Riau hotels & places to stay

Our room offered a good amount of natural lighting with its large window facing the street, and its quite ample for an extra bed. Tea & coffee making facilities, minibar, flat screen TV, and separated toilet and shower with toiletries. The bed and pillows are comfortable with clean white linen. The hotel is located in Riau area, you will find some nice eateries within a walking distance, and a couple minutes drive will take you to several factory outlets. Breakfast menu are quite varied, but I found the cake served were quite dry as if it's not freshly made. Elevator can only function if you are hotel guests, as you will need to tap you keycard to reach the floors you wish to go to. This can be quite a hassle if you're not travelling alone and you and your roommate have different plans, but you can ask for extra keycard at the reception. I will definitely book this room again for another occasion.

i came with my parents and sister. we booked 2 connected rooms. lovely, clean, well equipped. i love the breakfast buffet the most! various selection. free coffee. cappucino is awesome. breakfast provided include main meal (local dish), rice porridge, fritter, toast bread, coffee or tea, guava kuice/orange juice/apple juice, 2-3 kind of fruits, salads, and can order scramble egg, cereals. food is delicious. even the ala carte menu also affordable and delicious!!!! staff is frenly and efficient. very strategic location. we can walk about 500m to shop outlet jalan riau but need to be careful at night coz a bit dark along the alley. this is the best hotel i have stayed so far when holiday to indonesia. the rating shud be at least 4 stars. keep up the good work!

I booked the hotel since the location near the city centre, and didn’t disappointed with the choice. The hotel was relatively new (from 2015) and modern design. The only thing that make me uncomfortable was the noise from the mosque (located in the back oh the hotel), the noise was very disturbing even though our rooms in 15th floor. They provided baby crypt, even i didnt request that in my booking. They notice that i was bringing children in the order detail. Really appreciate that! The service was excellent, they attend to my request to clean up the room when my child was sick in the middle of the night, and they were very kind to offer any help they can do with my sick child. Will surely come back again.

the hotel is quite good, located in the heart of bandung so its near to everywhere. check in only about 10 minutes for 3 rooms, room is clean, there is vale service free of charge when hotel park is full. there is access​ from basement parking direct to room with lift. there are two swimming pool for adult and kid, it will be 5 star if kids pool having warm water. i stayed in peak season (all room full booked) but the restaurant can handle while breakfast. overall we are happy to stay here. thank you.

We book on the same day. We arrive at 3oc in the morning and still got a lovely smile and service from the security and staff. Even when the key didnt work. Surprisingly clean bedroom and spacious. Its only the bathroom thats kinda thight n small but very clean. Its not on the busy main road. Its next to the mosque but we didnt really hear any noise remembering it the evening of a big moslem celebration. Great stay and will devenatly come back with group of family for short budget traveling. We also wish we would try the Meize spa & reflexiology that is still in the same bulding. But we havent try. There is also a mini markt in the same building. So its quite conviniece for lots of your personal needs. Thanks Meize hotel. Will be back again.

The hotel is located in Riau Junction it means that it intersects with Jl Merdeka, Banda Bahureksa Trunojoyo, a few blocks to dago which can be easily reached by foot. Im really bad with space shape and distance but trust me this hotel is real close to culinary and shopping areas. The supermarket itself which is adjacent to the hotel is already huge enough to dive urself in for half a daylight. We went out most of the time so the bed was only our time to rest hahaha... Overall, it's a comfortable hotel for a reasonable price.

We chose this hotel because we have wedding invitation in Tirta Siliwangi ballroom which located next to this hotel. We can easily go there by walk coz there is connecting door from lobby hotel. Once we got there, we are suprised with the swimming pool that offer by the hotel. This hotel has very nice swimming pool and mini water park. My daughther were very happy with that. The room are also nice and clean, the location also near to Riau Factory Outlet. The only weakness is parking area which very limited and only provided in front of the hotel (no specific parking area).

Overall this Hotel is among the best place to stay. The staffs are friendly, location is near to well known Factory Outlet along Jalan Riau and shopping complex. We can just walk to Factory Outlet. Easy to get public transport (taxi and angkutan kota). The room is comfort and spacious. For improvement I would like to suggest the breakfast menu to be more variety especially in international food. The rest I have no complaint during 3 nights my stay here.

