Bad management”

1 Close to bus station for onward journey to Yangon. 2 Price would be fine if not for getting messed around. 3 TV even in basic double room.

On arrival the staff said they weren't aware of our booking through agoda so the rooms we had booked were already full but when they checked our booking was on the system. The manager had already left for the night and was uncontactable so they put us in a different room. We were woke up at 7am and told that the manager wanted us to now move to our booked room which was free and that breakfast had been cancelled as we stayed in rooms of a higher rate. On speaking to the manager and explaining how we had paid for a room and breakfast and shouldn't have it taken away because they double booked the rooms she became very rude and unresponsive to the matter looking at us with an uninterested gaze as if not caring about our complaint and the conversation was finished. The hotel would be fine if not for the lack of customer care and bad people skills shown by the low level of management at this establishment.

300m from te railway station”

Location, friendly and helpful staff

The owner, who speaks a little bit English and the staff are very friendly and helpful. But the a part of the hotel (there are 3 different buildings within 100m distance) is quite noisy. Trucks hunks quite often during the night. No hot shower, bathroom very basic. I killed 4 cockroaches during one night. Not talking about the aunts. Ok, aunts are not a problem, but 4 cockroaches in the room? The location is good if you travel by train. But the city is quite far away. US 30.- was definitely too much for the room.

clean, helpful staff, proximity to bus and train stations

While the hotel itself is an okay space and the staff are accommodating and friendly. If you are happy to stay outside of town, this is a reasonable hotel.
