Great Location, Friendly Staff and Clean!”
We booked a last minute trip to San Francisco and it was impossible to find anything under $300/night. Thank goodness we found Oasis Inn. We had our 7 year old with us and just loved the location - walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops and parks. The staff was so friendly and the rooms are clean. If you're traveling on a budget this hotel is just perfect. You can't beat the location for the price. Thank you Oasis Inn, we'll be back!!

Easy to find and excellent restaurants ”
I was surprised by the great parking facility, at no extra charge. The central garden area was inviting and had a wonderful view of San Francisco. It was no problem finding a multiple bistro type dinning places within walking. It was nice to come back to a quiet hotel, with twinkling lights of the city and an Oasis garden patio. I wish the hot tub was in working order. I also believe that they do have bed bugs... so bring a cover cloth, which I do for any hotel.

A fine budget hotel and good location”
Anyone with serious complaints about the Oasis Inn is neither practical nor very realistic. Of course, it is only a 2-star property but all its positive points overshadow any of the qualities that are lacking. For location, the fact that they offer free parking, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful, one simply cannot beat this hotel value and the Civic Center location.

Great location, clean room”
There were some scary reviews about the Oasis Inn but it was perfect for what we needed- a cheap price and mostly just a place to sleep and shower. No problems with the staff. Cute patio area. Perfect area. We were going to a concert at the Fillmore and it was just over a 10 minute walk. Felt safe walking even late at night. Water pressure was incredible. Lots of TV channels. The wifi was fast. Obviously not a fancy hotel and doesn't have breakfast, but if you are looking for a cheap hotel in a great location in SF, this is the one for you.

More bang-Less Buck”
I was kind of skeptical booking this room because it was so cheap and near the Civic Center, but glas I did. The hotel was very convenient for us because we were in town visiting my mom who was at CPMC. The hotel offered free parking in a semi-safe place. It is in walking distance to many restaurants, fast food and convenience stores. If you're looking for free morning coffee-than look elsewhere. The rooms were pretty decent. The beds were very comfortable. I saw reviews about street and neighboring rooms-but we slept like logs. The TV had Roku, so you could watch regular channels or link on to your Netflix or Prime accounts to watch movies. I have been to many 5,4,3 and 2 star hotels and the pressure of the shower was definitely 5 star. Decor in the room was basic but it kept it looking less cluttered. Court yard area was nice and serene. Side streets had homeless people but they never bothered us. I would definitely return while Im visiting my mom at CPMC over the weekend.

Nice Hotel. Confusing Pre-Pay System”
The hotel was very nice. There was confusion on check-in about the reservation. It seems as if Agoda had not properly gotten it into the hotel system. The desk clerk managed to get me checked in without any significant problem. Even though I gave them the voucher from Agoda, they ended up charging my credit card again. They said they will refund the charge, but I have not yet seend that refund on the credit card account. I tend to think the prolem is more with Agoda than the Oasis itself and probably will not use Agoda again, though I would stay at the Oasis again if I had reason to be there and would just book directly with the hotel.

Good hotel for the price”
The hotel was in a good location (about 15 min walk to Union Square), the room was absolutely clean and it was very quiet. My room was on the 4th floor and I stayed for one week. I didn't have much to do with the staff, but the few times I talked to them they were friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. There was no breakfast included but there were enough breakfast places close by. The room didn't have a fridge or coffee maker, but it did also not say anywhere it would. So, overall a pretty good hotel for a relatively low price.

Nice hotel, rough area, not really a 'party' hotel”
Me and my friend recently stayed at Oasis Inn. Both being in our early 20's we wanted to party, unfortunately this hotel wasn't for us. It's nice enough, but for maturer adults. A coach load of pensioners arriving confirmed this. We didn't have any noise complaints (and we were perhaps a little too loud) though. Parking is secure at night which is needed. The area is full of scary people and the homeless roam the streets. For safer areas i'd suggest near the gay district. The shower wasn't all mod-cons but by far the best i'd had with easy temperature gauging. Very clean and well presented. Worth the money.

