Off The Rails in Phnom Penh but with a nice hotel”
I'll spare you my review on Phnom Penh and just focus on the hotel. I stayed at Okay Boutique on an extended 3-day visa run just to get a taste of the city. I enjoyed my stay here, in spite of a few issues. The location is perfect and an ATM is right out front. Very close to most anything you would want to see in Phnom Penh and tuk-tuks are always on hand to take you where you would want to go. The hotel is decked out in a cool Khmer style and was clean. Staff was excellent. No issue with bringing a guest back to my room. My room was one of the large deluxe rooms with a balcony overlooking the city. Restaurant was good, ok...not bad, accepts VISA. Bathroom was ok, incandescent lighting and a lack of hot water (not cold, just not hot) didn't bother me enough to bring it up with hotel staff. I probably could have made a request and gotten the hot water thing worked out, but i didn't really care. Wi-fi was stable and cable tv good. Pool was nice but small. View from the hotel was awesome. My checkout was a couple of hours past the scheduled time but they didn't charge me extra. I would stay here again, as long as the 55% discount is still available through Agoda (came to $42 a night). If I had paid full price, my review might have a different tone.

The Okay Boutique Hotel - more than just okay.”
I recently spent 9 nights at the Okay Boutique Hotel and I couldn't have been happier. The staff were great and when I arrived at 10am, they straight away (because my room wasn't ready - which I expect it to be given my arrival time) stored my luggage and directed me to the rooftop pool with the wifi user name and password. My room was available sooner than expected and I was directed to a really nice room on the 10th floor overlooking the Royal Palace. The staff for the duration of my stay were fantastic, particularly the restaurant manager and one of the poolside staff who very quickly remembered my preferred drink so I really didn't have to ask after about the second day, he just knew. Some people have mentioned funky smells in the bathroom but I found that if you left the exhaust fan on in the bathroom all the time (not a drama) there was no problem. Overall, I had a lovely time at the Okay Boutique Hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I will certainly stay here again if I am ever back in Phnom Penh.

Stylish and quirky hotel in a great location ”
This hotel was recommended to me by a fellow traveller so I booked 4 nights at the Okay Boutique hotel in Phnom Penh. I was glad that I took his advice because this is a stylish and quirky hotel in a great location near to the heart of the old town and riverside. I have stayed in a number of hotels in Asia during my 4 month tour that are new buildings constructed and designed to look like old hotels, from a bygone era. I was astonished to learn that the Okay Hotel is relatively new but I would defy anyone to realise that. The architecture and internal finishing are quite astonishing and I felt that I was in an old colonial building full of marble and aged mahogany staircases. It has a superb top floor swimming pool and bar area with great views over the old city. The staff were welcoming and provided helpful advice and guidance. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Only gripe -I found the breakfast a little disappointing given the overall excellence of this hotel.

A pleasant surprise!”
This was my 14th trip to Cambodia. ( I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand so it's not that far.) Th Okay Boutique Hotel is within easy walking distances of most of what one wants to see in Phnom Penh so location is great. The hotel itself was BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, and the staff extremely courteous and helpful. This time of year Cambodia is HOT and HUMID so I was looking for a pool. Not only did it have a sparkling clean pool but most of the time I had it to myself The buffet breakfast was wonderful with both Asian and Western food including eggs cooked to one's desire. It's well worth the price and I'll return again!

What a great experience to stay here and beyond my expectation. Beautiful design, great location, extremely friendly staff, worth the money, great environment, great cleanliness, good breakfast and the management even upgrade our room to a better and bigger suite. View from our balcony is spot on towards the riverside where there’s fireworks display on the day of the Water Festival. Definitely will stay at this hotel the next time we visit Phnom Penh again. A great experience”
This was my first holiday to Cambodia and I was not disappointed. The Okay Boutique Hotel was an excellent choice although taking a room that was heavily discounted is not always a good idea. When I realized that my room was on the 12th floor I thought fantastic as I would only have to walk up one flight of stairs to the pool on the top floor. In hind sight, this was not a good move as I was directly under the kitchen and had to put up with the noise. The worst being the mortar and pestle ☹. The hotel is situated in a small laneway near the national Museum and Royal Palace and is a very convenient location. I enjoy walking but tuk tuks are available outside the hotel. The pool is on the top floor with views of the surrounding area and is open to midnight. I wish more hotels were like that. The breakfast choice was sufficient to start the day and the food and drinks around the pool are very well priced and good tasting. The staff are very friendly and most can speak English. I really enjoyed the hotel and Phnom Penh and I will return to check out more of the city and the country especially Siem Reap and Angkor. My only negative comment for the hotel is that the lift is very noisy and a distraction when you are having breakfast.

