"Excellent Staff all round. Very Clean rooms and extremely helpful Manager. She even changed my twin bed room to one large bed without me asking. Thankyou to you all for a great stay. Breakfast was fantastic. Quality Hotel and a good price for Yangon. I hope to return. It is in Suburbia not amongst touristy attractions. This is the real life of Myanmar. It is facing a 'creek'. 300m wide !! You can walk to a Supermarket. The onsite restaurant is great, rooftop sunsets. Get a river view room for the best experience. Most comfy beds."

"I stayed in this location because it's near to my local business partner's house, so he does not have to drive us into downtown after finish dinner and business discussion at his house, less stress for a growing traffic in Yangon. There is a middle size supermarket not so far, but difficult to walk, only 5 min by car. In the night time, the hotel is completely dark when looking from the entrance, lucky they had a big sign saying "We open" (something like that). Room is clean and huge, with free WIFI. The morning view is superb. I did not have a chance to try their breakfast, though."

"The only downside we experienced this time (and also a few years ago when I also stayed here) is that the internet kept going in and out. Sometimes it was minute to minute. Made it very difficult to do communications. This may have been a problem of the internet company and had nothing to do with the hotel. "

"My wife and I originally booked Royal Golden View Hotel for three nights, but liked our stay so much, we stayed for two more weeks! It is such a peaceful property, right on the river, and our time there was very special. It was wonderful waking up each morning and seeing the many pagodas dotting the landscape! The staff became like our family, teaching us Burmese and answering all our questions, we will miss them very much. The room with the balcony was great, because we could dry our clothes, and the bathroom shower was very pleasant. Aside from the very friendly staff, the breakfast was amazing everyday, and we often ate several meals at the hotel each day. They were very helpful in making us vegetarian options as well. I really loved the dining area, since it has many windows looking onto the river, and my wife and I would do our work there, it was very peaceful and productive. The hotel owner was also very kind to give me a longyi, making me feel even more at home. Thank you to Royal Golden View, we will be back next year! "

"Hotel is located about 20min away from International hotel during non-peak hour. Friendly and attentive reception staffs with Malay speaking ability. Reasonable price and basic hotel (2star facilities) and clean (most importantly as room is clean daily). However, wifi service can be erratic especially at night. Ample parking space and not far from tea shop and local convenience shops (few minutes). Lcation is 45MIN away from downtown but this does not matter as i do not need to go there"