I only have good words to say about this hotel.Booked a deluxe room.upgraded to exec suite. The room was large,perfectly clean,smells great,tastefully decorated like a dollhouse.even the bathroom was gorgeous.the balcony was amazing;painted white and planted with beautiful flowers. Upon check-in,we were welcomed with zamzam drinks and dates.prayers clothes,praying mat,prayer timetable and qur'an were provided in the room.in the evening,a staff personally came to the room to hand us beautifully packed dates with a card of prayers to recite before sleep. Breakfast was wonderful,the best coldpress juice.cafe ambiance was too pretty.Location was great,walking distance to Jln Riau factory outlets. we wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately the hotel was fully-booked. Staff were all wonderful,helpful,polite and really cared for us.they even provide bicycles for customers.special thanks to ms.tuti and the whole team who helped us throughout our stay. Will definitely come back and recommend this wonderful hotel to our friends, in shaa Allah.

It's the right choice for us to stay in Summit Siliwangi Hotel, with the price I think it is the best hotel in "Riau" area. The room is not so spacious but enough for us and quite clean. Bathroom is not the best area, but still clean. There is only 1 toothbrush and I think the towels need to be renew. Breakfast has not so many variety, but the taste quite good. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

first we entered the hotel, they welcomed us with a friendly hospitality, we still remember the name of front desk clean was the first word came in to mind when we entered the room. yes it is small, but really, you only use the hotel room to wrap up your shopping bags into the luggage and sleep for couple hours before you go home. the bathroom was also clean, even you found the sink inside the room instead in the bathroom. but really it doesn't make us have less point to amaris. they provide the guest with soap and shampoo dispenser. every floors are also provided with water dispenser. no fridge though. but then again, bandung is also about its culinary, so you don't need to keep anything in the fridge. behind amaris they have new resto called 'hartwood', nice place, big portion but no sundanese food. near there they have progo st, with lots of cafes like hummingbird and cafe progo. the hotel is also situated near the riau st, where all the famous factory outlets are there. guess what? it is within walking distance. the famous local yoghurt cisangkuy is also walk reachable. its in the must try list. breakfast! many people said they don't have enough variety, yes ofcourse! it is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. but they do have omelet, fried rice, fried noodle, sausages, bread, porridge, coffee, tea and juices. which we think its enough for breakfast though. sum up, we highly recommend you to stay here as if great location, cleanliness, friendly hospitality are things that you're looking for. help the hotel to maintain their 'good rate' by saving the energy though.

It was a pleased experience. Riau street is just a best place to play. You can find so many restaurants with various style and fashion shops. All was perfect during my stay at Tebu hotel, except one thing. I need to do the room transfer on the second day which really troublesome for our little family since i brought my little baby. Hope i'll not get that kind of experience again on the next stay (yes, one day i'll come back to stay at Tebu hotel).

So for the last visit to Bandung I decided to go to Jl. Riau (and surrounding areas) only. So I decided to stay exactly at Jl. Riau or nearby that can reach Jl. Riau by walking. After a long search, Anggrek Gandasari Hotel is on my top list. The consideration: 1. Its location is very close to Jl. Riau, it's like 50-100 meters only to Jl. Riau (the part with the best Factory Outlets like Heritage, Cascade, The Secret, The Summit, etc.) 2. They have very cheap price regarding the location and the room and the services and other things. 3. The room is quite large and clean, and so cozy, with comfortable bed. And they have like 4 pillows and 2 small pillows on the bed. 4. Their staffs are so friendly and helpful. And they upgrade my room from Standard to Superior. 5. They have quite large parking area. So I think for my next (and next and next) visit, I'm gonna choose this hotel if my destination is to shop at Jl. Riau again.

I always spend my night here when in Bandung every time I have a family vacation, wedding event or college friends gathering. The price is cheap for me yet the facility is still very good. The staff is also very nice to me and welcome me whenever I want to check-in (even in the middle of the night or early in the morning). I recommend Corsica Hotel to whom who wants to spend their night in Bandung for more than 3 days. It really saves your money yet still comfy. I rate this place as 5 stars for the most affordable yet comfy hotel.