Highly recommend Okay Boutique. We felt safe. Service was excellent. Overwhelmed by the hotel design and detail. View from the pool, roof restaurant was excellent. Food was excellent. Had no complaints. Have stayed at the Cambodiana, Phnom Penh Hotel, Imperial Gardens, Naga Hotel, Juliana and others. Definitely put Okay Boutique on the top of the list.

As a first timer to Phnom Penh I think I made the best choice possible to stay at Okay Boutique Hotel. It would definitely be my first choice when I next visit Phnom Penh. Only one suggestion, and I know this can be difficult, but some real sausages for breakfast would be a treat, otherwise all good :-)

The best hotel in Phnom Penh”
This hotel is really value for money. The staffs would try their best to please you. Breakfast is adequate and I have no complaint for the price I paid. Within 2 blocks to the backpackers area where foods are reasonable price and lots of cafe or bars around. Be careful to walk by yourself at night. What I meant was make sure you carry your backpack in the front and do not use a sling bag because there are lots of “snatching” cases by the motorcycle riders. Generally is alright but walk with extra cautious. If I return to Phnom Penh, I will not think twice and stay again in this hotel as long as the price is still reasonable. Enjoy Phnom Penh!!

Awesome Hotel”
The stay was awesome, Apart from some really dusty floors under the beds everything was very good. The pool is smaller than expected and the toilet in the family rooms is placed really strangely (almost under the sink) but this hotel is quite new (only 3 months old) and the facilities are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are very friendly and they let us keep our room for 3 people for an extra night instead of moving to a room for 2 when one of our members left, at no extra charge. The hotel was quite central to everything in phnom penh and tuk tuk drives will generally be a max of $3 (the russian market was $3 and it is about 15 - 20 minutes away). It is initially quite hard to find as it is in an alley way but it's not an issue. Thank you guys at OKAY Boutique. We really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Location with Rooftop Pool”
Stayed here twice at the end of September and mid October. The hotel is excellently located near the center of town and close to all the sights and the riverfront. The rooftop pool is a great respite from the midday heat! They also offer a nice happy hour from 4-6. During my stays, I stayed in two room types: Superior Twin and Double. Both were nicely decorated, but the Superior Twin was actually larger. Bear in mind however, that a twin bed is very small. The rooms had safes, kettle, complimentary bottled water and complimentary tea and coffee. The only downside to this hotel was the breakfast. Don't get me wrong. It was adequate, but nothing special. Overall though, this is a great place to stay in downtown Phnom Penh. One final item to note, however, is that the hotel does offer a free sunset cruise of the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers, you just have to buy your own drinks and dinner, if you desire but the prices are surprisingly reasonable.

you really got what you’ve paid for. The unlimited breakfast was superb, I love that they served dragon fruit in the morning♥️ worth every penny! we also had a good night rest in our spacious room. All the staffs are friendly and accommodating. They let us change our VND to USD and also offerred to drop us in bus terminal to Vietnam and all free of charge. Tuk tuk drivers infront of the hotel was always stand by anytime and always willing to give you a ride in a reasonable price. The only thing that I want them to improve is the lighting in corridors. They should have put atleast a dim light for us guests not feel creepy while walking alone towards the room😁 it’s really dark anytime of the day. But still might consider to go back in this hotel some time when i get a chance to visit Phnom Penh once more. there’s no nearby convenient store within the area so you really have to walk about 10-15mins if you want to buy something.

great location, new hotel, great staff, beautiful”
this was the 5th seperate visit to this hotel over the last 6 months, it is the only hotel I have ever stayed in phnom phen because I have no reason to try a different hotel in phnom phen. The only thing about the hotel that I would love to see improved is food. It is good, although a bit over priced, just not fantastic. That is the only thing that is holding it back from being a great hotel. I have stayed in 10 different hotels in cambodia (siem reap, koh kong, kep, suhinoukeville) and the okay boutique hotel is one of my very favorites. I always have a great stay there and feel like I am at home.

Great hotel for comfort in Phnom Penh”
We really enjoyed our couple of days at the Okay Boutique Hotel - the comfort offered made staying in Phnom Penh much more relaxing than it could have been otherwise. The location near the Royal Palace is excellent, with restaurants in walking distance if you don't want to eat in. The room was lovely, with great views, nice bathroom and everything very clean and working well. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the tuk tuk drivers linked to the hotel were great too. We loved relaxing by the pool on the roof, a great spot for the breakfast too.
