It was disappointing because my family couldn’t relax and enjoy our time because of the inconsiderations of others.”

Things I like
The property provided a lot of activities. The condo was in a good location.
Things I don’t like
The second bedroom was in with the washer and dryer and felt more like a closet space. The pool area was very nice but you couldn’t enjoy it because a group of kids would play whiffle ball and football in the shallow areas and run into you. They would jump off the rocks and the bridge even though signs were posted.

Definitely disappointed in the location from the beach. I did like that it was close to a publix.”

Things I like
My daughter and her friend that was traveling with us (ages 17) used the hot tub each night. My husband and I tried to use it one night and felt as if we were babysitting.
Things I don’t like
The was advertised as "beachfront". It is not- it is in fact 0.4 miles away from a beach, crossing a busy street. There is a shuttle that will take guests to the beach, however it does not run M/Tu. Also, the "beach" that guests from the Palms are able to use is so small and crowded. Everything else is private use only by hotels and condos that are actually beachfront.

Wished we could have stayed longer”

Things I like
The resort was beautiful and we loved having the coffee shop and onsite restaurant. It was really close to Walmart and Destin Commons and there were several restaurants in the area as well. We really liked that the balcony could be assessed through all 3 bedrooms. The grounds and lobby were beautifully decorated for Christmas. The pool area was amazing. My family did not want to leave.
Things I don’t like
We wished it was on the beach. The restaurant menu in the unit was not the most up-to-date menu. One of the 2 sliding doors in the living room was a little hard to open so we avoided using that one. The carpet in the bedrooms are in need of an update. I think that updating to new carpet or nice laminate flooring would match the decor and furnishings of the unit. Also, it took a couple of cycles to dry clothes/towels even with a few items in the dryer. These are minor things that would not prevent us from returning again in the future, but the improvements would make the unit even better. The booking agent, Jamie, with Panhandle Getaways was fabulous! Thank you Jamie for everything!
