“It is what it is”
Ignore those who made a fuss or complain with a full doctorate essay. This hotel is geuine and the servicecs is legit. The only crime are the ignorant bunches of foolish, spoilt, self -entitled travelers who think they know a bit or two and tried to judge harshly towards the overall. This hotel meets all the expectation except for one. that the toilet flush seriously need some overhaul due to low water pressure. Other than that, everything functions properly. Clean room, good supply of water for shower, polite receptionists, helpful porters, and kind room service crew who will go the distance to make sure you had an enjoyable stay. Most of the time, I find that the staff are much more under pressure to deliver as there tend to be communication gap when comes to speaking English. I would recommend learning some basic Mandarin or Cantonese might help bridge the communication better. I have to give my praise to the reception. My friends arrived few days later to check into the same hotel. When the recep realize that we are traveling together, they immediately arrange rooms that are on the same level to facilitate communication. For that, I am extremely thankful for their initiatives. Also to note, don't blame the staffs for charging a fee for the set of disposable toothbrush, it is a common thing now in various hotels in HK.
