Stockholm County hotels & accommodations

We spent 2 nights at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel in Stockholm before boarding a cruise. The hotel was so convenient; we walked from the Stockholm Central Train Station, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful! The hotel exceeded my expectations.

the hotel feels a bit small and not terribly exclusive in the lobby, in comparison to the name and how many rooms there are. but there are plenty of friendly staff and an alert concierge-desk. you can get a great view from the water-facing rooms. long walks to some of the rooms. the room we got was nice and fresh, while the corridor leading to it was less cheerful. we...

If you can afford it, go for it, as it is one of the best located properties in Stockholm. T-Centralen, which is the metro station from where you can access possibly all of the tourist attractions is BELOW the hotel, while plenty of trams and buses are available on the road outside. A good number of tourist attractions are accessible by foot from this hotel. Cannot wri...

Within a day, we became acquainted with key areas of Stockholm and realised how well positioned Hotel Sturplan is in the city. Positioned a block from a subway station and amidst shopping areas, lovely neighbourhoods, sidewalk cafes, and popular waterfront attractions, it's a surprisingly quiet and really comfortable stay. Staff were without exception very helpful, and...

I was visiting Stockholm during winter time, the location of Generator hostel its great 10mins walk from the central station. Facilities of the hostel are great..Example:USB port almost can find all the common area which is good for charging phone or electronic gadget.. Its the best hostel I ever stayed so far.. Must visit them again.... Staff are nice.. I was late to...

We couldn't be happier with our 1 night stay here. The staff was extremely accommodating when we arrived early from a long flight, so we got the room in the morning. This was the best thing that could happen to us, as we could have a nap in the best bed in the world, before heading out to see the city. Rooms are just excellent, there is absolutely nothing that wasn't g...

My stay here on AUG 14-17, 2014 was really nice! I actually tried to book my brother to stay here the night we arrived in Stockholm but I made a mistake on the dates and he had to go to another hostel nearby which he commented was not really nice so I am glad to have gotten my dates right for my stay here at City Backpackers! hee! well, the start of my arrival in Stoc...

the price/service ratio is excellent compared to most hotels in stockholm. this well located hotel has very good rooms with proper amenities. staff was most helpful from check-in to check-out. food was ok. could improve their breakfast buffet service logistic. business center very well equiped. will certainly book this hotel again while doing business in stockholm.

I have no objection regarding the location and type of rooms. Just opposite to the Stockholm central station, subway station just below the property, also close to shops/restaurants and other facilities. It has a decent breakfast. City center stockholm is generally very pricey and hotel room rates are high as well. Compared to that the rooms and the price are decent en...

The only thing wrong with this hotel is its location sandwiched between a motorway and the railway. You can only arrive and leave by car, as far as we could see and there's a nasty-looking factory right next to it .. Otherwise hand on heart it's spotlessly clean, big good rooms, nice breakfast and sweet staff. We'd probably stay again if we had to visit Stockhol...

awesome hoel choice. hotel is centrally located, close to public transport. Hotel staff was attentive, rooms were clean and the inclusive breakfast breakfast was better than most. I would recommend for anyone visiting Stockholm, who wanted to experience a quiet setting, expiencing a neighborhood feel, yet close to everything and easy access to the amazing public tra...

So I missed my gate closure by 3 minutes and needed a place to stay for the night. Since I rebooked for the next morning early, SkyCity seemed like the most convenient place to stay as it is in Arlanda airport. The accommodations were great. Clean. Comfortable. I was very aggravated getting in but I left with relaxed and ready to head back to Gatwick. I gave the staff ...

We had a 4 night stay at Hotel Tegnerlunden which in Stockholm. The hotel was well priced for the being so close to the centre of the city and Sweden is generally an expensive country. We arrived at the central station and walked to the hotel, took around 10 minutes and was easy to find. We arrived several hours early hoping to leave our bags before going exploring....

This hotel is on the suborb of Stockholm but with an easy acces to the center since it is located just next to the subway. Atmosphere is great, the hotel is very nice. All the rooms are good size with stylish decoration. If you do not mind going downtown by subway or do not need to stay in the expensive old town center, this is the best option.

Lovely big rooms with excellent view (we were on the 11th floor). Hotel has free gym, sauna, wifi and breakfast. Conveniently located next door to a Metro station and bus depot, which made it easy to get to Central and to the Airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even let us check n very early so that we could freshen up and still get in a full day's si...

Excellent location for sightseeing and exploring Stockholm. Apartment was beautiful and well equipped. Spacious bedroom, full kitchen. Felt like a real apartment. Limited interactions with staff but when we did speak with them they were very helpful. Small leak in bathroom (tho it's hard to believe no one noticed it before us).