Huge room, clean, and friendly staff. Location near to factory outlet in riau area. 24hrs receptionist. Toiletries provided. Strong wifi. You can get grab car easily here. Airport transfer service also provided by hotel but this service only until 8 or 9pm. Cons : No hairdryer, iron, keetle But overall this is the best hotel for me. Will come back again one day :)

It was my fist trip to Bandung and as I searched the Web for budget accommodation, the name "Hummingbird" caught my attention. But there was no review on Agoda for me to gauge the quality of this guesthouse; apparently because it was relatively new. The rate was certainly within my budget and the location description seemed quite good -- it being close to the few popular streets of factory outlets and trendy cafes. But I was hesitant as I needed to be assured by at least some positive comments from someone who had stayed there before. As I searched the Web further, I came across a blog review of the Hummingbird Cafe, which is part of the Hummingbird Guesthouse. The review of the Cafe was excellent. And as the Cafe also caters to guests staying at the Guesthouse, I thought to myself that there must be lots of satisfied Hummingbird guests too. I'm glad to say that Hummingbird Eatery & Guesthouse (that's the full name on its signboard) won me over totally. I love its creative and arty decor along the hummingbird theme. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable with FREE wifi which is so essential in this smartphone age. Location is very good -- near to Riau and Dago, the two streets popular for their factory outlets, and also not far from Jln Trunojoyo where some distros are located. And true to the review on the Cafe that I read, the food was delicious, so much so I had most of my meals there. As for the staff, while they didn't have the starchy smartness and professionalism of staff in 4 or 5-star hotels, they were nice and seemed to be more cheerful which fits in well with the entire atmosphere of Hummingbird.

Location is great. Middle of the city, lots of place to eat around, near to everything i can think of. Price is great for that location. Bed and pillows are nice. The place is clean, but not shiny clean. Small leaks in bathroom. The shower is either too hot or too cold. The elevator is only up to 3rd floor, while my room is in 4th. The staff didn't shown me my room. But the numbers on the doors are clear. All in all, i had a good stay.

It was a pleasant stay. We booked for 3 rooms with 1 bed each (queen size), it was quite spacious and the interior design was amazing. Had no issues with cleanliness or the air conditioner. Bathroom is shower type and they have hot and cold water. The hotel also have wifi, but only accessible downstairs, dining area. The hotel serves buffet breakfast which is not bad. The only lacking i can think of are: 1. they do not have fridge, but what do you expect from a budget hotel? 2. there's no nearby shopping centre, if that's what you're aiming for. 3. we had a hard time to look for the hotel at first, because it is within the alley area, plus the surroundings nearby are quite shady. We rent a car with driver, so we do not have much issue of going in/out of the hotel.

stayed from 6th - 12th march. room was kindda small but spacious enough for 2 person. whats important is that its clean, tidy and have got very strong wifi in the room. the staff are very friendly, very very helpful (they help us find few boxes coz our bags couldnt fit they things we bought). breakfast was kindda dull coz they serve same breakfast (the only thing that change is the noodles, rice and chicken).but they coffee is just delicious!!! the one reason why i still go for breakfast. yummyy the coffee i would say. food in their menu is nice thou. loveee lovee loveee their mash potato and the carbonara fettuccini. hotel location is bout 15 mins from the airport, 10 minutes from jalan riau (where many fo's are) and bout 20 mins from pasar baru. on sunday, they sort of have a morning market outside the hotel. and you will see many horses open for ride (must pay of course) in conclusion, i was thankful i stayed in this hotel. would stay here again the next time we go to bandung.

If you want to spare some time in Bandung I suggest to stay here in Ciwulan. Located in the center of city, just walking distance to Gedung Sate, a historical building in Bandung. Very close to Jl Riau , Bandung's Factory Outlet, retail shop that sell clothing for the family. One thing that you have to prepare if you want to stay in Ciwulan Guest House don't forget to bring soap and shampoo because they don't provide it.
