived. They are amazing hosts who go above and beyond in supplying all the information you need to navigate your way around Naples and the nearby areas. All contact with them prior to our arrival was prompt and helpful. Paulo organised our taxi and guaranteed a fixed price. The apartments are very spacious and exceptionally clean. The large breakfast is included each day and you have a choice of either a sweet, savoury or a mixture of both. Paulo's coffees are the best! iBed Napoli B&B is in a fantastic location, walking distance into the Old City, three Metro lines (direct lines to Napoli Centrale) and the Port with day trips to Pompeii, Isle of Capri, Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi all doable. We could not recommend iBed Napoli B&B highly enough and would one day hope to return! Thank you again Paulo, Elena and Luka.

予約した直後から、オーナーから宿へのアクセスやナポリでの注意点などを何度かメールいただき、宿泊前から、その親切さに感心してました。 当日、伝えていたよりも早い時間帯でのチェックインとなったため、オーナーの奥様が対応してくれました。地下鉄ムニチピオ駅至近のアパートの一室で、高級感はありませんが部屋も広く清潔に保たれており、冷蔵庫やWifiも完備されていて必要十分。メッディーナ通りを眺めることができるベランダからの眺望も良かったです。シャワーの水圧も申し分ありませんでした。ムニチピオ駅周辺はスパッカナポリへも徒歩圏内にも関わらず落ち着ていて、街も通りも清潔でオシャレ、歩いている人も身なりが良く、夜も安心して外出できます。近くには大きなスーパーあり（営業は夜10時迄）。カプリ島などへのフェリー乗り場からも近く、交通至便。大満足の滞在となりました。ナポリを再訪する機会があれば、またここに宿泊すると思います。おススメです。

The view of the port isn't great, also the constant noise is annoying. There was no staff, just a lady who only spoke Italian who came twice for a few hours. She only accepts cash which was not clear in advance and annoying because it meant using an ATM and paying fee's. There was no room safe and the balcony door was broken so the room was not secure. Breakfast was a box of cornflakes but no bowl or milk!! It was functional, close to the ferry for Capri and Almafi coast, 5 mins walk from historic area and we were able to get assistance from the cafe across the street.