This hotel is located in a quiet town away from the busy Stockholm City Centre. It provides a great base to explore the quiet and charming nature trails along the archipelago island. May want to consider arranging this at the beginning of your Stockholm trip, as it quickly sets you in a vacation mode. However note that it takes a fair bit of walking around on foot if ...

Very friendly reception guy , Located in Underground with lot of IKEA bunk beds , near to main attractions of Stockholm . it's located near the end of the main shopping street, much better than living in old town. The tidiness and facilities must exceed what you can expect for a budget hostel. I booked at a very bargaining price, and I don't think I can find anywhere better at this price in Stockholm.

The hostel is in a perfect location just beside the metro. There are some shops, restaurants, bars and supermarket around. The single room is very small, fit only for one person and there isn't any window, so the ventilation isn't very good. But overall it's a great hostel with this price in Stockholm.

Firstly we were greeted by the super helpful staff Maryam, she allowed us for early check in after our long bus ride to Stockholm. Bed was comfortable. Location superb near Odenplan Metro station. Breakfast was great!!!!!! Love everything about this hotel

The hotel in itself was ok. The food (breakfast and dinners) were very good. Unfortunately the train station is about 500m from the hotel and 9 train stops into town. There are no other restaurants near the hotel or shops. It rained a lot while we were in Stockholm so the distance from the station was highlighted! The service however from the front desk was wonderful a...

Booked the apartment for a two night stay as I was meeting local family in the area. The apartment was perfect. Very good value for money, clean, tidy and had a shop close by. Not too far from a tube station about a 10min walk and then a 7minute journey into Stockholm central. Will definitely be using these apartments again.

I slept one night and it was so clean hotel and staff were very helpful, I asked them for baby bed after five minutes it was there. I had a great time there and absolutely recommended and it worse the price and more, i will stay with them again in future. /Khalil

Brilliant location in Stockholm with it being around 20mins to/from the central station. There are another 2 TunnelBana/Metro stops not far away. Photoshopped photos on Google. Took forever to get the room after checking in. Shower only had hot water. No one at front desk to complain about shower, had to wait until morning. In the morning had a different staff that was more helpful and understanding. Have offered us another room but the show leaked water all over. Finally got a third room. The triple was tiny. T...

Staff were. very helpful, adding a third adult to the booking at short notice and providing a trundle bed. Arrangements were also made to check in after reception had closed. Veronica was a really good hostess. The location of the place is a bit far from a bus stop that goes frequently but once you have found it, it is a breeze. The surroundings are beautiful and overlooks the lake and there is a an amazing path you can walk to really admire the lake. Overall if you are looking for an escape from the city to be surrounded by natural beaut...

We liked the nice welcome from the hotel and the free nice wine and fruits. everything is clean and the hotel look like new. The gym facility is very good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel location was perfect just a walkable distance from Centrum "Sodertaly Center" and from my relatives flat as well.

Memory hotel is nice and quite hotel, the staff is friendly and helpful, near the hotel you can find Kista market and there a lot of restaurants (Indian, Arab, Mexican, American and chins restaurants), I will not back to this hotel because the rate is too expensive and they need to provide coffee maker at the room

My partner and I stayed one night at the Rica Gamla Stan Hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Located right in the heart of the Rica Gamla Stan area, the hotel is close to many lovely eateries, shopping and sight-seeing locations. The room we stayed in was very quaint and cosy and full of charm. Highly recommended hotel

A 450SEK ($US 100) parking fine because reception directed us to the wrong parking area, and indifferent to the fact when informed next morning. The hotel sign on the car dashboard does not protect you. DON'T park directly in front of the hotel. Impossible to park next to hotel entry- not sure where guests park when arriving with luggage. Poor/no air conditioning, and ...

The hotel itself is of a high standard but the room was quite poor. The room felt cheap. For a 4* hotel and this amount of money it was way overpriced....think 4* price and 2* quality and you're closer to the truth: old paint, damaged door, holes in the walls, tiny bathtub, fake marble finish, cracked tiles, etc, things you just don’t expect to find when you spend near...

I like 17th century's European architectures and thus I like old town a lot. I am also fascinated by castle and palace. It was so joyful that the hotel was just next to the Royal Palace! Wery nice stay as expected since I have stayed there before. Good rooms and exelent breakfast for a reasonable price. Walkingdistance to a lot of famous places that Stockholm is known for. Just a short walk and you are at Strandvägen and from there you can take a nice walk by the riverside. I really recomend this hotel if you will go to Stockholm.

We arrived and felt that the receptionist knew her job and that she really wanted us to feeel welcome. We went for a cup of coffe on the veranda. The service was promt. We had our coffe and my wife left for our room. Istayed waiting for the bill.