Nice hotel but overpriced”
Nice hotel with good parking. Bed was very comfy, staff friendly, room was big enough and clean. I think the price could be a little lower, but you hardly can find better price in San Francisco. The location is ok if you have a car, if not I don't know. There are a lot of homeless people and trash around the hotel in contrast to most other SF parts.

Basic. Very good location for jumping on numerous buses. ”
You get what you pay for and so can not complain at all. Get a bus pass (clipper card, city pass, etc) and this hotel is pretty well perfectly placed. Within a block or so can get a bus to just about anywhere you could want to go. Never waited for more than a minute for a bus in the whole week we were there and everywhere seemed to be within 15 min max ride away incl fisherman’s wharf, golden gate park, Haight Street, a proper big supermarket etc. The biggest plus point is free parking. There is a minimart directly opposite, a Burger King within 100m and a really good coffee shop (greek, also serving great gyros and salads) just on other side of van ness street (doesn’t open till 10am though). The downsides: no kettle, cups, tea or coffee in the room (or in the lobby), no microwave anywhere at all, a mainly empty vending machine, no laundry on site. Upsides: parking, clean enough, pretty basic, good base to explore, great for buses, a small fridge in the room, staff are polite.

Not close to anything and limited facilities”
Good size room and free parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Distance to main attractions is a long way so used Uber’s etc. Parking in San Francisco horrendously expensive so Uber’s were best option. Room facilities poor with not even coffee making facilities etc. Hotel just has a vending machine which the man on reception warned me it would not likely give me any change. Close to many homeless people but had no problems with them at all in the street.

pleasantly surprised”
I was a little nervous to stay in this hotel from some of the reviews that I found, but it was actually a pretty decent hotel. Close to a sketchy part of town, but we weren't bothered by anyone. The room was clean, comfortable and definitely a great deal for the price. I would stay here again.

Very good”
I was in town for a conference. This was a decent location at a good price. I had to Uber/Lyft to the Moscone Center, but that wasn't bad. I really appreciated the parking area that they had, considering I drove up for a few days. The room was clean and the building was quiet at night. The weather wasn't great, but there is a pretty nice courtyard in the center of the building for nice days. Would stay again.

Just needed a place to sleep & Shower”
I had been a last minute attendee at a seminar. I needed a room for myself, and my 18 year old daughter. I was truly only looking for a place to sleep, with two beds, at a good rate. They were the only ones offering two beds at a reasonable rate, and free parking for our car, a BIG bonus in SF, where parking is $30/DAY. It WAS convenient to our venue, just a couple of blocks walk through SF, an experience I always find enjoyable. The short walk allowed us to select from a lot of places for breakfast, on the way to our seminar, as well as scoping out our destination for lunch. The staff does an excellent job, and when I arrived in my room, I felt that they had done a great job, even though the rooms are pretty spartan, so we could rest comfortably. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, and have a car, it is probably the best value around.

great location but ....wouldn't stay too long”
It was very good price for the location since SF hotels are really pricy. The room was big, free gated parking (I think it's really important to park gated garage in SF. I wouldn't park on street or open space parking lot). They had free wifi but it was not working often, I had to call them to restart the router (little annoying but I was not in the room most of time). I stayed 5 days and the water heater was not working properly so I couldn't take shower properly for 2 days. They didn't offer a free night or anything although I had to go to business conference without having a hot shower in the morning. They just said.. sorry and that was it. Although there are many good things about this model, I wouldn't recommend you to stay there if your trip is longer than 2 or 3 days. I will go there again only if I was going there for 2 ~3 days to go out at night to dance and go to museum nearby and return.

Excellent”
It’s worth the money for budget travellers, easy to walk around and getting public transport. It has a spacious room. There are homeless people around but it’s still safe to walk around. Overall, it’s a good place to stay.

Quality of rooms was fine and free parking for this price is hard to beat.

The place was great”
Ideally situated to get anywhere in the city. Reports of dangerous neighborhood wildly exaggerated; if you’ve ever been in any city, you’ll be perfectly comfortable. There are some homeless people— they are homeless, not criminals. An affordable place in an increasingly unaffordable city in an ideal location.

Great”
Great location (dtsf) with parking! Clean and well maintained hotel. Just don't go out at night. Hobos and junkies at every street corner.
