A solo-traveler-friendly romance hotel”

it's a nice stay. the staff didn't really speak English but really friendly and helpful. the overall condition of the room is beyond the price expectation so it's good. the breakfast is okay for any traveler even if you don't like Chinese' food. the environment outside the hotel is also good. You can easily find a place to shop or buy food so you won't ever get starve. The location of the hotel is great because it has a close and easy access to Sogo department store, Hsinchu Train Station and the famous East Gate.

Friendly Staff, Near to Train Station & Comfortable”

IT was the fifth time I choose this hotel for my business trip in Hsinchu. The staff are so helpful and the hotel is near to train station. Besides of that, the simple breakfast that the hotel provides is good as well.

It is located near Hsinchu train station.(Not HSR just Train) It takes about 3 minutes by walk also near by shopping centre, restaurant and bar area. You can enjoy until mid night. It would be really good for enjoying. Also on the top of the building there are laundry and dry mashines, you can use those for free including powder. The others are just so so. The room is big enough to stay. The room was clean but the furnitures are old.

The staff in Persimmon are friendly, local basic breakfast will be serve for your stay. It's just walking distance to Hsinchu train station (7 mins), family mart & 7-11 are just nearby (2 mins).

Great location hotel”

We stayed in a double with no view. Room size is comfortable, bathroom is very spacious, furnishing is dated (we are not fussy people so no issue here), mini fridge in room, water dispenser in room and mattress is very used and hard. Daily cleaning of room available. Reception and housekeeping staff are friendly and quick to response to our requests. The young female reception staff displayed patience and tact managing issues when the hotel was fully booked during the 28 Feb holiday. Location is good: just 5 mins walk to train station, 5 mins to East Gate, big shopping mall within walking distance and lots of eating places around.

Budget Hotel at Affordable Prices”

It was a memorable stay at this budget Hotel where it was comfortable and clean. Located near to the railway station, it was convenient to travel to other cities for the day and back.

Great location, near to the train station and shopping malls. Walking distance to the famous Cheng Huang Temple. Room is big but old. Breakfast is very delicious. Staffs are friendly.

Nice location, 'Romantic' rooms”

Hotel is obviously intended for short getaways for couples. It has appropriate equipment in the room to facilitiate this, and an excellent location in the city near many attractions. Prices are reasonable, and the staff are perfectly competent.

Creatively Themed Hotel”

each level is cutely decorated with different themes, such as sports, horoscope and dinosaurs and i personally like them. the room we were allocated to was definitely not suitable for travelers with kids, not sure about other rooms they had though. i think it is value for money and the staff are friendly. very near to the station and city attractions.

enjoyable with a great receptionist at the lobby, they are very friendly and helpful with the guest, it is convenience to go out around near by with lots of food and sightseeing such as the 100 years old temple and the market for food. near to the train station and 30 minute away from the High Speed Train to go to Taipei or south of Taiwan.

The crews are really nice, they will assist you with your needs. The hotel location requires some search on the map but it is not hard to get here. Rooms are quite decent with the price you are paying.

he hotel has good location. the express train station provides a free shuttle bus to city centre and we get off at the last stop. the hotel is just few minutes walk from the stop. the room is nice and clean. hotel staff is friendly and helpful. breakfast is fine.

The cheapest rooms are hideous”

We booked the cheapest room at first - 2700 NTD for 2 nights and it was the beginning of a nightmare: the bed sheets feels damp, the walls are falling apart and looks like someone had a big fight in the room. The ventilation isn't working good, apparently, as the room was full of moist-y smell. Albeit asking for a non-smoking room, a lot of people apparently had smoked in it. The shower screen door was broken and again, full of a pungent smell from the mixture of moist and cigarette. The last straw being that the bed side lamps couldn't be turned off - we called the hotel staff and they instructed that there should be buttons next to the bed for turning them off. After telling them that there isn't such a button, the lady simply told us that: "Well I guess it cannot be turned off then". I don't blame the poor lady in the front desk, but that room just sucks. ==== 5 minutes laying in the bed and I decided that sleeping a full night is simply not practical, so we paid for upgrade

Exceptional”

I liked the bedding the most, as it gave me the warmest and silky feel of all the accommodation I been to. You can loan their bike to roam Hsingchu. Their service was prompt example fixing up faulty lights and their staff was helpful to show me how to use the facilities.

There are better hotels around here”

Was a stop over for us as we arrive at the airport later in the day. I saw a few better hotels around. This hotel is in the middle of a small lane. Cars cannot enter so you have to stop at the end of the street and bring your luggage in yourself. Second bed is like a makeshift bed and is very soft. Not good but acceptable. For the price I think it is fine. Breakfast is not good. If the local porridge and vegetables does not suit you, then there is only plain bread to be toasted with choices of jam, peanut butter, butter.
