Friendly professional staff at the front desk to help us. We used Fukuoka as a base to head out to nearby towns for day trips and front desk allowed us to keep luggage. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Family friendly hotel which is suitable to bring child, hotel could provide child bath stuffs even bathtub is not available. Near Hakata station which is quite convenience for transfer to other spots, will recommend travelers to stay. :)

I have stayed at this hotel for the second time. It feels very comfortable and very close to the JR station. The Staff are very friendly. The hotel rooms are very large and wide. The price is moderate and the children are very comfortable. At the time of check-out, the Staff was not too friendly, no smile, no service attitude. She name was Yoshida, a woman. The original 100% satisfaction with this hotel was 20% lower than this woman. But I will continue to live in this hotel next time I go to Fukuoka.

The hotel in general is very well cleaned and maintained. The bonus about this hotel is the location which is just 5min walk to the subway Hakata station where you can easily take the metro to the airport (just 3 stops away!) and the Shinkansen or the JR line plus Kyūshū line, all lumped into a quick getaway for any free-and-easy travel! I requested a quiet room knowing a busy city of Fukuoka can be a little noisy as it’s so central, I was given a room facing another building which is fair enough and peaceful without much summer sunlight. If you face the other side where the traffic is, during the summer the screeching of the morning cicada is inevitably natural! Breakfast is not buffet-styled however it gives you a great Japanese Kyūshū treat to your tastebuds! The room however has a little inconvenience which is the electrical points are not international (multi-plug sockets) nor USB ports installed liken to the newer hotels. Very good location with reasonable price”
The hotel is just beside the Hakata Station with shopping malls and restaurants nearby, it was great ! The size of room is just right and not big enough, the bed was not enough for a family with 2 adults and 1 child. Our room was facing the back lane, althoug there is no view, it was quiet in the night. The breakfast at the ground floor restaurant was delicious but my child had to pay for her breakfast (a set for child and that is the only choice). The staff are very kind and polite.

Great location at Hakata station. We bot the North Kyushu pass and did day trips for 5 days so Richmond Hotel was a great place to stay for that. Also a supermarket at the back of the souvenior foods plaza. Lots of dining options in the area. Was there for the Hakata Christmas lights and it was great.

Tasty breakfast ”
The hotel faces directly to the street so it's better to stay higher floor. A little bit walk to the JR station and lots of dining choices in nearby shopping malls. Staff speak good English and are very polite.
