Traveling to Nepal? Find Janakpur Zone hotels

In janakpur you wont find many hotel but Hotel Welcome is best among all others.Best thing about hotel is location. All places are very nearby & walking distance. Janaki temple, Vivah Mandap, Ram mandir . Due to some road expansion few roads are blocked but once this road expansion is done hotel can be easily tracked down & reachable. Hotel staff help us & suggested to surely visit the Ganga Maha Arati in the evening which starts around 7 PM near the lake which is very nearly located to hotel. It was very good experience to watch Mahar aarti. we booked 2 delux room & hotel upgraded us & gave us one triple sharing room which was large one as we have one child with us.. Delux rooms are well decorated with good interior. Food is good.

On arrival the 2 staff were unaware we had booked, but quickly gave us the super de-luxe room as no one else was staying there. This is because I guess its a winter reoert catring for larger groups, and since they had no wi-fi ir internet connection I guess Agoda were unable to confirm our booking. However this was resolved at end of stay by nepalese lady who was conversant in english and efficient.Would go again probably.Quirky bedroom- had to use shower in other bedroom as gas not connectedand was a bit of an ordeal.
