              “Canning Street Apartments”

              We found these apartments very handy for the city. It was a 2 minute walk to Shandwick Place, where you can get food shopping & the bus stop to the centre of town, although you are only 5 minutes from the top of Princes Street. The reason I mention this is that Edinburgh is very expensive for parking, in fact it cost over £8 per hour to park opposite the apartment. The apartment was clean & tidy & had everything you would need for a couple of weeks away. Very comfortable bed & brilliant shower. There was a hair drier, iron & board, towels, cutlery/crockery, washing up liquid, shampoo, shower gel, etc. My only criticism would be that the toilet door (which slides) seemed to be off its rollers & was therefore difficult to use, although as it was upstairs & we were a couple, it did not bother us. Would I stay here again - YES

              “Very good but…”

              The apartment is clean and well located. Well appointed, warm and comfortable. The main issue was the wifi. Way too slow. The check in procedures are incorrect. There is no TV aerial, so you’re stuck with Netflix. There are a lot of stairs!!

              “Very good”

              Good location and spacious. Just bit troublesome for check in as it is self check in online. Also need to walk to stairs - if have many luggage’s would be a bit hard

              “Great apartment but not without problem”

              The apartment was in a great location in central Edinburgh. It would be a fantastic place to spend a week while you explore the area.... However, we had a few issues. We had quite a few emails between booking and arriving but none of them told us that we had to pick up the key from somewhere else, rather than arriving at the address of the apartment. The office was a 15 min walk away from the apartment, so it could have been worse, but we were already tired from walking and were carrying lots of luggage. Office staff were helpful. The apartment was very clean, apart from the hairdryer which was full of dust so it cut out as soon as we started using it. Underfloor heating was a pleasing novelty! The TV in the bedroom didn't work and there was no sign of (nor instructions for) the mysterious " hi tech multi room music system" which we were hoping to use. Perhaps it was so hi tech it was invisible? I emailed them but several days later I've had no reply...

              “Great place to stay with kids”

              Great place to stay a few days with our young kids. It's not exactly "central" but it's just a short walk to go to the old town or the Royal Mile. The kitchen is really well stacked in terms of pots/pans and plates. Only salt and pepper though so for real cooking you need to buy some additional items (like oil/butter/etc). The only issue was the complexity of the heating - there are around 6 different thermostats around the apartment and still we weren't able to get it really warm. Other than that, it was really nice! Do take note that you need to collect the key at a different location. We had the taxi waiting and it just took a few minutes to get the paperwork done and to get the keys. Friendly service there.
