Woww, just woww. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. It was great in every way. The staff kind, nice, helpful and always with a great, big smile. If I ever come back to Inle lake (I really hope so) I’d definitely stay in Pristine Lotus Resort again. Xoxo

Outstanding little jewel ”
I would return in a heartbeat. The staff is magnificent and the rooms are fabulous. Under German management there is much focus on service and they succeed all the way!! Can only recommend. Also loved the location as it was a bit remote and fun to bike to Nyaung Shwe and return by boat. Must do - boat your on Inle and do it with their drivers. He was excellent

a place to relax in the Spa, to look for culture”
For my fourth time at Inle Lake since 2004 I choosed the Pristine Lotus Spa Resort. The home page of this resort showed me the equipment are different to the other Resorts I had seen before, creativity, inventiveness and imagination, that's true. The Spa offers excellent massages, for example the jiivala massage is a good experience. Restaurants closed to this Resort you can't find. The meals belong to international standard. The breakfast offers a varity, from European Breakfast to Myanmar's style. For your information: Airport transfer by taxi 30 USD one way.

Wonderful setting and great service”
The hotel has two sides. We stayed in a beautifully decorated family villa on the garden side. We had some problems with our tour operator when an airport taxi that we had booked did not arrive. The staff and the manager were very helpful and made a series of phone calls to get us to the airport on time - even as far as calling the airline to let them know we could be late. The setting of the hotel is lovely. There are two bars and two restaurants. The morning breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend this to anyone travelling in the Inle Lake area.

Beautiful setting and rooms”
This resort is in a beautiful location. Compared to some other resorts on Inle Lake, it is very peaceful and quiet as it is off the main channels. The rooms are beautifully furnished and equipped. The staff are very attentive with quick service. The only area of improvement is the food - there are plenty of cheap and tasty local restaurants in Myanmar and this resort (like the others) charges a higher price for lower quality food. And it is difficult to eat outside the restaurant because travelling on the lake at night is restricted.

Stunning views and novel rooms on floating 'boats'”
Gorgeous resort on the west side of Inle lake. Wonderful staff, great views, and comfy rooms. Stayed in the floating cottage for two nights and it was marvelous. Love the bath tub in the living room. Food options were the only bad point. Not so impressed with the menu. What was available was however tasty enough. But could be better. Breakfast was drab.

Nature, culture, relax”
The Floating Duplex are new buildings under construction. The first opening had been January 1, 2014. Because of construction may be you have to phone the Reception that the staff are looking for running water. The staff are promptly by your side for help. Not so a good idea to place the air condition above the entering door. The rooms are nice arranged: a Bamboo border between bath- and bed + living room and other specials. If you like to stay at the cannel, that brings the boots to the Inle Lake, or you are travel single you have this alternative instead of Lotus Villa at the other compound across the road. Hotel with beautiful Inle traditional theme”
Beautiful hotel and rooms build like on an Inle boat. I like the bath tub inside the room styled like a boat with candles provided but it took a long time for water to fill up the tub. The jacuzzi water was not hot enough. Disadvantage is no WiFi in the rooms only at lobby. The restaurant did not have Shan food. Breakfast was just average.

Good resort”
It's a good resort with great and friendly staff. Our view from the room was pretty good. It's still a bit far away from the Inle lake but the view is ok. The resort itself is a bit far away from town center though. But it is clean and beautiful. The restaurant is great with ok breakfast

Beautiful Resort with Impeccable Service Staff ”
We originally booked the Floating Duplex unit thinking that it must look as amazing as the Lotus Villa. We were wrong. Floating duplex units true, are about 9 months old and supposedly new, however it looks really aged and constructed poorly with the toilet having no proper door, separated only with a curtain. If you like this close proximity during your private time in the bathroom, wouldn’t be a big deal. Shower stall with pebble flooring that looks quite dirty, bathtub that has stains and bad water pressure. H/w, service staff were really nice to accede to our request with changing of rooms and did an immediate housekeeping thereafter. We decided the next day to top-up for the Lotus Villa. Best choice ever. Though 5 years old, it was constructed with way better furnishings, beautiful teak wood flooring, marble toilet walls/ flooring and beautiful balcony with a mezzanine. Lighting was a little dim granted, however having experienced the previous 2.5- stars floating duplex, the lotus villa instantaneously became almost 5 stars. (approx. USD60 difference in pricing). If it is within your budget, definitely do book the villa instead and you will have a wonderful experience at the resort. Service staff were really polite and professional in their communication and service to the guests. Truly kind with great service attitude. The female mgr who was a German lady was also very helpful and greeted us warmly during our arrival at the resort. The other Caucasian manager was a little more nonchalant overall, did not really felt any form of warm service attitude. Rather than engaging first in friendly conversation with guests, often spoke without a smile and exuding a form of indifference. No big deal, just a little flaw in the otherwise perfect service environment. Spa was really good. Masseuses were professional with good massaging techniques. Asian food menu was overall fairly good at the restaurant, with the European fare paling in comparison. Overall a good resort.

Beautiful Grounds & Rooms!”
We stayed here for one night on our way to the southern lakes. The property is absolutely gorgeous. As it is tucked back of the lake it is very peaceful and quiet at night. We stayed in one of the boat bungalows and the room was spacious and clean. I especially loved the bath tub. Food is good (though a bit pricey). Boat transit is able to come into the resort and pick you up at their private dock which was really convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, peaceful and calm nature spot”
The nature alone surrounding this hotel is deserving of its 5 star listing. Beautiful serene water, lush greenery, abundant variety of plant life all provide a sense of calm and peace and makes for a magnificent view out onto your hotel room. Highly recommend to stay in the floating duplex, as its unique architectural design gives the feeling of sleeping in a boat, but without any worries of the seasickness that may occur. The amenities in the room were new and provided a nice 5 star quality touch. I loved the unique bathtub and shower design. Personally had experienced no issues with the water temperature or pressure, as some reviewers mentioned. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded any expectations. The dinner choices on the menu provided enough local cuisine dishes which was quite a joyous surprise however the breakfast choices were all European style which was disappointing (save for 1 local noodle soup dish each morning which was excellent!). Would recommend to try the local red wine, as it was very good quality. There were only 2 points which may put in doubt its 5 star listing and they would be the wifi availability that was minimal and slow, and the spa service which was average at best. However, aside from these 2 points, the stay was superb and would definitely return and recommend to everyone.

Welcoming, nice, relaxing visit”
Excellent stay. It is 20 min by taxi to Nuang Shwe, and a trip to the visit needs to be organized. Boat trip on the lake is pristine, eye opening and most relaxing in all of Myanmar.

Nice property on the fringe of Inle Lake”
Boat shaped rooms with uniquely designed interiors. Boat rides from the property to various parts of the lake. Decent food. Nice quiet atmosphere. The only downside is that the lake is not visible from the hotel, only narrow strips of water alongside the rooms, so there isn't much of a view.

We are now big fans of Inle Lake and Pristine Lotus”
I had made a mistake with our booking but the management smoothed things out beautifully. And after that auspicious beginning, the stay there got better and better. Very helpful staff are a big plus, the restaurant serves up delicious food and the rooms are very comfortable. We had thought to use the spa facilities but ended up spending all our time on the lake or just enjoying the view from our room. An excellent boatman/guide took us around for two days and we enjoyed it thoroughly. My only fault is that the beautiful location is a bit far from any of the larger towns but that is really a minor quibble. A great place.
