If I could give zero stars I would! For the cost, this is not just the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Myanmar, it’s the worst hotel I’ve stayed anywhere and I’ve been all over the world! And it cost me as much as a US or Europe hotel. The bathroom was disgusting- soap scum covered the shower, black mold around the base of the toilet, dirty toothpaste crusted cup in the bathroom, peeling walls, outlets didn’t work, and there were no bedside lamps. They need to either drop their prices to $20 USD night or do a complete renovation.

Far away”
Nice hotel with friendly staff. One of them rented me his motobike. However, far away of town centre. And the internet seemed to work only by chance a few minutes per day. Hotel is the finest in town, which says most of what the rest offers. The wines on the list are mostly not available - except for the worst Australian ones. 100 USD per night is a bit much for what is on offer.

The right choice for me”
Overall we enjoyed your stay. when we arrived, they had put us in a room right in front of a wedding party planned for that first night. so we asked to change to a back room which they did; luckily there was almost no guest, so it was possible. I just don't get the idea of noisy wedding parties being organised right beside gypsy rooms! Even from a back room we could hear the music. Luckily they stopped around 11:00pm so the night was ok. Breakfast staff was super friendly, and free flow of real fresh coffee was most welcome. We liked the whole place, old classic with lots of wood, spacious bedroom, big bathroom and nice tropical garden with fantastic view on the river from the pool area, pool which is by the way too small for swimming

Nice quiet hotel with friendly staff”
I stayed in a deluxe room. This room is within the main building itself. The room was large and clean with a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. As well as a room safe. The beds are a little hard. But I had no trouble sleeping and no pain in the morning. The room maids will also come again in the evening to close the curtains, make sure your aircon is on and turn back the bed covers. The grounds are beautiful along with a small pool. The breakfast is served in its own building and the restaurant is contained within a separate wooden building. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant is quite good itself and the prices are reasonable if you factor in the cost of a taxi to go elsewhere. The closest restaurant is Jingpaw Htu 2. The only downside is access to transport the visit the city. The hotel does provide a taxi service.

Location wasn't very convenient but the staff at the Resort was fantastic and most of the staff is able to communicate with English. The restaurant manager Ms Devi is really helpful and eager to assist on any enquiries. Its a fantastic stay at the hotel and hope to come back again.

A good base if visiting Kachin”
The hotel bedroom- deluxe river view was very nice. It was costly. Pillows were exceedingly hard, but the room was very comfortable. There was no internet working. This might not have been the hotel's fault. We ate there on the Sunday lunchtime and whilst the food was delicious it was expensive and service slow. 32$ for 4 dishes and 2 non alcoholic drinks. The slowness was not an issue as we were sitting beside the river in the sunshine. Breakfast was a disappointment, if you have a lie in, then there is no fruit or juice left. The Shan noodle soup the first day was delicious but not on the second morning. Service was not great at breakfast but this was due to lack of English. In speaking with other tourists this still seemed to be the best hotel. It is about 20 minutes walk into town or if you turn right out of the hotel and walk to the bridge, there are some nice photography shots.
