Wonderfull hotel in the city of Vadstena. Beautiful and clean and friendly staff.
My room was cozy, clean, and felt luxurious. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff very helpful and friendly. The inn is in a very nice historical area right next to lovely woods. I would love to go back.
If you carry a lot of luggages, this is the ideal hotel for you, above the train station and very close to the point of departure of the buses for Stockholm. The place is deserted. It may have been out of season, but the restaurant was closed, the bar was closed, the reception was closed early and the service level poor due to this. The rooms were old and tired, but clean. Good parking space was important to us because of a large car and trailer. The city had an old out of the way charm.
I stayed here on Business with a colleague, we were both surprised how good it was. You could not wish for a better location right by the town square. Any worries I had about noise were completely unfounded. The rooms were modern well equipped rooms even having a high quality coffee machine! No staff present at arrival. A nightmare to get the keys. No food around. Hell on earth. Avoid.
Disappointed even though I booked family room we were given smaller room
Great service and good breakdast I stayed only for one night, the spacious rooms seem newly renovated, minus was no floorheating in the bathroom

Hotel Drott not in operation (being renovated???) so offered room in Hotel Centric instead. Hotel Centric was good value for money with large rooms, central location and good breakfast.

We had an amazing day with our 1 year old daughter. The sand box close to the patio and the indoor pool and the play room upstairs made her day. The room on the ground floor with patio doors facing the center patio was perfect, we could put our daughter to bed and then there was no problem ordering food from the a la cart menu and eat outside our own door (only works ...
